I said exactly that on Twitter because when Norm died, Bob did a special edition of his podcast, and that was how I found out he did a podcast. So I've listened to a few of them, the Norm tribute, Bill Burr, Gilbert Gottfried... and now suddenly Bob has gone too! 😢
His Half Baked role is my favorite cameo of all time. The layers of it all and Bob Saget doing it and looking crushed as he slumps back into his chair pondering his addiction before the room turns on Chappelle. It is funny every single time. I will miss you Bob. RIP

I grew up in San Francisco during the 90’s. You have no idea how many times I heard a kid diss another by saying “I’m tight like Brian McKnight. You a f@&&@+ like Bob Saget.” (Even in SF proper, people especially kids were quite homophobic then.)

People that like dirty, controversial comedy love him. In other words. Everyone loves Saget. And everyone knows everyone loves Saget.
I met Bob about a week and a half before this interview aired in Kona Hawaii outside of Roy’s restaurant. I mentioned to him that is the best quote of all time. He said something to effect will always wear that one. We had a good 10 min convo while waiting for our car rides. Could tell was a genuine and good person. Knowing how Saget really was made me realize how great of an actor he was. He made us all believe for years that he was this clean, corney, tie wearing goof. Enormous talent.
I was front row at one of his last shows. We locked eyes for a moment as his euphonious comical wit filled my ears. After the show I think we all became little bit better versions of ourselves just for being in his presence. I will always remember how he made me feel.

I really appreciate Team Coco uploading these old spots with legendary guests who have passed away (saget, norm, heath ledger etc) but it also makes you kind of sad to realise they were taken too early and were never able to gift the world with more of their creativity. Life is so precious and we're so lucky to be exposed to people who can enrich our lives through laughter or drama or music. I don't really know if I have a point here, I've just been going through some videos and I feel oddly content, yet sad.
Aside from Johnny Carson, I'd say Conan is probably the most prolific late night host - which is interesting because it took a while for his show to gain steam and then there was the whole Leno debacle. He is without a doubt a national treasure.

I used to watch AFV with my uncle when I was a kid. He was a raging alcoholic and moved with us and terrified me a lot, but when he was sober we were best friends, he would always be sober for AFV. Thanks Bob

An absolutely gracious person and thoughtful. So sorry he's gone. Of the dozens I've met, I'll always remember him as one of if the nicest celebrities.

I hated Full House. It was horrible. Later realized how smart and genuinely funny Saget is. My loss for paying attention earlier. He's carrying a ton of love with him. He'll make the journey fine. Safe journey Bob. Don't worry if they don't get your stuff at first. They might not be as smart.

I rewatched "Dirty Work" when Norm passed because I always liked it growing up. Now Saget has passed on too. These last two years have really sucked.

I like many others grew up watching full house and America’s funniest home videos. And I was in high school when half baked came out. So this line will always be a hilarious nostalgic memory. Thank you Bob you were the best!

I hated Full House. It was horrible. Later realized how smart and genuinely funny Saget is. My loss for paying attention earlier. He's carrying a ton of love with him. He'll make the journey fine. Safe journey Bob. Don't worry if they don't get your stuff at first. They might not be as smart.

I grew up watching Bob every night damn near for years... whether it was Full House or AFHV. Very sad to hear the news. RIP.
