One thing that really stands out relative to many UA-cam shop tour videos is the abundance of natural light. It must be very inspiring to walk into that shop when the morning light is pouring in through those floor to ceiling windows.
Now that's a workshop I could walk in and start any project. Stunning in so many ways. The feeling of comfort . This is my dream shop to. As I am in process of building new woodwork shop in next few months this couldn't of been better timed.. thank you for your invite and skills of both mind and hand. Jason. Boston,UK. Happy new year .
That is absolutely beautiful my friend and I love it. But, it always makes me remember my years working in Mexico, Nicaragua, Cuba and Colombia. I had furniture production facilities in Mexico and I worked with Carpenteros in other 3rd world areas. Their shops were so primitive and relied heavily on sharp chisels and plane irons. It's amazing what is produced by traditional craftsmen. Let us not forget to honor true craftsmen that will never afford such a luxurious shop.
Hi Dennis, I have to say, your woodworking shop is not just a workshop-it's a masterpiece. It's the most organized and beautiful space I've ever seen, and I know I'm not alone in thinking that. I have been an architect and woodworker for decades. So many have commented on the cleanliness and order of your workshop, but I don’t think anyone has asked the obvious question: What do you do when you're not in the shop? Your attention to detail and the aesthetic sense you bring to your space go far beyond what's typical. It’s clear that your workshop isn’t just about function; it’s about a thoughtful design that elevates the entire craft. You've taken Robert Pirsig’s notion of quality to a whole new level. Someone once said we all have the same 24 hours in a day, and I would add that we all have access to the same tools. But you’ve combined those hours and tools in a way that inspires everyone with the order, functionality, and beauty of your creations. Oh, and I should mention-you’re a pretty darn good teacher, too! So, tell us, what do you do when you’re not in the shop?
One, I will tell my story! But I am retired at this moment. That is where I find the time to do these videos. I was an entrepreneur for 25 years but sold my company 8 years back. This UA-cam channel was a great way to explore my creativity and I have to keep my mind busy with problem-solving issues.
We knew it would be good, your attention to detail is quite incredible!. It's easy to see you take pride in your workshop, it's a real pleasure to view, thank you for sharing it with us!
Wow, what a beautiful inspiring shop do you have! It comes not only down to the layout and great equipment. Also the environment with sight on natural resources (trees!) is so inspiring an just in line in with the great activity that woodworking is!
You did a swank job. You sure can tell you spent a lot of time and experience in your layout. I bet it’s a dream to work on projects with the custom layout you designed. Very nice and totally pro.
Great video. You have a sharp looking shop. I totally agree that it makes your shop more enjoyable when it’s clean and organized. And projects go smoother. I just finished up a project. I’ve known for a while that my shop is not efficient. But this project really highlighted it. I would have enjoyed it more, got it done quicker and done a better job if i was more organized and efficient. It’s a work in progress. I finished my project last night. And I spent about 20-30 minutes (like you said) and cleaned up afterwards. I don’t always do this. But man… when I went into the shop today it sure did inspire me to get started on the next project. It was a small quick project. So again I cleaned up after. It was so much more enjoyable to start with it clean rather than clean first… or worse… start in the chaos. Thanks for the tour!
since I started to watch your movies I start to dream about such workshop, previous one and more new one. It is future dream but for sure inspiration is something to keep. Thanks Denis once more for your perfect job, materials and help in "future vision" all what you are doing is so interesting for me and cannot wait for new episodes. Thanks one more all best
Hi Dennis You have the most fantastic workshop, everything is so well made and thought through. I’m so envy😃 Maybe you could make a video of, how you store your materials, both new and cut of. 🙏🏼
Hi Denis ! Amazing work place , so happy for you! My favorite, the drawers interior way to storage. The care and respect that you have for your tools is outstanding.
Its nice to see, how everything changes during the time. You now have reached a very high step in design and function and as always, your videos are very interesting and as usual, i find something to learn or to adapt for me. Thumps up - keep going. Best wishes from Cologne... P.S. Aaaaand - THANK YOU!!!
Al.ost scrolled by. The slats and black surfaces caught my eye. Now I could spend some time in there. A shop is great, but an eye-appealing shop is a dream
Wow! I have been looking for inspiration that matches my style as Im building out a studio and documenting the process. I think I have found that inspiration!
I have a desire to get into woodwork out of necessity so I can design and build an outdoor cooking area, under-stairs storage and create a tidy garage that also looks nice. Your workshop is simply Stunning whilst being highly efficient and practical simultaneously. Excellent job. You are an inspiration 😃👍. Thanks for sharing.
Great video! Regarding the Miter digital meter: your current solution looks great and I would love to have it. But it requires quite some redesign of the workbench top. For example, in small workshops one cannot afford to lose space with the lower section for the saw. Also, in small workshops one often has to move the miter saw to be able to make the cut for a larger piece. If possible, I think an attachment to saws like the Kapex would be awesome. I would definitely be a buyer.
Great vid on your workshop. Can you expound on the vertical slat wall system that you have? Maybe even do a video. So far, seems to be only one like this on youtube.
I would purchase your "point-zero" miter saw stop block if it becomes a product. I previously purchased your entire plan package but would also purchase plans for the drill press and miter saw cabinets if you offer them. I think the plans for the cabinets and the zero clearance miter saw fence would be great additions and would integrate well with the digital stop block.
Love your workshop, truly beautiful. I’d love to work with the black mdf but very very hard to find in New Zealand where I live. I’d be very keen on your digital stop block so please do create it!
The organization is amazing, both in terms of form and function. But it’s for a hobbyist, not a professional. Pro shops typically have so many large tools and abundance of paraphernalia (not to mention dust!) that it’s impossible to have your level of neatness. But your ideas are certainly inspirational. Congratulations!
I do this UA-cam not forever, but it made it easier to create my dream workshop that I can use till I am 80. You do not buy these machines only for today, but also for tomorrow
Hello Dennis, will you have plans for sale of your new miter station and drill press combo from your new shop? It looks amazing and I feel I need it in my life.
Congratulations! This workshop is next level in excellence. If the surgeons at the local hospital ever run out of space I'm sure they'd be interested in hiring your workshop.🙂
Awesome design, working on setting up my own shop and incorporating many of your designs/ ideas. Thanks for all you do!! You prove that a shop can be both functional and beautiful at the same time.
Kortom suggesties ?? Welkom. Thx.
The thing is that you don't only need money, space and time. You should have the passion for it, to create such space. Speaking for myself I know that even if I had the money, space and time to make such space, I wouldn't achieve such great level. I really like your shop. Good for you.
Hi Dennis, I am intrigued with the wall linings in this shop. Do you have a particular way of attaching things to it? For instance, do you screw into some kind of expanding nut that slides into the vertical groves between the upright slats, or to you just drill directly in to the wood?
Well done Dennis, I have followed this project since the start & have modelled my own workshop upon the very practical design you have put so much thought & experience into. Thank you
What an absolute stunning shop Denis. Im hoping to have a shop in the near future and definitely going to be rewatching many of your videos for inspiration on how to set it up. Thanks for sharing can’t wait to see part two
Thanks for sharing, Dennis. I've been watching your videos nearly from the start of your channel and I am so impressed with the level of care and thought you have put into your projects and your shop. You truly have a dream shop! Outstanding work! I'm excited to see what you do next now that you have 'completed' the space. I'm sure more refinements will occur along the way.
Hello Dennis, Amazing work! Absolutely love the design and layout! Are you considering a shop tour that highlights the machines you've added. Curious to know your thoughts on machine choice over other options/models such as the sliding table saw. Also very interested in why you chose the RL140 dust collector over other popular dust collection options from Oneida and others. I have been considering the Felder dust collector for awhile.
One thing that really stands out relative to many UA-cam shop tour videos is the abundance of natural light. It must be very inspiring to walk into that shop when the morning light is pouring in through those floor to ceiling windows.

