Thanks! You are a very good teacher. Many guys who claim to be teachers end up playing stuff at three thousand miles an hour and never break anything down. They use the teacher platform to show off their chops. That is not teaching. You break things down in a way people can understand. Thanks again!

_I think this may be the best lesson you’ve done so far! At least for me anyways… this helped me so much! I really appreciate this, my friend!_

Really practical and useful exercises. Straightforward yet challenging, thank you. To answer your final question: executing fills is always harder for me then thinking of them. Transitioning in and out of the fill blows all my timing apart.

Same for me… the second I hit my fill, all is good… the second my fill is done and time to keep the back beat going, I’m way out of time and have to start all over again…

Hey there. Great lesson! So much potential to build really interesting and versatile drum fills. The building blocks for drum solos are great.
To answer your question, I struggle more with execution of all the things I have in my brain.

Always enjoy your tutorials. Have you considered putting a big monitor in front of your drums so you don't have to turn your head to look at your computer screen?

Hey just came from your fixing snare sounds video , I really like your sound and I have a question . I'm getting ready to head get rid of my electric set and go back to acoustic , if you had a budget of say around 1,700 for a 3 piece and what's most important is tone, may I ask what would you go for

Good lesson, but the link to the PDF could be clearer. It points to an ad for a paid lesson and isn't clear how to get the PDF.

I clicked the link to get the free guide and entered my email. Nothing about the guide on the next page, but there was an ad to buy a lesson on foot technique. "Grab my comprehensive kick drum technique & coordination workshop (normally only accessible inside my $29/m paid membership) for just $7 right now."

Call me irresponsible, but I've alway gone with feel when it comes to fills. I don't think about what I'm going to do, I just do it. For want of a better way of describing this, I'd call it intuitive. IMO, the less you have to think, the more spontaneous your playing can be. Again. IMO.

Using that approach I often find myself playing boring fills, because when I'm not actively think of what I'm going to play, my body usually choose the easiest option lol

Wow, you’re amazing! If this lesson for NON-creative / non-glamorous drummers is below your intellect, find a video that challenges you. The whole point of this video is to (hopefully) get to your level of fluidity and your creative genius.

Another "no nonsense" drum lesson, if it's anything like Stephen's "30 Days to 4-Way Rock Coordination” 30 minutes a day will get results...guaranteed!

My band plays a genre where most drummers play 4 piece and I always have to make sure to ask the venue in advance if they have 2 rack toms or if I have to bring my own because my brain shuts off if I have to play with only 1 rack tom.
