The Occult Lore of Halo's Fracture: Entrenched Event

- The new Halo Infinite Fracture events have some very interesting and under appreciated lore attached to them. Not only that, but I think I am on to something with how these new Fracture universes are coming into being. Stay tuned to hear it all here first!
I wish they had a mini campaign for those events

@@kingdomofvinland8827 with what I’ve seen, there is no doubt these can be made in forge. I’ve never been much of a “forger” in halo, but I’m for sure going to try and bring the Entrenched universe to life

The Entrenched Universe actually made me come back to Halo. I became a WH40K fan, and these armor variants look like something from it. I like a more grittier look, instead of all the color. The cat ears and flashy lights effects make me want to have an aneurism.

I know people dislike Halo Infinite for a lot of reasons, most of which I do not agree with, but I'm glad this event seems to be pulling more people back into the franchise and the game. Good to see 343 also doing something new and letting the community tell their own stories as well.
Good video! I always thought something was weird about the Halo in the background of the art, knowing the Entrenched occurred mostly on Earth, and the idea that the destruction of Zeta caused this is a great idea! That and your explanation of the Entrenched lore is very interesting. Definitely my favorite armor core so far and hopefully I'm able to max out the pass.

Honestly the Armor designs from Entrenched are very much so taking inspiration from WW1, WW2 but especially other game franchises and anime franchise like Kerberos panzer Corps

They indeed do! Even the items in the battle pass and entrenched event pass all have lore attached to them
As I see it it could be that the halo tv show and the fracture events are all part of different time lines like the marvel multiverse. Perhaps they exist because of the precursors and is related to the concept of living time, or perhaps some of them are where the Endless won and triggered massive differences in events. I think there’s a potential to have fun explorations
Very interesting idea. I don’t see these “alternate timelines” as their own independent realities, but I think they are connected in some way. I made a previous video exploring the idea that Zeta halo’s original destruction caused these fractured timelines, but I like your theories too

honestly I would love to see more of the Entrenched at this point. Im already hooked on the art style and the story sound dope af, soldiers fighting a war thats already lost, mutant Covenant?! Amazing that Zeta halo caused all this, cant wait to see what shard comes next.
Not sure yet if I want these tied into the core canon or to just remain their own separate story shards, but they are super fascinating. I have a video out on the first shard, and can’t wait for the next
i originally thought it was just cool armors, but the lore is actually really cool, different universes coming together, i can wait till the Gundam fractured event

I didn't complete all of the event tiers when it was running, so I hope that at least sometime down the line they will do a rerun of the event so I can get the last items I'm missing. Sucks because I got some of the event rewards.

You are under rated man only 147 subscribers but your the only so channel focusing on the lore the other big halo channels are moving on and I don’t get it there channels are built now covering halo LORE but haven’t thank you for feeling a need that has gone unanswered I hope you see further success and keep at it I will be tuning in good production value too
Thank you for the kind words 🙏 but you are exactly right! The only reason I started doing the lore deep dives is because the bigger names out there aren’t, and that’s totally cool for them, but I love doing this. I’m not doing it because I want to be a content creator, I do it because it’s fun for me and I love halo lore.
As a near-fanatical fan of the Fallout series (An retro-futuristic video game series set in the post-apocalyptic wasteland of the former United States of America), the Entrenched Armor has immediately become my most favorite armor in the entire Halo series.
When I first saw the armor & read the lore for it, I was super hyped & began writing my own personal headcanon story for this alternate Halo timeline. And now I hear that there’s gonna be a new short playable storyline for this armor & universe, with the fanbase being able to contribute to its continuation? Well, let’s just say I’m definitely gonna start playing Halo Infinite again soon.

Really nice feedback, I super appreciate it. I love the entrenched lore and what they are doing with it. It’s just a fun “what if” series asking what things would be like in a post-apocalyptic halo universe and that’s fun to me. The new armor pieces for it are really well done as well. I can’t wait for the next story continuation
I was just thinking this week. Wondering if anyone has done lore for these fractured cores. The short description that 343 puts out of the history is unsatisfying haha.
I am very curious of what these story shards will be like.

I love the dedication to halo lore, I just wish we could get similar armors that don’t stray from the halo universe, like how EVA was basically inspired off of 60’s space helmets.

@@haloguy Halo is innovative, not a trend hopper. I don’t want halo to turn into some kind of multiverse marvel type thing, it’s already hard enough to know the basic universe, they shouldn’t add a whole ‘nother layer to it, it really screws with what’s established. But agree to disagree I guess, it’s not like I’m changing anything
@@ABrazilianDude totally get that, and nothing wrong with not wanting to add a “multiverse.” The only difference I see is the multiverse is just a fun “what if” thing and won’t effect the main canon. Like what if German scientists discovered how to combine the occult sciences with modern tech and make a super soldier program with it (as seen now in the entrenched universe)

Also are the cutscenes canon? (Academy, season 2 intro, the other 2 cutscenes in that other one off event early season 2)
Everything I refer to I try and base on “canon” to the best of my ability, even though this isn’t core canon but an alternate Halo reality. This information here is being published on 343’s Halo Waypoint website, as well as in the descriptions of the Entrenched armor pieces on Halo Infinite multiplayer.
@@mattb3043 to the best of my knowledge, yes, all the academy events and intros are canon, meaning our very own multiplayer Spartans are canonized
@@haloguy thanks. Last question, is the event 4 weeks or 5? Waypoint referred to "five recurrences" of the event but I can only find dates for 4 weeks.
@@mattb3043 I’m only aware of 4, and it ends on 22 august. The entrenched story is a 5 part story I believe though