I can't say enough how much I love your workshop and benches. It looks more like a laboratory than a workshop.

Hi Dennis, do you teach or give courses?
@@HookedonWoodVery inspiring Dennis. I’m in the process of building my workshop and you’ve set the bar really high to emulate.
You've built a truly beautiful workshop while keeping it functional. It is an inspiration to your viewers.
Your shop is INCREDIBLE ! I could only dream of a dedicated space like yours . Your creativity and thoughtful designs are AWESOME.
We knew it would be good, your attention to detail is quite incredible!. It's easy to see you take pride in your workshop, it's a real pleasure to view, thank you for sharing it with us!
This workshop is functional but also a work of art in its own respect. Major inspiration for my shop. Love this. Thank you for sharing.
Unbelievable clean, organized and super nice. Great job
Your workshop is a thing of beauty. Your attention to detail is outstanding 👌
Woodworkers' paradise is created :) Thank You for all of these inspirations...
Wow, what a beautiful inspiring shop do you have! It comes not only down to the layout and great equipment. Also the environment with sight on natural resources (trees!) is so inspiring an just in line in with the great activity that woodworking is!
Very nice shop and very nicely explained. One of the most satisfaying workshop tour I’ve ever seen!

Mooi gereedschap en materialen. Leuk om te zien dat zelfs de Action plek heeft bij jou, het geeft aan dat niet alles duur hoeft te zijn.
Amazing workshop! I believe it is a dream come true
your shop is gorgeous.. thank you for showing it off.
Your workshop and ideas are truly inspirational! Thank you for sharing it.
Really, really lovely, I aspire to one day build something as beautiful as this !
Have enjoyed for a while the numerous innovations you share for the workshop. This overview was very enjoyable, thanks Dennis!
Loving all of your videos and your shop is an absolute dream. You must spend a lot of time cleaning it!
Dennis, your shop is just fantastic.

Fabulous to see the workshop completed.
This is so neat and feature packed workshop. Congrats.

