the biggest thing about building a work trailer is over-securing things. youll always say "that's not gonna go anywhere" however it will Infact go somewhere
I would hide a couple Air Tags inside the trailer, maybe even behind a permanent wall, you can remove the speaker in them too so others can't find them. Awesome trailer and with all that gear it would be an attractive target to steal.
Man, I’m always scared when I borrow my buddies trailer for a week and have to leave it detached in my driveway. This amount of gear will bring a lot of unwanted attention. Insurance and gps needed for sure
Definitely. I also hope he has invested in a good boot lock and tongue lock as well. Might not even be a bad idea to install a motion detection alarm inside incase anyone breaks in. Trailer walls are pretty easy to get through for a smash and grab.
The only thing I would do differently is to add a white LED rope light along the edges of the cabinets up top. Takes up virtually no overhead space and will give you light throughout the trailer. Other than that, sick as usual! 🤙
Awesome build. If you plan on working in and around the trailer, I think a worthwhile addition would be to install one of those automated awnings like you see on RV's. It'll help keep you out of the sun during hot summers
Sweet setup man! A couple comments: I would improve from the bungee system. Not only are bungees dangerous for heavy boxes, but also your method with the screws drilled into the top counter surface really impedes the functionality of the countertop. Wouldn't you rather have a clean countertop without the screwheads interfering with whatever you place down? Second thing: add undercabinet LED strip lighting for your countertops! You're gonna want that when the darker seasons come!
+ hide pocket holes on drawers, really hurting my eyes that he sprayed white cables with a different black than is everything else. There is no more outlets around the counter tops.
I liked the cabinets raw or with a clear coat. The black will show everything dirty as it does in video and also while dimming the hell out of your trailer. Love the storage, hope it works out well
You will change the trailer 3000 time before December. It is a great start and a lot better than I did at the beginning. Great video and good luck with your business
looks absolutely mint, might i suggest bed liner paint on the worktops, its hard wearing scratch and dent resistant, offers some grip aswell, easy to wipe down and clean, with tool boxes tools blades lengths of wood ect being put up and down on them daily, its a cost effective solution to keeping it looking crisp for a long time. and it could also be used on the ramp if the white gets to dirty as you can get more grippy versions
You should add a keurig or something like that!! Easy access to coffee on the morning of a job saves ya from pulling the trailer into a tight parking lot
Killer video as always, I'm excited to see what this build is leading towards! I totally relate to the frustration with those paint sprayers, feels like you keep getting kicked but as always you make it work. Wish you would've kept the footage in as that's always been a highlight with your work and the channel with showing all the unglamorous pitfalls in taking on projects, but nonetheless this was an astonishing build! I like how some of the carpentry is permanent with glue and screws but others appeared to be only screwed. Yes, less structurally sound but leaves the door open for future refinement and customization as you grow into the space and change your setup. I'd suggest a cleat system or some means of securing things in the open center space for odd objects or infrequently used tools that may be required on some jobs. Keep up the awesome work man, you're an inspiration to us all! Way to keep it real with the look cool be cool mentality by going with the black paint and led lights!
The things that caught my attention about this video specifically. Trailer size, having the 20 feet length for a start is a big winner and utilizing the extra 6 inches either side of the guards giving you the full 8'2" allowable width. Most people work within the guards/fenders, but you have utilized every bit of real estate available here. Also, not being a deck over keeps the floor low to the ground as well. Especially after a full day on site. Don't want to have to step or climb higher than you have to. Overall, an excellent build IMO and thanks for sharing.
Looks great. If you want to replace the bungie cords, screw an eye bolt in the top front edge of each cabinet, drill a hole in the floor, and run a metal rod in front of your pack outs. that way you wont have a screw on the work bench.
Congrats on the new workshop. Please be safe and make sure to take your batteries out of it during the summer months to avoid any potential combustion due to overheating.
It will be stuffy inside if you choose to work from inside. Or have temperature sensitive items within. You may need to install ventilation. Others I seen installed an a/c
Do you consider using the Ryobi wall system for the slots that you have for the pack out? Instead of using bungees, use those to keep it from moving. Just a thought. Looks great!
Great video! It will make your future projects less dependent on workshop space. You should attach a retractable canopy to the side or back to work in all weather conditions. And you definitely should wrap it in a Mr. Built It promo with your logo and YT link.
Do I need an ultimate workshop trailer? Nope. Did I watch the whole video anyways and wish I could have one? Yup! Great job man, always enjoy watching your process.
