Handy video Brandon! My excitement is for the next ios public release (ios 17.5). Anyone who is interested in any of Apple's upcoming events, I hope they have a great time either while being there or in some other way.
The modem firmware seems to have resolved the issue with the phone switching from 5G to LTE when travelling. This would often times cause the call to drop, and I have an area I can make it happen repeatedly for testing and this isn't happening any longer so that must have been corrected in the modem Firmware. I wish they would fix the phone badge so it would put the red dot to let you know there is a voicemail waiting rather than having to navigate to the voicemail screen in the Phone app itself. This is very frustrating having to check it frequently for missed calls / voicemails because it won't show it on the icon.
I love watching your beta update videos and would love to see you make videos on macOS, iPad and watchOS.

Nothing’s guaranteed to change in any point release. The big stuff is being saved for macOS 15/iOS 18/iPadOS 18 like the new calculator app and AI features.

Currently having an issue on both ios 17.5 beta 2 and 3 where imessage notifications do not show up on the lockscreen when in a focus mode. This also breaks them from showing up on my apple watch either (watchos 10.4). Very frustrating as I have no clue when I get a text.
If we download the RC version, when the public release comes out will we have the option to run that? I usually hold off the first couple betas on my 15pro max.

Has anybody seen the bug that when you go into a text message thread, the top left corner indicates you have 20 new messages. But when you go back to the main text message screen with all of your texts, that there are no new messages?
I still have a bug where I add a new song to a playlist & the order now jumps to the bottom when it would always be at the top… now I have to drag every song out of 4000 back to the top of my playlist 🤦🏻♂️
I had poor battery backup and heating issues on beta 2 with normal iPhone 15 that I had to go back to 17.4.1
What about problems with connecting to apple car play.
I’m not doing beta… stuff. Lol. But definitely noticed the Apple Music cellular download issue.
Also i have a huge playlist and I’ve noticed if I add songs to play next and back out, they disappear. Which is annoying.

I observe that the mutil-core score got progressively lessened by theese updates as we moved closer towards the release of the new devices.

hopefully 17.5 fixes the weather location & calendar bug on both the phone & the watch. also another thing does anyone have a fix or workaround for the album shuffle wallpapers getting butchered with all the wallpapers zoomed in

My iPhone 12 iOS 17.4.1, The bluetooth and Wi-Fi just grayed out for about two weeks now. I really hope It’s a software issue rather than hardware
I still have the issue my Bluetooth disable it’s self on this beta I’m on the IPhone 15 Pro turn it self on and off

Seems my Messages app notifications are weird now. Doesn't show sender's name just "Messages: New Message" essentially.
Idk if it’s just me but whenever I try to use Siri it just says something went wrong. Also talking to type doesn’t work
I’m curious if anyone else is having this problem…. When I start a listening to a playlist, album or radio and then send it to my HomePod Mini I eventually lose the controls on my iPhone. My wife has an iPhone 12 Pro and always has the controls on her screen, even when I started the music playing.

does anyone get Wi-Fi disconnected and changed to 4G as soon as the phone is locked? I have been getting this since beta 2 and updating to beta 3 didn't solve the problem. Other than that, I don't feel any notable differences from beta 2.

@@flash9 it's not like major updates have any major updates. Unless you consider the home icons and Apple Music tweaks the biggest tweaks in iOS history you should work for apple.

My back camera not working in iphone 11
and yeah, ever since the second beta of iOS/iPadOS 17 and watchOS 10, the app widgets no longer able to reflect the language settings selected individually for each of them. Say my system language is English, and I’d like my weather app in Japanese, before it would be perfectly fine displaying Japanese weather widget under English system, but not any more after the second beta - all the widgets are now only displayed in system language.
And the accidental max volume in earphones bug. Painful. Playing music, then locking the screen - and if you change volume quickly, the volume level will instantly go to max. Three years now, and still no fix.
Shortcuts are broken since 17.0 now. I really hope they fix it. Some apps don‘t work anymore. Lots of timeouts and errors with more complex shortcuts, airplane mode syncing not possible via shortcuts. It all worked once and they broke everything.
that will be the main feature of iOS 21 - the fix of shortcuts.

They still haven’t fixed edit bug on large clocks on standby mode. Still broken since 17.4.
That's been broken since 17.0 beta 3. Only fix is to do a factory reset unfortunately...

I believe there’s a bug that hasn’t been addressed by anyone since, I don’t know, for a century long - Spotlight dictionaries search, which often cannot show all the possible results, especially when you’re having multiple dictionaries in different languages, and they tend to wrongly displayed in each other’s titles e.g. search an English word, shows up only one Japanese result with Standard Chinese dictionary title 😅 and when you tap it to check details, it says “contents unavailable”

Why the hell would they take away the stopwatch feature.
Like asking Siri to start a screen recording in 16.5 beta 1, this feature was in 17.4 betas but then pulled before release and hasn’t come back since.

Sometimes seettings won't open, sometimes clock widget disappears, and that bug in files app when whole phone can get stuck while opening downloads foleders!

They need to fix standby mode
that is rumored to be the biggest feature in iOS 20.7 in a few years. The fix will include the removal of standby mode entirely.
For some reason, the messages app shows that I have one unread message even though I don’t have any unread messages I am on iOS 17 not 4.1 is anyone else experiencing this?
