For mutual funds, they do. Also, after being with them for 25 years, you're still shocked they are "behind the times" for implementing new features? I'd be shocked if they implement that before 2030!
I think Vanguard only does fractional shares for their own products, for example you can buy fractional shares of VOO but not SCHD? Correct me if I’m wrong but thats wild they still haven’t caught up yet.
@@JP_Dividends you can only do vanguard mutual funds no other ETFs or individual stocks I know they're always behind times but I thought eventually they would
You can buy fractional shares of Vanguard ETFs and mutual funds. Also, they now have auto investments for their ETFs (used to be for mutual funds only).
What we really want to know is how much $$$ is gonna get dumped into SCHD after the price drops…that may drive up the price. Are you buying more now or waiting?
I'm a little bothered by your "example" split prices. If you're going to use arbitrary numbers and round the results, why not use a share price that's divisible by 3, like $84(closer to the current price, even)?😂
Damn nah thats a fair point 😂😂haha I should have used $84 but the point is pretty simple so if anyone struggles with (share price divided by 3) and (# of shares multiplied by 3) they probably shouldn’t touch the stock market😂
SCHD doing SCHD things. That YoY dividend growth just keeps on giving!
Agreed! Gotta love it!
Short, sweet, and to the point. Keep up the good work
Thanks for the support!
Good job. Well explianed.
Thanks!

@JP_Dividends I can't confirm if they trade fractional Vanguard etfs, but I can confirm that's how their mutual funds are traded.

When i heard this news, I'm thinking, JP must be loving it, i bet he'll make a video about it. Lol. Dividend raises are always a plus!
Haha yep 100% gotta love the dividend raises!
What do we think the dividend will be in December? Around .27 to .28?
Yeah I think it will be somewhere between $.27-$0.28 like you’re thinking since that would be around 10% YoY growth which seems reasonable!

@@coachprof5666 True thats a fair point and I’m always buying SCHD regardless of the split or not!
Another benefit of the split is if you wanrt to do Call or Put options, you can do it with a smaller stake.
True those prices drop but I think SCHD doesn’t have any volume from what I’ve read online, could be wrong though.
@@JP_Dividends It's only monthly and it's pretty light. But I make a few bucks a month on the covered calls.
