@@novadon4729 lmao just because YOU will be watching it doesn't mean others won't. Keep your simple minded Fandroid opinions to yourself. You can look his views by most popular and tell me how many are android based
One thing a lot of people don't realize is you can set your own image for an android contact then share that with nearby share, Which means you can effectively do the same thing except android can also use UWB for nearby share. The way the image shows depends on the dialer app though, could be a small image or could be full screen
You're skipping the main point though. Airdrop is twice as fast as "nearby share". Android failed in performance benchmarking when compared to Apple. Also it isn't about "Android can also do it" Does it look half as good? Apple creates an "experience", android sells a "feature" Big difference. The animations during the "name drop" and "airdrop" feels "ALIVE" and more intuitive. It's awesome to see and experience. Anyone can make a feature but can they make the feature look good and feel good? Apple wins that game. There is a reason why every Ui/Ux designer out there (myself included) follows Apple's motion, interaction and visual principles like a bible. It's because they are built based on heavy R & D and user research. Android can never come close to beating Apple when it comes to its usability functions which is why Apple feels more intuitive and "smooth" compared to Android

@@ẞooßys be careful it completely screwed up my iPhone 11. No wallpapers will show, lock screen still shows Home Screen icons, glitches constantly, animations are slow, standby doesn't work. I have to go back to iOS 16.
I don’t think I ever felt this excited back when I was using Android and we got a new update. Now that I switched to iPhone I genuinely love the new stuff being added, be it as useful or as niche they might be :’3

Thank you! I love how you approached the new features and explain them I’ve been testing iOS 17 as well and I have to admit it’s one of the best data updates even with the bugs. This was a treat to watch!
When using voice typing. The video in the background still goes on which I don't know if that's supposed to be that way or a bug, but something that I've noticed that didn't happen before. :)
Thanks again for your great review 😊

iOS 17 packs a punch and looks awesome!
Every single year iOS rumors are downplayed and then when they come out Tech UA-camrs say this is the biggest update ever lol
Those sticker effects looked SUPER realistic, can’t wait to use them!
I liked the way stickers were easily made on iOS 16, a hold, drag and drop effortlessly with one finger holding the sticker and another to navigate, but it's just a small sticker with no customization. Now I'm glad to see that it's been drastically improved on iOS 17
2:49 in Samsung u can even apply videos
3:25 Arun's Pre wedding shoot photo purposely leaked...
I actually switched to an iPhone recently, and I'm absolutely mind-blown by it
Please do an Android 14 video too
I agree we need to see more updates with dynamic island. I wanna see what more the technology can do. That’s a main reason we bought 14 pro max.
the 15 is going to have the dynamic island on all the models
Fully agree! Would love to see iMessage and notifications come through the dynamic island and you can click on the island to read or respond to a message. After all, live activities already interacts with the island through a sports app!?
Siri was already randomly calling people with “hey siri”, imagine the maniac now 😂
Nice! You and marques Brownlee reviewing FETURES of ios 17!yay!
4:11 Android beam many years ago, lol
and those who'll say apple did it better.
people rejected beam, saying it's not useful for them. so they discontinue or by now, this tech would have been way better
I’ve watched at least twenty videos on the new features in iOS. This is the first one that’s hit the highlights in a way that makes it relevant to me. Thanks!
💯
4:00 - Wooo.. This reminds me of - *Android Beam* - from _2011_ ... I guess google has an excuse now to Kick start this feature back again after seeing iOS get it in 2023! 👌😎
But like it was discontinued
@@Generic_Noob it was because of *Nearby share* which is superior than NFC beam from 2011
@@shadzscape and nearby share was released in 2020 and was basically google’s airdrop, released in *2011*
Finally these are the best upgrades Apple has ever done 🎉🎉🎉
The fact that I’ve already watched all of these somewhere else but still sat down 12 minutes to watch yours makes me realize such an amazing job you’re doing. Keep up the good work ❤❤❤
Just the way you're still going to watch several more and drop same comment.
It's about time Siri gets smart.
3:41 Had me dying of laughter 😂😂
I just came across your video and channel. I must say this was my favourite video to watch on a iOS hands on. You have such a way of engaging a viewer with your voice, edits, and overall feel of a video. Thank you for this!
i love how one of his first comments on it was that you can do multiple timers at once, my android 11 phone can do that :)
also cool vid!
@philadlamini5386 dang, i wasn't hating or anything it's really cool just saying its funny how alot of the things apple adds to their phones have been on android phones for several years
Bro I'm just using Android 11 . I can't have majority of the features
@philadlamini5386 i definitely agree that by the time apple adds features to iphones it is frequently better
@jeevar2446 i never said that they were not cool or that i did not want them, i was just saying that many iphone features are implemented several years after android phontes get them.
Yes i felt it hard when he said “biggest update yet” like what is big ?? These all minor refreshments
And I’m 13 pro user btw no new icons control center animations nothing is new except contacts which for now doesn’t work half the time
As an iOS fan, I still want to know what’s going on in android land. Make the video! Please!
Sadly it does seem that arun has become rather apple biased as of late.
The coolest thing for me is the phone number transferring when the phones touch, with the synced contacts feature. iMessage UI is clean too 👌
Everyone is talking about the features but I’m still thinking about that milo shocked sticker at the end
Would love to see the different android versions to. Maybe even a comparison between Nothing OS, One UI etc. That should be incredibly interesting.
There’s no real differences 😂😂 he’s going to make a video saying “on nothing OS the button looks like this, but on one UI it looks slightly different”😂😂
@@toptiertech7291do you have any idea of the overloaded features in one ui? And customizations in other androids?
And I'm sure you don't even know about good lock then
@@haardikkhanna What does one UI have that OxygenOS doesnt? different aesthetics and slight customization differences? No ones watching that video 😂😂 That's why he doesn't talk about the different android OS as it is when reviewing phones
@@toptiertech7291u won't be watching that video. Doesn't mean others won't. Save your childish iSheep mentality to yourself

Gotta love having 90% of these features for years on my s23 ultra 😂
Yes but if we really needed them they would have already been implemented. Apple doesn’t just introduce random features out of nowhere. They wait for the right time in society or just convenience
I can tell you android guys just like to blindly hate on anything iPhone. Most likely because your insecure or something as im not sure how you could have these features for “years” on a phone that just came out in 2023.
