since i been spraying i love doing jobs ... what i love doing the most is mist coating bare plaster its flawless it will knock spots off rolling and brushing 💪
have you ever tried using a larger tip or is the one your using the perfect size for mistcoating. only got my machine on Thursday so I don't know what's the best size tip to do mistcoating
colin marshall hey. well it depends what you machines tip limit is. mines .21 so a 621 for example. but i use the new graco fine finish low pressure tips as they are reduced over spray and pressure. if i used a 620 i would be near enough on the max of what my machine is recommened for so would be pushing the machine more. i prefer to come down a few sizes and go with that. i like the 618. wide fan and a good amount of paint.
If i am back rolling i will just drop the roller down the last coat. This job was all white. So id do it all in one go. Walls a quick coat one at a time lapping onto ceiling. Then as soon as ive done one wall I'll I'll do it again while its just pulling in with a heavier coat and drop yhe roller down it. If its a colour i may cut and roll walls. Or do the same procedure and then tape off walls and spray ceilings
hey. yes i do, theres a video of me spraying ceilings on a domestic job on my channel. Got loads to upload so its just waiting for them to upload. Subscribe if you havnt already and you will see when new ones pop up. Got a domestic this week I'll be doing.
thanks i have subscribed, new to spraying im based scotland , hardly anyone sprays domestics in uk, just got myself a gx21 graco but not had balls to use it yet lol also got some fflp tips , hopefully see those vids and be inspired to go for it, thanks
ah cool thanks. ye watch my other vids as i mainly use the fflp tips. usually dilute 10% for top clats to ease flow. but im doing an apartment this week big 2 bed thats for sale carpets down etc thats up for sale. but its how id do it if furniture was in. theres a video on my channel spraying ceilings in a domestic
No spits. This is only base coat anyway so gets a sand after. I use a clean shot for final costs. Again no spits from starting stopping. It saves on heavu build up on top and bottom from the laps, saves paint, saves ware on machine over long periods.

Saves hours and strain on your body too
Was this the mist coat or you coated all in one?
sorry with tip are you using 314 or a 618, I'm guessing it is a 618 but the width of the fan.
colin marshall oh sorry. yes its a 618fflp. then half way through i show you what the 314fflp is like as i didnt change the pressure.

Stop stopping so much bro. Looks good but I garauntee you're getting spits and thick spots
