Linda what a pleasure to see you again!!! I was having a not so great weekend, and I started my Amish Friendship Breads for the Holidays and I found you!!! What a wonderful treasure!!! Thank you for a great distraction!!!!
Oh my goodness, you have made TREMENDOUS progress in the gardens. I love the rock walls and am so happy they’re more visible. Your energy is endless and I’m envious. Much respect!!!
I love your videos, Linda. I just sat down to relax a bit and enjoyed every second of it. You looked so pretty with you hat on. The gardens and the inside of your home are so very pretty. Congrats 🎊 on your booth. TFS! 🧡🍁🐿🌾🍂
Linda - You looked lovely in your fascinator & pretty clothing, that color is very complimentary to you! I could almost smell the aroma of the blueberry bread & lit candle.🤗
Welcome back, Linda. We live in the woods in a reproduction saltbox with a stone wall of about 150 feet. We have kept it visible from the front and carefully planted on the back side so that the wall is the star of the show. To say I love that wall is an understatement. Gas fireplaces are the best. In the summer, mine has a fire board that I painted to conceal the firebox when it is not used. Come late Sept. the fireboard is put away and the dancing flames take it's place. Love love love your series.
I’ve been a fan for several years and this is my first comment. I was so pleased that you shared those little moments when you spied the curious chipmunk and also that sweet sleepy bumblebee!❤ Those moments are, I’m my humble opinion, what gardening is all about. Keep up the great videos Linda!
When something needs a long bake time you can try lower temp especially in dark pans. Also, when a greater amount of blueberries are used, you may need the full amount of baking powder for it to rise appropriately. Fruit always decreases the rise. I bet a little lemon zest would be good in there too. Missed you and was so glad to hear nothing fortuitous occurred to prevent a video.
The garden looks so much more cohesive! I'm sure its been arduous. You have great energy and I love that you are a fellow New England kindred spirit.Your shop looks amazing.
Oh Linda, " Not like I've been skipping around or anything...." Love it! That's me all over! This video was wonderful! I enjoy browsing around your garden with you. It is just lovely! Be well
Linda, I'm so glad you don't "work"! My goodness, you are really super busy! But I'm so glad you're back with updates of all that's going on and the future projects. It will be beautiful when it's finally done. Take good care of yourself and I'm looking forward to the next video!
I am always talking to myself, and answering back, as I live alone with my dog, and do not see humans much! You have such a beautiful house and gardens. I love your wide wooden floorboards. All your work you have started, and not finished yet, will so suddenly all come together, and you will be soooo happy. I love all your bits and bobs, and your decor in your lovely home. Love seeing your dry stone walls in the garden, with your lovely shrubs in front. xxx
Linda I get having the fireplace… we have put a gas fireplace in our living room here in Loudon NH. We don’t need it for heat, it is back up actually for our geothermal, but the point is; if I could do over again I would put in the smallest “BTU” propane fireplace I could find in. Why? Because even on the lowest setting this baby can drive us out of the room in 30 minutes. Low settings and small BTU is the key! Best of luck, love your channel ❤️
Dear Linda, I really like how you have given definition to the garden. The wall is so much more visible. It truly adds to the beauty. And your chipmunk friend, I'm sure appreciates the openness and freedom of movement. Everything is looking so lovely. Hugs💞
This was just what I needed today. You have definitely been busy. Hope you will bring us along again soon. Love your videos. They are always so well done and I always learn something.
Your bedroom ceiling looks so nice and bright painted white. I like your window shutters also. Wish I had your energy, you have gotten so much done. Always a joy to see your gardens. Those little bumblebees do work hard for us.
So glad to see you….you have been missed! Lots of activities so see why you have been MIA. Would love to see your shop now too. Things are looking so nice.
You’ve been busy! Love your retail store set up. I was happy to see Crane paper products, I worked for them for 10 years. They originally made paper for Paul Revere. Your energy inspires me!
Your garden is lovely. You can tell you have done a lot of work! I like seeing more of the stone walls. Looking forward to seeing all of your remodels.
Your garden beds look beautiful. So happy for you opening the shop..also a beautiful space, looks so charming and quaint. Looking forward to seeing your visions for your home coming to life.
Linda, the gardens look wonderful, can't believe how much you have accomplished. Wish you all the best with your store and all the other projects you have going. You are such a shaker and a mover! Looking forward to seeing the end results.
I’m so excited that your shop is open! My husband and I will be stopping in Peterborough on Sunday as we drive to Maine. I look forward to seeing your beautiful finds!
You have accomplished so much since last video. ..I love the stone wall and the gardens. Your store room is laid out really nice seems bigger than it probably is. Looking forward to the next visit 🙌💖
Linda you have been working your heart out! Everything will look great, remodeling is always a work in progress. Once you add your special touches, it will be amazing! You looked amazing for the Derby Party. I have missed you, but I know you have been so busy. Much love, Joyce P. From Misssouri
So busy Linda! You sure got a lot accomplished. Willow looks all healed up too. The retail space looks wonderful and the gardens are looking great. Loved the 🐿️! I can see why you mixed up baking soda with baking powder. I've never seen baking soda in such a container. Loved your fancy outfit too.
That garden is a lot of work but so worth it. Love the exposed rock wall. The quick snippet of Willow was too short! Ha. Glad she's doing well. You have a lot going on! Fall is around the corner. I wonder what decorations you'll decide on. Thanks for your creativity and lovely home.
Lovely video. Your gardens are looking so much better. Lots of hard work, I know. But worth it. Have you ever tried grating your cold butter into a bread or muffin mixture? Makes it so much easier. Give it a try. It’s a great tip I recently learned. Too bad about the baking soda…all that effort. Oh well, it could be worse.
You are working your magic again Linda. Your yard is looking great. I love the idea of the stone walls showing more. I live in Massachusetts so I’d love to take a ride to see your shop. Beautiful time in New England....Autumn.🍁🍁🍁🍁
Awwww....In the South, we just say "Bless your heart", when someone does something, dare I say, dumb. We have all been there! :) So enjoyed your vlog today and yesterday. Just had to watch it twice and then come back again for a comment. You, and your Ben, are so industrious! You inspire me to get off my backside and get to work on many projects that have been put on the back burner but need to be done. That Yankee ingenuity, grit and hard work get things done! Love from GA
I love the flower beds with the wood chips!! I have a tree service that has huge piles of wood chips for free, you inspired me! Love the little chipmunk 🐿
Hi Linda: Such a nice surprise to meet you today in Peterborough. You are as genuine in person as on screen. Only wished I had bought more. Have a great vacation with your family including Willow Cheryl Walker Rye NH
A great ICU area for the zombie plants, lol I love that stone wall!!! You have some interesting items in your shop. Wish I lived closer! I'm definitely going to make the bread, thanks for sharing recipe! Beautiful home!
Linda, I love your videos and have missed you. Wow, what progress you’ve made in the gardens! Loved when you said “the washing machine was plugged into the dryer for power..interesting I’ve never seen that before.” 😂😊 Also, your outfit for “the ball” was very pretty. Good luck with your retail shop!
You have accomplished so much in your garden! Looking fabulous. I need to get out in my garden, and do some clean up. The bugs have kept me in! I have totally put soda, instead of baking powder in biscuit s before. Now you will always check!
What a delightfully varied video. Thank you Linda. Your shop is amazing- I wish I could visit as I briefly spied a small naive painting propped on shelving I’d love to own. Bit far to come from Australia though.
Thank you so much for your video, Linda. I loved seeing what you’ve been up to! What a treat to see you making your new house YOUR home step by step! So glad I can come along as a fellow kindred spirit. 😁💕 God Bless!!
I so enjoyed catching up with you and seeing what you’re doing as a new season begins. It was wonderful catching a glimpse of Willow playing with Ben. It looks like she’s doing much better now.
Kindred Spirit! I so wanted to jump in and help you reduce that recipe to 1/3 to keep those blueberries the star of that quick bread! Your videos are a joy and a lovely addition to every day I get to watch. Best wishes on all your projects and ventures. Ben, you've got a keeper. (And so has she!)
Good to see you Linda. This was a wonderful video. The garden is really shaping up nicely and I LOVE the exposed stone wall. You’re doing such a great job. The cakes looked very good 🫐. So nice you had the chance to get all gussied up for the party 😁. Best of luck in your shop. I know it’ll be amazing. 🧡🍁🧡
Linda, your hard work and diligence is paying off. Everything is looking great both at home and in the shop! Look forward to seeing more and the Blueberry Bread recipe couldn't be more on time My boyfriend has been asking for some moffins or bread!
Hi Linda, you quiet? Never! While I have missed seeing you, I know how busy you must be!! So excited about the fireplace insert! The gardens are looking amazing I love being able to see the walls!!! I love your little shoppe!!! Chipmunk? Can you say Cinderella?? Excited to follow along on you journey! Have a beautiful day! :)

