- I thought I was content with my solar build I just uploaded, but wow this void build is maybe even more powerful. It wrecks all content I've tried with it so far, and it's a blast to use. If you're playing hunter this season, you really need to try this build!

SGA: ALL of the “font” mods share the same timer. It’s actually much better to go all in on fonts and slot two of the time dilation mods rather than use both fonts and kickstarts. For example on this exact build I use two void weapon fonts, one font of agility, one font of focus, one font of wisdom, two time dilations, and a few of the smaller cost mods to fill in the blanks. The only stat I have at max by default is resil but the first font of any stat type gives +30! Essentially I have max resil naturally, and when I pick up any orb, I get max discipline, intellect, and mobility for 18 seconds per orb from running two time dilations. The reason I don’t run kickstart is because it eats up all of your stacks of armor charge, with 100 mobility from font of agility and all of the breaches you’ll be picking up, dodge cd isn’t a problem. I don’t mean to undercut the build in the video, just wanted to give an alternative.
Edit: first mod is +30 not +50
People are sleeping on the font stat buffs big time
What is a font mod?
Thought the font mods gave 30 points for the first mod then the second mods give 20 points. 30 is still good mind you

collective obligation with this is really good and finally makes the gun worth the slot
Small update - On boots you don't need recuperation or better already - you get health from devour anyway. I was sleep deprived from grinding the new content lol. Also now that reaper is enabled again, I'd put that on my cloak instead of utility kickstart.

Hi, I just started playing destiny 2 back again right after it first came out. This is my first expansion, and to be honest I am a little lost, your videos helped a lot. But could you PLEASEEE make a video to show us what to do with all the old geaar? I dont know anymore what to keep, dismantle or infuse. Or even what's good and what's bad gear and weaopon wise.

So what would you take instead?
I know this video is old but I have a slightly better version if this regarding the void subclass itself:
1. In harder content, use the super where you fire one arrow which gives a very strong weaken debuff and has good range for both add clearing and boss damage
2. If you have the aspect where defeating volatile enemies drops a void breach, you don't need invisibility on finishers, just finish an enemy that has others around it to make them volatile, and if it hasn't happened already shoot the other enemies with volatile rounds void weapon of choice to make an explosion which makes you invisible
3. You can use the invis dodge for the extra fragment, or use the invis smoke bomb for team support and longer invis. You should be running gambler's dodge, so there is no difference to how quickly you get back your method of invisibility. Also, next season the invis smoke dodge will have another aspect slot (I probably got the word fragment and aspect in the wrong place)
Thank you for this build, it’s the first time I actually enjoyed playing as a hunter and didn’t feel like I was continually going to die. Amazing build. Keep them coming, will try the solar trip mine build when I finally get the gauntlets

The Story and difficulty of Lightfall, They weren't Lying when they said they would make it harder.
I personally haven't struggled with lightfall but I died in dares of eternity that never happens. I died in strikes like 5 times that's super rare for me. So some activities are way harder hitting than before. I died in new Lake of shadows all 3 of us did. I was like wtf
Bro i did it all on legend by myself with witherhoard and ikelos smg godroll, and this UA-camrs hunter solar build. I 100% recommend it, its so op

I'm loving the new mod system, especially with the removal of elemental affinities, and the introduction of loadout slots. The loadout slots even change shaders and ornaments, so you kinda only need 1-2 sets of armor now on each character to be pretty kitted. Gonna help de-clod inventories and vaults for sure.
All the qol changes are really good. Made things much easier and more fun
I did the whole lightfall legendary campaign solo with this build!
You need to try it with a different weapon though. Hollow Denial.
Lead from gold and repulsor brace. Always have special ammo and an overshield instead of relying on devour to survive. Makes you waaaay harder to kill. Perma overshield.
Started using Gyrfalcons last season and I loved it with my Gnawing Hunger. Thanks for the tips to make it even better! Gonna try this this weekend!

I've been using basically this setup for my Lightfall campaign run, Heros Burden and The Other Half with Repulsor Brace on it, different mod setup, but still enjoyable

Use a lead from gold, repulsor brace, hollow denial. Its by far the best primary for this build as you always get heavy drops for running double special and via the seasonal artifact
I know I’ll sound like I’m insane but I recommend ruinous effigy it’s the most fun I’ve had with a build in d2. Transfiguration spheres are literally nukes with volatile rounds

