That's new to me. Im gonna try it today.
Thanks. It's useful!
thanks friend
Great stuff Scott thanks I struggle with jumping low notes
Try practicing that little exercise I did in the video. Go between a low Bb and a bis Bb. Your tongue should go from the ahhhhh position to the ayyyyy (like hay) position. Once you get the tongue movement down, those notes will pop out with no problem.
Problem solved. Thank you
Yeah, it's as simple as getting your tongue down.
Thank you Scott❤🙏🇳🇵
Thanks. great vid
Glad you enjoyed it
Totally TRUE ))))
Youre damn right 👍👍👍
You're the best
Top man
Your videos are always full of great information. Low notes seem to come naturally for me. It's that pesky F#6 that I have a hard time reaching and holding on my soprano sax.
High notes on the soprano usually take a little extra work. Keep a really firm embouchure and get your tongue up high in the eeeeeeeee position and that should help.
@@ScottPaddock Thanks! I'll keep that in mind as I start a practice session in about a half an hour.
cool
Can i buy your sax..😊
Hey Scott quick question for you man. What tip opening do you use for your mouthpieces?
On alto I use a Barkley Brazil Kustom Pop 7 blue. On tenor it’s a Syos Scott Paddock Artist Series 8.
Awesome thanks man
Can you spell ferp ?
FURP! 😎
I want to sound like Colin Stetson