You should have put a cassette toilet, microwave and fridge in the front vee of the trailer. It's nice to have creature comforts, i'm going to put one in my work box truck soon :)
Some ideas I think I would like to propose: 1) Add a couple of legs to the ramp door to provide you with working deck for your table and/or miter saws, and it will also extend your floor space from inside the trailer out. 2) Add a 270 degree batwing awing for extra shade from the back to passenger side. It also could provide rain barrier when you run "shore power" extension cord to the trailer. 3) Add more lightings overhead that are LEDs. Those lights will sip from the power bank without being a drain. 4) Definitely consider upgrading to a beefier solar panel system. Eventually, you will likely want to add more power beyond the battery banks, lights, and maybe to run your saws. 5) Maybe switch from bungee cord to ratcheting rope system. Painting the ramp, I am surprised you didn't ask the paint counter if they were willing to tint the paint to your preference unless the manufacturer advises against it? I think you are going to wish you had splurge a little bit and got a taller trailer. Being 6'2" myself, there's simply no way I would have bought that trailer because that is the first thing I will look for - can I stand tall without having to awkwardly angle my neck? If no, then I'll move on. With all of that said, I think it's a neat idea and I have seen a camper van video with a trailer that is towed all the time with very neat set up.
Sick build brother . Could you do a review of how the Ryobi tools performed after all the work you put them through. I just want to make sure it’s good enough for a weekend warrior. Thank you and god bless you and your family.
Was thinking this as well. Bro lifts an entire garage roof and replaces all 4 walls, but is going to live with a work space he's gotta permanently duck in? Raise the roof
You should get rubber mats for the top of cabinets/shelving to protect the wood. Came out amazing! Consider a portable a/c for that bad boy considering all the power you're going to be stashing on the bank.
Amazing job. I love it. Im not sure if your trailer was perfectly leveled but laser level in unleveled trailer may not be precise 😂👊🏻 plumb and sq is all ya need Loved the video tho Great job
Remember that you cannot use levels and lasers in a trailer, as you don't know if the trailer itself is sitting level, so all the laser lines will not be square to the floor. In a trailer the floor is the thing to square from as it is the "laser level" inside
I'm a little surprised that you went with the custom laminate flooring. Being a "work" trailer personally I would have gone with a hard rubber mats. Something like Tractor Supply sells barns. Very heavy duty yet easy to walk on.
I would have done a epoxy flooring (garage type) with grit on the ramp. Left the cabinets just regular ply and poly them. In TX I would also insulate the top and put a ceiling with lights. I would think the black on the cabinets and cubbies will make it hard to find any small parts there without an external light (headlamp or flashlight). The older I get the harder it is to see! It would just be a bit lighter in the with a standard ply and gray floors. Don't forget to secure it with some trackers....definitely don't want to lose it. Also, proper insurance... maybe you could get policygenius as a sponsor ;-)
I’m a huge fan of a different brand and have my own opinion about ryobi but I love what you did with the trailer and would love to see you add ryobi green cupboard doors inside the trailer one it would keep it looking clean and would add some brightness and colour to that extremely dark work trailer
Your power station has a 12V output. Those LED lights are also 12V, so you just need to run wire to the light locations, and add a fusible link right at your power station. You can get fusible terminal strips that all of your lights can connect to, and then you connect a wire from that to your 12V output on the power station. Fused, serviceable, and legit. Those lights likely only pull 1-2A each, and I assume the 12V output on the power station is capable of 10-15A. The same goes for if you wanted to do LED under cabinet lights.
Nicely done my friend!! Also I've got a question, what's that Ryobi tool sitting on the workbench in the trailer. In the last seen it's sitting onyour right hand side. Or the viewers left hand side? Your said something about it, but im still not sure what it is?!?
the biggest thing about building a work trailer is over-securing things. youll always say "that's not gonna go anywhere" however it will Infact go somewhere

100% Agree with this.
Man, I’m always scared when I borrow my buddies trailer for a week and have to leave it detached in my driveway. This amount of gear will bring a lot of unwanted attention. Insurance and gps needed for sure
maybe he has add an airtag to it but he doesn’t show so nobody knows where is the airtag is hidden
Definitely. I also hope he has invested in a good boot lock and tongue lock as well. Might not even be a bad idea to install a motion detection alarm inside incase anyone breaks in. Trailer walls are pretty easy to get through for a smash and grab.