Void is just hot this season, especially if you grab the OP mods from artifact. I started legend campaign on my second character (titan) with a void MG, volatile flow, bricks from beyond, and void weapon channeling. Didn't even matter what the build was. Just spray and pray and steamroll everything
New void perk for weapons this season is also super good with it.
I’ve actually started running suppressor grenade to get use to it. It’s great for dealing with tormentors and will stun overload champions when they’re present.
Paired the build with collective obligation and can't wait to use it in GMs
Yeah the build I used to clear the campaign on legend was Gyrfalcon’s. Ran it with the devour and overshield fragments, Le Monarque (Unrelenting),as well as Better Already and Recuperation mods. As long as there was a red bar I just did not die. Everything I did game me shields or health back.
definitely recommend trying this build with ruinous effigy. ive been running it with a osmosis fatebringer and void machine gun for all of the campaign content.
My thoughts exactly! People still sleep on ruinous effigy.
Fav PvE weapon
I would recommend Wavesplitter or Ruinous Effigy with this build, it benefits greatly from the new increase drop rate of orbs and Ruinous orbs suppress enemies and count as a void weapon (meaning hits with them make enemies suppressed and volatile)

Great video for a returning player as myself. I was wondering really hard from where to get that armor as people suggest to me getin it. As you help a lot can you pint point me where i can get the Funnel web and what is the fast way to farm mods for armor and so on :) Ty and keep up with the great videos!
You can craft the Ikelos V3 Hand Cannon with repulsor brace and rapid hit , it works great with Gyrfalcons builds
My stock in hunter builds have gone up a lot last season and this season. Void hunters are better then ever and now I’m making a trip mine ability build because now trip mines can give health back
I use that one fragment where enemies explode on death, it's great for ad clear. But I switch it out for undermining in harder content.
Great vid, i would add the mod that gives you overshield when doing a finisher
came back after trying this build out and tbh, with the weapons/exotic armor i have it is INSANE. literally insane. im using a random primary weapon and as special im using fioritura-59 (i dont have a void submachine... this one is a void sidearm with auto fire that resets melee energy with each kill) and as heavy im using deterministic chaos (rohan quest) which, again, is insane with this build OMFG.. melee, dodge and grenade up all the time. also as i dont have the exotic chest im using graviton forfeit (exotic helmet that improves invis) which has been pretty fine too!
This is almost the same build that I used for the legend campaign. I use le monarch to really aoe the room with chunky damage. And the taipan still slaps for boss dps.
I enjoy your content sir, well done. I would say the arc punchy hunter using assassin cowl rivals this build. For sheer damage output it cant be beat solo. You delete yellow bars with combination blow stack 3 times. With the void invisibility to lose aggro after deleting a red bar.
I haven't played it yet, finishing Assassins Creed, the one that let's you cos play as Lord Shaxx. Seeing Shaxx double wielding spears while getting thorn orbs during a raid is a sentence I never thought I would write, but, it's a thing that's more fun then it needs to be. Can't wait to see what cheese is being abused in pvp tonight. Cheers dude.

The addition of creating void breaches makes this build even better than last season. Having practically infinite devour makes this build amazingly durable on top of the infinite invisibility it creates. If you really time it well, you can kill an enemy, pick up the void breach, reposition yourself, let the short void breach CD expire, and kill again to spawn another void breach. Rinse and repeat. It's still easy enough to just hold down the trigger and kill everything in sight for easier content, but if you need to play a more strategic style in harder content, this build is perfect for it.

I have been using this build all of last season and now as well. It works really well with Graviton Lance in all content.

@@Neon-Of-Ninja For real yea! Every crit in the head that spreads poison just get so useful with the volatiles rounds. But I can also see why you're running Gravtion Lance.
It was probably the luckiest drop of my life, but I got a decent Gyrfalon's from Terminal Overload on Neomuna.
But I thought it might be worth mentioning, because of the grind it usually takes. And because I was sure, it's only available in legendary lost sectors.

Amazing video, but have you tried ruinous effigy with this build? I ran this near exact build for the entire legendary campaign. For weapons I ran double special with ruinous effigy and retrofit escapade. Ruinous got updated and now the orb suppresses, and it also applies volatile from volatile rounds. So you go invis and pick up a ball and dunk it on enemies and immediately go invis. Makes it a lot safer to use in high level content
Edit: also wanted to add that dunking the ball on bosses and then invis dodging out makes ruinous effigy actually do great damage against beefy enemies
I use this with suppressor nades and collective obligation. Just apply weaken suppress and volatile to everything constantly and never having to reload either. Kinda strong.
i run this with the Duality SMG that get's repulsor brace; Void kills against debuffed enemies grant you an overshield, for even more sustain
Getting back into Destiny 2 since season 1 what should I main, I only use hand cannons :)
I use this same build, but definitely replace undermining with persistence. Then use the new void exotic machine gun. Crazy damage with the void surge mods, and every 4th bullet weakens enemies anyway. Then you don't have to lose -20 on your discipline.
Persistance isn't all that useful since you're constantly coming in and out of invisibility. When using the new exotic void LMG, I like the fragment that gives you an orb on precision kills on weakened targets. The fragment that makes targets explode works with volatile rounds too, allowing you to get double explosions on void weapon kills (only sometimes, bc the kill has the be with the volatile explosion.
@@liesiontheir In extremely hard content though, having devour and invis for longer, can be a big help to stay alive.

