Lots of very useful information in the video. Another extra powerful thing you can do to make tower drop 4 waystone everytime is by picking up all the tower modifiers at the top of your atlas tree and juice all the towers with waystone drop chance. It can boost your your 500% waystone drop rate to 1200% drop rate.
Snooebae made a video recently where it seemed to be the case that you need 1200%+ waystone drop chance for 4 fragments to drop. So a very high % waystone drop chance on waystone itself, that 25% more effect of suffix atlas passive to proc, other atlas nodes etc.
Great content as always. I stumbled onto your channel i believe during necropolis league and you pretty fast became one of my favourite PoE content creators out there. There was so much stuff people complained about in that league and you were just providing great infos and content about the game despite the fact that everyone was crying on reddit. (Same as now in PoE2 lol). I love your enthusiasm for the game. No bullshit, no drama just valuable information. Also i love how you explain things i really like the way you do it. Keep it up you deserve much more recignition and subs ❤
Some other YT mentioned that it seems that the pre-requisite for your map to generate a citadel is: - 1 citadel spawn per 25 maps cleared - They're always in the fog of war So if you've cleared 100 maps or so, once you explore a fog of war area it is likely to contain 4 citadels.
Same story all the time, when citadels start spawning people find a lot of them. There just have to be a "Milestone" we don't know about yet, before they start spawning. Likely in ungenerated areas, with you won't find around the starting point. As you explore it's not hard to see where the towers "End". Aka. if those areas was generated before you found the first citadel, I think it's unlikely you will find any citadels there before you push the fog of war beyond the previously visible towers.
You'd probably still want to go 600%+ though if you can instaphase boss as whether you get 3 or 4 guaranteed will be pure rng whether unstable energies proc, but to keep some odds to still get 4 if they don't...
I honestly beleive that clearing the corruption gives you more citadels.when you clear corruption it seems that the new zones you open (those without towers you see in the mist) contain citadels.
9:24 Oh shit, I run every mods I got, the worst was +Light and Cold dmg and elem pen and I was sweating my shit white mobs were scary but breach went smooth
Gonna go hard in one direction from here on, I'd been circling out Also subbed because of the left joke that I hope is only half joke lmao. I'm loving the game but I'm glad to have some guidance on this. I was gonna spend tonight and my day off grinding new characters but now I think I'm gonna focus hard on finding one of these. I am gonna head right, and not because if politics hahaha
how does this compare to breach+anoint deli? planning to switch over to this farming method, breach+anoint deli still feels best but the fps drops is really annoying
Video: “this is what gamer voodoo looks like, beware” Comments: “yes but what about THIS gamer voodoo!?” Alright I’ll bite and give mine, but it matches your observations: they seem to become more common the further you go from origin point? Might that not be another way this system is like delve, just in 3D? The further away you go from the start, the better the spawn rates for “specialty” biomes?
My tinfoil at the moment is that doing low tier towers is causing "low tier generation" and depending on how low tier the map generating towers are may exclude citadel spawns.
@@spotLV If you skip towers, only doing lets say t7 maps maybe it'd never spawn. The idea is that when the fog expands, that is what is "generating" the layouts, whether that be far into the fog or the immediate map spawns. Who knows lol, but feels like there has to be something that causes such a significant amount of players not to find them very often, and seeing as you can't find them early that is my tinfoil.
While on your Atlas if you hit escape at the same moment you're scrolling out. It will kick you out of the atlas. But when you go back in, you'll be zoomed out about 25 to 50% more than the normal. Sometimes it takes a try or two to get it. But once you get it, it'll stay like that for quite a while. Even multiple Atlas visits. It's very helpful
Is the citadel related to different bosses? Because I'm literally only on tier 3 maps and my first citadel or labyrinth looking towered place was really not that far. From the start it was like Southeast no no, it was a little Northeast of the start. There was like a two towers next to each other and after I did the second tower it was unveiled and it told me it was going to be like hard to do but I can't do it yet. And I don't see any nodes leading to the entrance. Do I just have to do the notes surrounding it? Am I missing something?? Also for my passing I realized after my first Tower that the towers reveal the area around them so you can see a bigger area. I just go to the towers if I don't find any of the notes interesting. I go straight to the next Tower that I can see to unveil even more nodes
You might have gotten lucky on the first citadel being close. They're definitely not tied to map tier, they just appear more often as you move further out!
I have to admit that the citadels are extremely disappointing. Especially because a) the game doesn't tell you that and b) it seems to run directly counter to the way the game encourages you to use the atlas with the towers and overlapping bonuses. I'm not even remotely close to being 10+ screens away from the start. I could make a beeline for that, but it just feels bad.
At this point I have completely stopped doing maps, the on death explosion with 1 portal is no fun also no loot if you haven't juced with towers, it's just too much work for very low reward for what limited time I have. I'm just doing the trials and farming soulcore and unique relics
This game was never for you. Ggg made a game they enjoy playing. Endless grind massive depth. This is there perfect experiment they just share it with everyone. And not getting great rewards is def a knowledge issue. Yes your character is literally incapable of generating massive amounts of currency but don’t act like for a second it’s the same experience for people who do research. If you did any research at all you would know this. Enjoy Diablo 4 man. Dying all the time? You literally know how your dying and continue to stand where mobs die LOL
You get some drops with non juiced maps and it scales well with mods and gear. I also like the punishment, it's funny to me a community that is thought of as try hard where you'll see advice like 'get good' and people complain about the punishment if they fail. Idk why so many arpg folks think they should be able to zoom zoom murder death kill without having to pay attention (they complain about on death affects too) and then if they screw up there should be zero punishment. Personally I love that deaths matter. I like being pushed to focus and care about the game I'm playing. I really hope this doesn't change because of the early complaints.
@@jpVariThis is such a classic I like hamburgers, oh so you hate hotdogs reply. He didn't say death should not matter or that he dislikes difficulty. Most people agree that the issue is the implementation.
My gamer voodoo is telling me the corpses matter somehow. They arent consistent on our screens but the layouts are always different. What is "west" or "north" on the tower as opposed to the atlas map? I swear if I see an extra decayed corpse covered with a cloth (like a sign of reverance) I'm close to something cool.
Sadly Is kinda anti productive / efficient to just go straight , Since juicing is not via a straight but in a circle :( guess citadel is just to rush but not to farm map :(
Well, yeah, they are! But also, yeah, they've said that getting search functionality for the endgame atlas is a high priority. Considering they've only been working on the endgame for the past six months, this feels like a miracle that it's even this functional.
Just food for thought, you said the corpses on the towers then pointed to regular towers but that method only ever applied to the corpses on top of corrupted towers.
ggg litteraly said the new atlas is kinda delve, or leans towards the principal of it. and citadels seems to be delve bosses, they CAN spawn near depth 0 but most likely they don´t... biomes are also in delve too everything seems so. it was so funny everyone searching for theories for spawning citadels , everyone forgot about the delve setting or why dont rreally understand ...... naj whatever seems now most people understand ^^
It's a PoE 1 mechanic. You dig down into an infinite mine, and once you go deep enough, there are bosses EVERYWHERE. That's pretty much how PoE 2's mapping system works, too.
