- In this video, my son and I bleed the brakes on my 1968 Ford F100. This is a simple process that takes very little time but requires two people to do. Keep an eye on your master cylinder to ensure you have sufficient brake fluid throughout this process. There are many different ways to tackle this job ( much cleaner ways) but I worked with what I had at the time. Thanks for watching! Like, comment, share, and subscribe 👍🏾
Always start with longest or beake line furthest from the master cylinder.
*Also its nice to use a hose in a clear bottle of fluid on bleeder valve. It captures old fluid and it will keep air from getting back in the system.
Just replaced the third member for my '70 and it's been hard to find a straight forward f100 video. This is pretty much the last of what I need to do before taking her out for a spin. Thank you for the help!
No problem, I hope everything turns out well. Thank you for watching!
We’ll i did my brakes at work away from my tools, first mistake. Had a 20 minute ride of pumping pedal. Live an learn
I remember doing this with my Dad, I'm having the same issue with my 78. Now. Thanks for the refresher course. I've forgotten some of the details. Keep it up.
Helps tremendously
Very clear, nice camera angles - thank you!
📹Great video. I have a '67 F100 and the brakes loose pressure when I shift from drive to reverse. It does regain pressure after I pump the pedal a couple of times, but it's scary. I almost hit a parked car while backing up into a parking spot at the local In-n-Out spot today. Fluid level is fine. 🤔
Great video! Nice and easy explanation 👍
Appreciate the video, have you made any other videos on this truck could use help
Amazing work my man 🍻 really does help out a lot. God bless
got it thanks
Nice video
Hey bud what bleeders did you get and did you have to do everything you did at the begging?
