    How would I tune a 2004 mustang? With its stock ECU? I have a KTAG.. can I use that?

    any cam fault issues ?
    i’ve been having startup/idle issues
    talked to couple of tuner they say i shoudl swap the tock cam sensor to hall effect mmr sells it and it should sync with any stand alone ecu

    Hey man! So we have damn near an identical setup. My car hunts when it wants to it feels like, cold start i run around 15-16 which imo is way to lean. And at times it throws a code which absolutely destroys how the car runs almost feels like limp mode. But on 2nd startup it clears codes and goes back to normal 950 rpm im so confused and such a noob too at tuning. Just wondering if you got this dialed in and ironed out. (2000 mustang gt, fully built bottom end forged internals, stage 3 comp cams, vortech v2 sc kit)

    you are supposed get the AFR at 14.0 to 14.7/15.0 at idle you adjust idle ignition timing to fine tune the idle rpm. retard the idle timing at 800 to 900 rpm. adjust the throttle set screw or put a restrictor gasket on the idle air by pass if you need to. your cam is allowing the head to flow more air so you need to choke it at idle. you also have too much fuel at idle being at 11.5 to 12.0 AFR way too rich. you can also check if your wide band O2 is out of calibration. remove it test it with a soaked rag of fuel then open air to let it got to 18.

    Your idle is still high no matter what cam your running and your idle afr is your hunting idle get your afr 13.6 13.8 for idle my 2v has 278ah cams and idle at 720rpm no hunting for idle

      So you think I should set my idle ve table to around 13.6-13.8 then change my idle after that?

    It's running rough bc you have wot fueling at idle way to rich for idle 14s-15s idle and driving around wot is 11s