I love Two Tailed Fox with this build.
Been using a similar build with wave splitter and I’ve had nightfalls with 100-200 kills and only about 50 less orbs made
This is my main pve build, try with lorentz or le monarque, poison or suction stucks with volatile, for hige booms
I've been literally trying like a whole 4 months trying to get funnel web but literally haven't even gotten one do u suggest any other type void smg that would be good or at least decent to use?
Void is insane expeshaly with the extra mods this season.

You really don't need the dodge cooldown reductions if you manage your invis properly you're dodge will be up by the time you need it without fail. Gives a bit more point flex

Eh, I feel you don't really _need_ echo of obscurity because finishers can still proc stylish excecutioner if they're affected by a void debuff. I suppose it's a nice safety net, but it's not super important imo.
You can certainly run chest day if you want to... But you should never skip leg day.

Void still top tier especially with the artifact mods
So you probably know much more then I do. But one potential issue I see is using a yellow mod in combination with a blue mod. They work against each other with their requirements.
The yellow ones take all of your current armor charge.
The blue ones require you to have armor charge to work and they slowly drain over them.
And to be honest you don’t need utility kick start to get your doge back faster. It’s already going to come back pretty fast. That extra bump from running only one copy of it isn’t enough to justify it taking away your weapon damage buff. Would rather slot in an additional weapon buff to get more out of that.
Also worst case if you don’t have a dodge up remember when you use a finisher you will go invisible . Plus the additional benefits from the exotic armor for doing so.
And all you have to do is get a red bar a little weak and you are rolling again.
I would personally stay away from mixing the yellow and blue mods I think that’s where the “meta” is going to fall outside of some very specific builds maybe.
I think this one just lean into the void weapon damage maybe even running 3 of them. And keep the up time on that as much as possible by making armor charge last longer or gaining more armor charge per orb pick up. Or both. Anything else you can fit in is just a bonus if you can squeeze other stuff in.
The exotic armor will do everything else no need to overcomplicate it.
Add the LMG deterministic chaos and it’s like 100x more busted I generated 120 orbs on battlegrounds
I ran through legendary with gyrfalcon…than I had to pick up strand and die 15 times in a row.

New player here.. can anyone tell me what power level do i need to get to legendary lost sectors? I went and did a normal one for yersterday one but I could not start it on legendary....

Yeah this is the build i used throughout the entire Leggo campaign except for the last boss where i figured i should use strand since it was clearly designed specifically for strand with all the grapple points around the place for free traversal. Strand+assassin's cowl made the fight pretty trivial, and i was legit expecting a phase 3 after phase 2 was ACTUALLY a joke... to the point i was giggling and teasing calus whilst his fat lumbering ass chased me around and then i'd zip away like spiderman being chased by killer croc or something. He didn't touch me the entire fight and he died to a few witherhoard shots... it was just bizarre. With no tormentors and just some psions that i could tanglestrike for free health and invis if i wanted, phase 2 was just bafflingly easy... but anyway yeah the void gyrfalcon's funnelweb build made so much of the campaign super easy and the only times i actually died were when i was forced to use strand... as soon as my super ended each time i'd just get splatted. Gyrfalcon's is still BIS.
So we have to wait until we get 1830 power level then to farm it or is there a minimum light power to try to farm it on chest day?
You don't have to wait, I just beat it solo flawless a few hours ago at 1795 total without too much trouble using that solar build

the 900 rpm smg heros burden with repulsor brace + gyrfalcons made the legendary campaign a joke for me
Pairing this build with a repulsor brace weapon is so unfair. Literally infinite overshields
I came to say the same exact thing, I felt unkillable in the legendary campaign
I got it from Vex Strike Force.

Wait, why'd you skip the "volatile round on orb" artifact mod?
You don’t need it, you get volatile automatically from a few sources. But if you have a free artifact slot you can buy it if you really want

How is this build with legendary void trace rifles?
It works great with basically any void weapon
Its a little bit unforgivable to not use the picking orbs Grants Volatile Perk on Aspect, ++ picking up orbs grants devour on the subclass, with this build.
