TURF MOOR | Control Room Demolition

A piece of Turf Moor history was reduced to rubble today, as the brick-built control room was demolished.
The former Police Box, situated in the corner of the stadium between the Bob Lord and Jimmy McIlroy Stands, has been torn down as part of the new Accessible Stadium plan to uplift facilities for disabled supporters.

When the new scoreboard goes up, will it count down the added time after each half? I certainly hope so, but no ground seems to do that and I don’t know why. If 3 minutes of stoppage time is added, then the clock should count down accordingly, instead, it just stays at 3 minutes and then 5 minutes or more seems to be played. Teams like Arsenal get to take advantage of this and it shouldn’t be allowed to continue! Rant over. 😏