Drool-worthy! Incredible job
I love the idea of your miter stop block. I would be very interested in buying one should you bring it to market.
What an AMAZING money-no-object workshop - we eagerly look forward to the spectacular things you will make in it.
No such thing as a cheap workshop. Workshops are for people who have the drive to make an investment in the future of the craft.
Looks amazing, well done on how it turned out
Fair play to you
Your right, you must inspire plenty
Your workshop is incredible. I would love to see more about your slide fed table saw.
I think ultimately the clean workplace is a safe workplace, by-products of that well-organised space are efficiency and aesthetics. Wonderful job!
Hi Dennis
You have the most fantastic workshop, everything is so well made and thought through. I’m so envy😃
Maybe you could make a video of, how you store your materials, both new and cut of. 🙏🏼
Absolutely stunning Dennis! Im looking forward to watching this in full tonight with a cold beer.
Great idea👍 have a nice evening😊
Absolutely beautiful workshop.
Hi Dennis, your workshop must be the top 1 most beautiful workshop in the world 🏆

I love your workshop. Your attention to detail is amazing. Lots of great ideas, thanks for sharing Dennis.
Would really like to see the second part of the "Dream Workshop". Many thanks Dennis.
best workshop on youtube by far
I would consider the wood work studio. Love it
I'll buy the digi-stop block!
Great video! Regarding the Miter digital meter: your current solution looks great and I would love to have it. But it requires quite some redesign of the workbench top. Do you happen to have build plans for your miter saw station? Incredible workshop. Such an inspiration.
What a nice place you have! Can you tell me a litlle bit more of how you build your workbench! I like it very much!
Dennis, you put new meaning to function follows form! Outstanding in every way. The execution of your ideas is first class.
Very nice, like the walls
Holy smokes!!! This is the final boss ❤️
Great vid on your workshop. Can you expound on the vertical slat wall system that you have? Maybe even do a video. So far, seems to be only one like this on youtube.
And yes, I would buy your stop block system.
I would buy your stop block system!
Hi Dennis, nice shop. I'm interested is the mitre saw stop blocks.
This is the most impressive and inspiring workshop on this planet! Congrats, and thank you for sharing all the amazing tips. Best regards from Poland!
I would purchase your "point-zero" miter saw stop block if it becomes a product. It's an absolute work of art. Bravo.
Thank you Denis for the tour off your new workshop, really well designed 👌
I’d love to see more and get more Hooked on Wood products 😄
Great layout - excellent organization, and lots of inspiring ideas - thanks for sharing!
Very inspirational!
Very nice and well organised workshop 👏
Really beautiful and functional space. Looks great
Love your workshop, truly beautiful. I’d love to work with the black mdf but very very hard to find in New Zealand where I live.
I’d be very keen on your digital stop block so please do create it!
Dennis, your workshop, work space, is well thought out, especially for the big woodworking projects you do. Extremely well done.
Your shop is better than the one I did my apprenticeship in. Great work
The spiders in my garage would love to hang out on the lighted acrylic catching treats. Looks fabulous.
I to am building a workshop. Your work is totally Amazing. I am now a new subscriber. Thanks for your information.
I thought I had a well organised workshop until I saw this! Well done
Nice lighting 😊
Never finished, always evolving
I am blown away at your level of organization. Please, I would like to know your opinion about the Micro Jig slots in your table.
I love the organization, I’m curious to know what the black material is that you used to make your work bench tops?
I have the same question
Looks great Dennis. Thank you for the inspiration to make my shop neater and more organized.
Seing this workshop will give a shiver of excitement for every handyman with OCD. Dream setup!
You have an impressive business setup. You don't make anything but you do sell a lot of products.
I do this UA-cam not forever, but it made it easier to create my dream workshop that I can use till I am 80. You do not buy these machines only for today, but also for tomorrow

They are welcome😂
Awesome design, working on setting up my own shop and incorporating many of your designs/ ideas. Thanks for all you do!! You prove that a shop can be both functional and beautiful at the same time.
Thanks
Do you guys ever do anything in these "shops"?, always so clean.
You shop for me looks like an exhibition room for high end tools. Love it.
Kortom suggesties ?? Welkom. Thx.
Great Shop, congrats. 👌🏻
One can only dream of having such a lovely space one day ❤

7:46 I have the same felder work table. But my push lever no longer rebounds and I can’t figure out how to adjust it
Thanks for sharing, Dennis. You truly have a dream shop! Outstanding work! I'm excited to see what you do next now that you have 'completed' the space. I'm sure more refinements will occur along the way.
Will, there are some interesting things coming my way. I hope I can tell about it later😊
Hi Dennis, awesome workshop and like the videos. What is that black wood you’re using? Thank you
I love your workshop. Brilliantly executed as with everything that you do. Yes, I would like to see part 2 in depth view of the machinery.
I will create my new worshop coping your ideas. I am also very interested in your electronic device on your Capex
I would think you were a mechanical engineer in your other life, lol. Absolutely incredible shop!!
Your workshop is cleaner than my office. What a work of art.