+p@@lamarbanks4565
He can and will do everything the hardest way possible every single time.
Nobody cares, he works harder lol
@@DGALVIN45 can’t fault his work ethic
The only thing I would do differently is to add a white LED rope light along the edges of the cabinets up top. Takes up virtually no overhead space and will give you light throughout the trailer. Other than that, sick as usual! 🤙
Came to say this same thing!
Came to say the same thing

How’d it go from you cussing out your paint sprayer to a finished trailer ? 😂 that’s the best part that you took out
I was thinking the same!
for the ceiling have you considered installing a mechanism that resembles a pop up camper just to save yourself from a lot of head bumps?
After watching this whole video my neck is hurting just seeing him tilt his head the entire time ! 😂😅
I luv reading your positive comment 👌this is what it's all about, he has a great attitude towards working hard because it will pay off 🌞
I like this concept, great job!

Gotta add a mini fridge comes in clutch for hot days. Also cool trailer build if it wasn’t all ryobi 😬
I know. I was thinking if someone showed up with riobi I wouldn’t hire them. 😂😂. He has a little fridge.
Not gonna lie, him saying it was the perfect size just as he bumps his head on the ceiling got me laughing lol
Killing me with the height!
If the paint doesn’t work out, I’d recommend using a spray/roll on truck bed liner for the ramp

That is a sweet mobile workshop! I’d add a security system just to be safe.
Looks great. If you want to replace the bungie cords, screw an eye bolt in the top front edge of each cabinet, drill a hole in the floor, and run a metal rod in front of your pack outs. that way you wont have a screw on the work bench.
I loved the idea of the Ultra work trailer and it was unbelievable amazing
Good job Alex I like the led signs
That looks amazing !! Great job !!
Had you decided to lay flooring last.. Lol
Genuine question, why not just mount some solar panels to the roof so you get a constant inflow of electricity?
Love the saying with the lights. I have one to “whatever it takes” need to get myself a neon sign made of that.
I like how your mobile work trailer is better organized than my sewing room. I'm working on it.
Love the organization
I was thinking about a plastic roof, like UPS trucks have, but see if it could be domed for some needed head room. Great job.
Congrats on the new workshop. Please be safe and make sure to take your batteries out of it during the summer months to avoid any potential combustion due to overheating.
You could run led strip lights on the ceiling to add more light but so far it looks amazing
Yes, as others have mentioned, don't forget security!
It will be stuffy inside if you choose to work from inside. Or have temperature sensitive items within. You may need to install ventilation. Others I seen installed an a/c
You should buy another trailer and do a tiny home conversion on this channel!
It’s always fun to watch you work! I learn so much, I’m a female that luv DIY as well!!
Couple of things:
You could use low profile led fixtures for lighting while you cut, etc.
Consider fixed solar panels that screw into the roof.
Do you consider using the Ryobi wall system for the slots that you have for the pack out? Instead of using bungees, use those to keep it from moving. Just a thought. Looks great!
I was hoping he'd unveil a great exterior wrap as well. Really brand the trailer!
I’d be adding an oak veneer worktop as the workbench, would really make the whole thing pop.
Awesome vid. Looks great!
hide like 4 tracker on the trailer!
Boats have a long history of prior art in securing stuff on shelves and in cabinets, and then in making it more accessible when at calm.
Trailer is awesome. Thanks for taking us along
Great video! It will make your future projects less dependent on workshop space. You should attach a retractable canopy to the side or back to work in all weather conditions. And you definitely should wrap it in a Mr. Built It promo with your logo and YT link.
love it , just label everything so anyone can find what they looking for
Hopefully you have good suspension on that trailer. Road vibrations going to do a number on all those screws over time.
Is anything truly not going anywhere if you don't slap it first?? Awesome build yet again!
Love your ideas when it comes to your projects
Could also put the Roll On Bed Liner. And it's black and with texture, so should help from slipping when wet.
This might be stupid overkill but LED Strip lights all around the inside of trailer sounds like a good idea 😅
I was referring to under cabinet lights and little battery powered light in the drawers 21:48
36:54 also what's the cost of the trailer and the Ryoby storage boxes, the screw nail boxes, basically the organizers and what not 😅
Do I need an ultimate workshop trailer? Nope. Did I watch the whole video anyways and wish I could have one? Yup! Great job man, always enjoy watching your process.