Hello Linda, I have missed not seeing you or making things. My wish has been granted. The gardens look great with so much removed. The stone wall so nice. I lit my apple orchard candle last night. The washer and dryer look nice. I need to purchase a new washing machine. How is Willow? Tell Ben hello. Good luck with all of the projects. You have been a busy lady for sure! Love your new FP insert, can’t wait to see it completed and your tavern! The brick wall you are revealing with trimmed back plants looks so pretty! Wish I could visit your store ! You look pretty in blue! 👍
Were you ever able to find the special outside lightbulbs for the garage (?) and front door that look like flickering candles? Think I just saw them on a house on Mackinaw Island.....
Hi Linda. You have your gardens looking fantastic, and that is very hard work! I asked professional landscapers here in Florida what they use to block weeds: they use commercial grade cardboard. Like what appliances, mattresses, furniture comes in. I've been using it for 2 years now and it really works!
I will never, ever help my husband move a washer and dryer again. Of course, things always happen to me because I ended up fracturing my foot! I was so mad at him, so no, never again. So when you nearly smashed your fingers, I couldn't help to think of my foot which has never been the same again. Arrrghhh..... I can't wait to try the blueberry bread, looks delicious!
I love your style and just don’t worry about the negative comments. Just use your good taste and do what makes you happy.

Mr chipmunk!! You’re adorable !!

Linda, please tell me you have some help with your yard projects. I had four acres that required so much work for me. I am feeling a little inadequate right now. Love the idea of your shop. Love your videos.

So when you nearly smashed your fingers, I couldn't help to think of my foot which has never been the same again. Arrrghhh..... I can't wait to try the blueberry bread, looks delicious!
I love your style and I will be up to visit your shop soon! You have done beautifully in your garden!
