  • Margaret Cho is an American stand-up comedian, actress, musician, fashion designer, and author. She is a proud Korean American who from her beginnings has discussed social and political problems, often regarding race and sexuality. I met Margaret years back in San Francisco and it was immediately clear to me that she was one special stand-up.
Margaret is an actual legend. She has always been an advocate for the Asian community, the LGBTQ+ community, and basically all good humans. Margaret is a strong, loving, and charming person. This makes her performance skills as a comedian and actress even more accessible and wonderful.
She has many great acting projects coming up. This week, on January 14th, she stars along with Paris Jackson in the premiere of the Hulu movie "Sex Appeal". She’ll also be guest starring in "The Flight Attendant," for three episodes, which stars Kaley Cuoco & Rosie Perez. (Damn, I love that show.) She’s also going to be seen co-starring in Hulu's movie, "Fire Island" with Bowen Yang & Joel Kim Booster later in the summer of 2022.
Her stand-up career is also stronger than ever-You owe it to yourself to see her on tour-And she has some really cool significant dates coming up soon, like playing The Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles on May 6 and The Greek Theatre on May 7th as part of the Netflix Is a Joke Comedy Festival.
Margaret has such a unique voice and has been a strong personal influence in the careers of Ken Jeong and Bowen Yang. After listening to this, you’ll feel the same way I do… You want to be friends with the extraordinary and legendary Margaret Cho.

I never got into Bob's comedy (apart from his HBO special in the mid 2000s) but I always liked his energy bc he didn't sound like a comedian who had any ounce of hatred in him. His jokes were often dirty/ dark which sharply contrasted w/ his Full House and America's Funniest Home Videos image which was even cooler. It's sad that he died unexpectedly. R.I.P Bob.

I wish I had gotten to meet the man and tell him thanks for everything he's done in my life. I grew up watching his AFV episodes religiously on VHS and catching it on Sunday nights. Even if his jokes went over my head, I loved his jokes on the show. Those tapes also helped me get through some tough times when I was a kid. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes just a few weeks after turning 6. My parents brought in the tapes and I watched them while dealing with something new and painful. They continued getting me through tough times until the tapes were lost.
I didn't watch Full House until college, and that rekindled my love for him. I also listened to his stand-up during that time, and it helped me get through tough episodes of depression. It's been almost two weeks since his passing, and I'm still crying thinking about it. He was like a member of the family that I could rely on to help me feel better. I may have responded to something he posted on Twitter, but I doubt he saw it. I only wish he knew how much he helped me in life and how his sense of humor made me the person I became. Thanks for everything, Bob.

I was born in 1987 and pretty much grew up with Full House -- I would probably call it one of my favorite shows just because of how much it meant to me as a child. I quote and reference it daily, I introduced my nieces to it, and even chaperoned my eldest niece to SF for her birthday, one of her goals for the trip being to see The House. I grew up in a broken family with parents who had their own demons to compete with and the Tanners were just kind of the family I never had. They loved each other, they were THERE for each other, and Danny Tanner will remain one of the great TV dads. I have followed Bob for years, since, from AFV to Raising Dad to HIMYM and his appearances all over. I followed his comedy, still consider his specials among some of my favorite just because I too have a filthy sense of humor. All you ever hear about is what a great guy Bob is, how nice he is, what a great friend and father he is and it's just such a fucking lose for the universe as a whole. He always just seemed like a genuinely nice guy and the world really can't afford to lose those. I've always loved his friendship with Dave Coulier and John Stamos (and the rest of the cast) and actually found myself TALKING about this, telling someone how happy it makes my heart knowing they're all still friends, no more than 15 minutes before we learned he'd passed away. I'm still absolutely heartbroken. I'm heartbroken for the people who knew him, for his family, for their tremendous loss. He was just one of a fuckin' kind and I am so thankful as a fan that he was so willing to give so much of himself (this podcast, performing in the time of COVID, etc.) before he passed. We've already lost so much this year, man. Rest in peace, Bob.

R I P. You legend. When I first watched full house i was hooked. It’s hard to believe he was only on the amazing last season of fuller house not even 2 years ago. Your truly the king of television.

25:09 he mentions the day after he left us and then mentions the 14th, which was his funeral :(

I wonder if Margaret went to his funeral that day. Would have been a bittersweet date for her if so: the premier of her new show but funeral for him :(

Bob was the most person to have been so delighted with a kind heat and he will never stop his is also gonna be by your side and never leave but even thought he is gone his legacy with go on, it is devastating about the news but to all like he has said "Bob Saget is here for you.."

Has someone uploaded this on Bob’s behalf? It almost seems as if he’s still with us 😔 I always looked forward to his podcasts every time. Started listening on Apple then I switched to UA-cam because I wanted to see his reactions and his kind smile while he spoke to his guests. RIP Bob, you are so deeply missed 💔