You should have put a cassette toilet, microwave and fridge in the front vee of the trailer. It's nice to have creature comforts, i'm going to put one in my work box truck soon :)
Chipboard oak worktop would finish the tops of the workbench off! Looks great though
I personally would make those doors like regular doors on your back of your trailer that way you can use that space as well
Some ideas I think I would like to propose: 1) Add a couple of legs to the ramp door to provide you with working deck for your table and/or miter saws, and it will also extend your floor space from inside the trailer out. 2) Add a 270 degree batwing awing for extra shade from the back to passenger side. Did you level the trailer before using the laser to level the bench?
Sick build brother . Could you do a review of how the Ryobi tools performed after all the work you put them through. I just want to make sure it’s good enough for a weekend warrior. Thank you and god bless you and your family.
Add some roof mounted solar panels and maybe an A/C unit.
That's what he said 😂😂 7:46
Would have been even better if you would have lifted the roof about a foot. I think you have the skills to have done it.
Was thinking this as well. Bro lifts an entire garage roof and replaces all 4 walls, but is going to live with a work space he's gotta permanently duck in? Raise the roof
plus add ventilation & light
keep the color light in shade so as to keep the whole trailer isn’t too dark.
You should get rubber mats for the top of cabinets/shelving to protect the wood. Came out amazing! Consider a portable a/c for that bad boy considering all the power you're going to be stashing on the bank.
Ever considered Line-x for the ramp? Could help with the traction and fit the aesthetic
I think you need more lights, maybe try those LED strip lights on the shelves
So organized! What are you going to tackle next?
This is awesome great job
Amazing job. I love it.
Im not sure if your trailer was perfectly leveled but laser level in unleveled trailer may not be precise 😂👊🏻 plumb and sq is all ya need
Loved the video tho
Great job
Super cool. Just finished the remodel video and was wondering where your tools went
You should add a pop-up tent
Definitely
You're the man dude. Keep living the dream!!!
Looks awesome man!! I’m always looking forward to all your videos…
Could I suggest something, maybe diamond plate countertops? 🤔
Give a thought about weight distribution while pulling the trailer. tongue weight vs. tail weight
Remember that you cannot use levels and lasers in a trailer, as you don't know if the trailer itself is sitting level, so all the laser lines will not be square to the floor. In a trailer the floor is the thing to square from as it is the "laser level" inside
Cargo nets brother! Will keep all those tools and storage bins in place. Plus, they’re black! Cool factor! 😎 lol love the build man, great job!
You could add a LED strip light along the top 2 rows and then you’ll have lighting throughout and great visibility
They don’t take hardly any power
Watching the episode, you're talking about heat stroke and I'm sitting here in Arizona and the temp finally got down to 113⁰F at 730pm! 😂
Now that’s a trailer! Love it!
Super cool! just wish you worn a respirator when spraying primer.
For real. Dude used to be a respiratory nurse and yet never uses PPE when doing dangerous stuff like that.
I'm a little surprised that you went with the custom laminate flooring. Being a "work" trailer personally I would have gone with a hard rubber mats. Something like Tractor Supply sells barns. Very heavy duty yet easy to walk on.
I hope you get a lot of good use out of your gorgeous work trailer 👍
I would have done a epoxy flooring (garage type) with grit on the ramp. Left the cabinets just regular ply and poly them. In TX I would also insulate the top and put a ceiling with lights. So you put on ppe for sanding outside but not for spraying paint inside?
Awesome!
32:31 paint the door with the white grip paint then paint whatever colour you wish on top?
that's clean!
I'm very interested in the solar panels you used. Could you possibly share the brand or link?
Nice work! How many sheets of ply do you think you used?

You should paint some of the trim the same color as the Ryobi neon green

Nice trailer build. If it was me I would of kept everything white or atleast rhe wallls. Do you plan on adding light bars on the inside?
How’d you go about screwing together those cabinets and are they sturdy? It looks like ur using pocket screws but without a guide?
I may have missed it. What species of wood did you use for the cabinets?
Nicely done my friend!! Also I've got a question, what's that Ryobi tool sitting on the workbench in the trailer. In the last seen it's sitting onyour right hand side. Or the viewers left hand side? Your said something about it, but im still not sure what it is?!?
Cappucino Machine!
Bro was so hype the whole time like he had a dead line
7hrs later picked my trailer out !!💪🥳
Black will make it extra hot and materials will spoil faster (paint, paint tapes etc). Can you paint the mobile wagon green plz 🙏🏼
Awesome job !!🎉
