Jesse with time comes experience, and learning how to manage our ever changing expectations of ourselves, of others, and how we see the future ahead, we all know that life has have lots of ups and downs so by learning how to communicate our feelings better in our day to day lives it gives us a feeling of impowerment, and helps to teaches us how to adjust to those constant unexpected changes and how to feel better about ourselves, it's a win, win for all!
I love that at the end you give credit to the horse without thinking about it. And, sponsored or no, that was a beautiful message you gave, simple and heartfelt, sitting there in the grass.
I think what most of us love the most is that Jesse and Matt are yin/yang in most aspects they show us. Both are very opposites in life, in their relationship and in their styles of horsemanship. It surely keeps me watching for more!
I love how after every jump, Matt's horse is like "I could do this at twice the speed! Do you wanna go faster? I wanna go faster! Are you sure you don't want me to speed up?""
The best show jumper I had was super slow BUT we still won and placed a lot because he had a very big stride and he was so balanced that he could make the tightest turns. He died a few years back from a colic. I miss him so much. We competed in 135 - 140 classes. He was such an awesome horse. ❤
@@StanCat4 Thank you…Yes, his death was very traumatic for me. He died at 18 after a lifetime of NEVER being sick or injured or whatever. He was a force of nature and the one time he got sick…he died. 😞
@@adventure7434 Thank you. He sure was a great horse. He’s the one in my profile pic with his goat friend. Dear Jesse, the sponsor introduction made you even more incredibly wonderful to me. Thank you on behalf of all the people that now will perhaps do the first step in the process of a therapy. I wish you and all your beloved ones a nice weekend with greetings from Germany 😘😘👍🌞🍀✌️💪
I am very proud that you talked freely about therapy. I agree that it's nice to have someone to talk to you can trust. Jesse , you're a very nice guy. You keep being you.
I love Jesse giving the credit to the horse. I had a teacher who always got on us if we started to get proud of ourselves, see if you can do the same course with a saddle on your back. We all knew what she meant.
This video checked all the boxes for me. It provides a glimpse of some of the many talents of Jesse and Matt in a friendly, competitive way. I love watching them ride together in the same video - very entertaining, especially with the cheeky change in music - and it's also educational! (Oh, and for me, a little profanity just adds to the realness and charm of the whole thing.)
It was fun seeing you both doing a jumping course. Your kindness towards the horses was so sweet and you both were willing to admit mistakes. Those qualities are rare and I wish that the todays professional riders would have at least half of what you showed. So many prefer to blame there own mistakes on their horses.
Lmaooo I was thinking the exact same 😂 I’m a dressage rider and have been jumping their height and more for the past few months in between dressage and I get told that ALL the time like Matt here 😂 Once dressage is instilled, it’s HARD to make your body do jumper like the jumpers hahaha
@@poppileepopp I kinda love the way our bodies just accustom to out horses their rhythms and movements! Have been riding a big pony with small movements for 1,5 years and I could cry when I hopped on a small horse with a BIG canter and in a jumpers saddle too...
Wow! Jesse you have grown so much and done so much and have really come a long way since I saw you last year. Good job with Gaio and the horse you were riding while jumping. You are amazing! Keep on going! You’re a winner!
So Fun! And funny! Really loved the juxtaposition of Jesse/slower horse and Matt/giddyUP horse 😂. Jesse, “i don’t know why this slow music is playing.” Lmao I really loved this side-by-side duel! All the best to you both.
As always so sweet to see their relationship grow Both you guys are so committed to you’re Amazing Horses and you’re adorable dogs Enjoy How honest and fun you are Look forward to many more💜🎄
Congratulations to both of you!!! 🙌Jesse, who used to jump, won the challenge but Matt jumped very well👏 Is it just an impression, Jesse's horse seems to be working in slow motion? 🤔 Jesse the intuitive rider and Matt the perfectionist. Two different and excellent riders. Their mutual encouragements and the lovely way they "confront" each other is very pleasant to watch.💖 Thanks to everyone involved in this video.
Guys this was so fun to watch I’m not a rider but I love the two of you and it really entertaining to watch you try different things separately or together You both looked like you had fun and that’s so important in today’s world Best wishes! ❤

Also, I appreciate Jesse talking so openly about his mental health struggles and the importance of seeking treatment. Raising awareness helps reduce the stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness and seeking treatment. As the saying goes “there is no health without mental health.”
I've seen videos of Jesse jumping and I know he is an expert. He didn't disappoint in this video. I thought Matt would struggle a bit, but he also jumped like a pro, albeit a bit too short on the reins in places.
@@NoThankUBeQuiet Yes, it IS necessary so that other riders might learn that the way Matt rode was wrong - his reins were too short, preventing his horse from stretching his neck forward over the jumps. This is hurtful to the horse, and dangerous.
@@pixie706 Pixie, I completely agree with you. Decades ago I used to love dressage for its beautiful, balanced, graceful movements - but as dressage has evolved, it has become TOO extreme in the bending of the head and neck, bringing the horse's face in behind the vertical. Too cruel, too unnatural. You are so right.
@cathynewyork7918 Matt is riding a hot horse, he was shortening his reins to keep contact and allow the horse to slow down so he didn't lose control. He did nothing wrong. All I see is a very competent rider, correctly slowing down a hot horse who would take him around the arena if he were to ever lose control.
Matt's hoise was an enthusiastic jumper,a little power house, Jessie seemed quite but achieved well, there you go Thought it was fun watching the mini COMPETITION.i would have liked to see Yassie ride Matt's horse, wondered if it would have been calmer but still all good❤
Brilliant video, really instructive. Matt did superbly in a discipline in which he doesn’t have massive experience compared to the elegant and more experienced Jesse. Well done both, you made it look effortless, when it's actually very tough. Loved Matt's recent polo video which I didn’t have time to comment on. The young man interviewed could have been Matt's relative, he looked so similar! Love watching polo, it's an exciting game of courage and skill. ❤❤
It's so cute how gave the calmer horse to the calmer person and the spicier onw to the spicier person😂 we usually match it the other way around because it makes the speed balanced 😂
Lovely horses, Matt you should buy him and change your discipline to show jumping, or if you bought both horses you and Jesse can be a competitive team and the take on the world of show jumping. Jesse... You have to wake the horse up! How fun would it be if you and Matt were racing each other!? Now it's just super slow and Mat's really fast... And also, it's a lotte annoying hearing you talk shit about yourself or saying you can't do things right or "fucking up your horse" 😂 you are waaay better than what you think and you are installing the reflex to talk down on yourself yourself whenever you don't do things perfect. It's really hard to get that thought pattern out when it's gotten in to you. You are the best Jesse, I mean look around yourself and here on YT, everyone loves you and really enjoys your way of doing things. Take it to heart I suggest, and glad you see a therapist 😂❤️ I do as well lol And those horses looked like a literal dream to ride 🤩
