An easy way to turn reopen chance into the effective "more boxes" is via the geometric series: for x reopen chance (as decimal < 1), the effective more box modifier is 1/(1-x)
How different would this be if we remove the expensive scarab? Yes i know it will be less boxes per map but for example if you cant kill a boss and you dont get multi div dupes per map this is not sustainable to run,overall nice strat for gamba jackpot,i like boxes,just was wondering if you tried it with lower invest strat on t17 as well not on t16 Also what is that kill counter on your right? and how to get it :D

The investments is very Low 1xDiv for the map 22c for Scarabs (1x Escalation, 4x Risk), Normal Chisels, ~10c rerolling for 100% Map, 4c Map device Cost = 1.3xDiv per map Profit is 3xDiv from Maps + ~1xDiv drops Map time for me is about 3-4 minutes Investment = 20Div/h, Total is 52xDiv/h , So PROFIT = ~30-32xDiv/h The tedious part is selling the maps with Regex

Just so you know, theres a maximum amount of strongboxes you can spawn in a given map. t17s have very low amounts of tiles that can spawn league mechanics surprisingly. Containment alone sometimes doesn't even spawn all of the boxes it should. So just be weary you might not get the full value of the basic ambush scarabs. 3x ambush + containment should yield 51 boxes before map device, but it does not.
Interesting. Don't feel like that happened along the way, but yeah, makes sense. There's a lot of that in tight maps like Jungle Valley, so a narrow hallway map (which all t17's are) would probably also experience the same issues.

Working on a high-end update! As for regex, it's up to you. The only 100%-cannot-do mod is Monsters Cannot Be Leeched, but you probably also want to dodge Monsters Avoid Ele Ailments and Reduced Block Chance, as well.
Since the maven's chisel adds from the baseline and not multiplicative to your current extra currency, you should rather use it on maps with very high pack size or regular quant. That way you get more bang for your buck.
@@PathofEvening Just to further elaborate: If we look at 4 examples, and assume baseline 100 currency drops: Map 1: 100% quant (Normal chissel), 40% pack size, 180% more currency: 100x2x1.4x2.8 = 784 Map 2: Same as Map 1 with 20% currency chissel: 100x1.8x1.4x3 = 756 Map 3: 190% quant(Normal chissel) 60% pack size, 120% currency: 100x2.9x1.6x2.2=1020 Map 4: Same as Map 2 with 20% currency chissel: 100x2.7x1.6x2.4=1036
@@PathofEvening Redviles has tested abyss and it's good. I've tested it as well and can confirm it's good. You have to roll your maps to at least 179% currency and 115% quant or 200% currency and 100% quant. Then use maven currency chisels + deli orb. Nothing suspicious about it, you just get a lot of chaos, divs, and valdo's. Have to do ziggurat though as apparently it gives you more hoards. You NEED to have the caster mastery though that opens chests because if you don't, you probably won't last like 5 maps from clicking all the hoards and picking up the loot. Cheap to run but takes longer per map
@@jonjones8827 It is also a bit harder. But at least its not boxes. Well, different boxes. I was getting on average 2 raw div/ valdo per map and 1 key per 10 maps. Its does take longer if you fish for altars. Boxes are nice since you can double dip on big drops (like locks). You can run some boxes with abyss to get both (caster mastery is nice qol for boxes also). Highest map I had had almost 700% currency (336% roll) and 300 quant after all modifiers, droped 5 raw div, 4 valdo and a key (maybe there are some threshholds, need to look into more).

@Xtenz01 no, they don't, that's why he was saying he only uses them on high currency rolls. Not sure if it's worth it w the loss to quant, but might run some high currency roll maps and see how it feels. Had my first mb drop doing this strat, so hard to pull away from quant 😅😵
You can feed the math to GPT (or do it yourself if you're feeling like it) and it'll give the break even point at which the reopen chance is more valuable than adding boxes, there's also a Reddit post with the calculations done from a year or so ago

So on that basis, would blocking as many league mechanics as possible be essential in maximizing strongbox spawns?

After testing this and abyss hoards for raw currency farming they seem to be almost identical. Only abyss scarabs cost nothing.

Is there a limit on how high % can roll? I have maps with 250-290% scarab drops and/or 240% currency drops. Is that just pure rng?
No artificial limit. You're only able to get 8 mods, so there's some potential ceiling, but nothing hard-coded.
Any chance u could do a t17 map drop farm strat? Dropping t17 maps atm for me is like 1 in 5 maps (8 modded with some cart scarbs)
