  • Discover the intriguing stories behind select artifacts displayed in the Russian History Museum’s new exhibition “Mysteries and Odysseys.”
    Michael Perekrestov, the museum’s Executive Director and exhibition’s curator, shares some of the surprising recent revelations about objects in the museum’s collection and their circuitous journeys to the Russian History Museum. Unfolding against the dramatic backdrop of the tumultuous 20th century, the stories in this presentation will feature a varied cast of characters, from Nicholas II to Walt Disney, from an American heiress to a stuffed toy monkey.

    The moment I saw the eyes, name Vasnetsov came to my mind. And that was at the beginning of video.

    Olga,the tsars sister,her husband and children,relocated to Canada.Her sister passed in England,a guest of her cousin ,the king,who could have saved this family but denied them asylum.their mother Tsarist Marie,passed in Denmark.RIP.ANGELS🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🛐🙏☦️🙌😇🧖

    Another fact,Nicholas Romanov was not in truth the last tsar.He was forced to abdicate ,on board the royal train.the plan allegedly,was that his son Alexei would be taken,and placed.due to hemophilia,Nicholas refused.his Brother was then given the office,but was shot by the reds,along with his valet.😢🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺it was called THE CATHERINE PALACE UNTIL THE REVOLUTION
