Great footage, and many thanks for the update. Cheers 🍾🥂
Thanks Gary much appreciated, 19years it was nice to get down to the ground after the lousy weather with rain and strong winds. Cheers🍻👍
Awesome, cheers Nick
Thanks Steve, it's Stephen SS Skies😂👍
Thanks great vid and happy anniversary
Thanks Christine much appreciated, just had a lovely meal and good to see the stadium after the last few days of bad weather. Cheers🍻👍
It actually looks exactly like the plans from 4 years ago
Happy anniversary mate. Thanks to your missus for letting you out. Looks like there’s been some kind of fuel spill in the dock and our channel. Those expansion joints are really starting to grind at me now.
Thanks Alan much appreciated 👍, I was itching to get down to see any change after the rubbish weather. Cheers👍
Seen a video on Twitter of water cascading. Down the steps during heavy rain yesterday
Filter?
Didn’t Laing orouke say handover was in November? Or did I make that up?
Completion 11th November mate👍
@@SS_Skies not long and still a bit to do
Yes mate, but I can see it being done, sometimes they were ahead of schedule. I can't wait to do a night flight when all lights are on, ambient lighting and see the scoreboards lit up at night too.
I don't think it will be officially handed over until December at least. It will take them a few weeks to do all the snags & tests on a site this size.
The stadium will still not be complete after hand over , the internal fit and Everton way is everton’s responsibility sub contractors will do the final fit out.
Are the dugout seats the padded high back ones?
Yes they are Alan, they are similar to ricarro seats.
@@SS_Skies do you think they’ll have the crest on the back🤷♂️
They didn't on the tour I had, but its not to say they couldn't be added, or possibly a sponsors name on the seats. They were really padded though. Cheers🍻👍
@alanmarch1958 I got told they've been left blank like the seats in the stands for when they get a sponsor. Still surprised they haven't added an everton badge though and then a sponsor underneath at a later date.
@@SS_Skies I’m a bit disappointed if I’m honest there doesn’t seem to be much said about bringing our wonderful history with us like the holy trinity, it’s all well and good having a magnificent brand new stadium but no one’s got our history it’s the one thing I’ve learnt being a toffee since 1968👍
Still loads of leaks on the expansion joints doesn't look good, ?
It's embarrassing really.
Is there - where's that news come from ?
@@paulhewitt6614 ; why embarrassing? It's par for the course on new builds and there's plenty of time to rectify any issues.
@@williamwatson228exactly
They’re still building the stadium. It isn’t finished yet. Only embarrassing if it leaks during an actual league game next year, but it won’t
Sorry but of all the things to complain about, people calling out provision for wheelchair users is just horrible. Quite aside from it probably being a requirement of today’s DDA regulations for stadia, in whose world are disabled Evertonians less Evertonian than anyone else? The provision at Goodison is pretty poor - although improved in recent years - and from what I gather, there is lots of demand for tickets. Sigh. Happy anniversary 🎉
Thank you Steve just had a lovely meal, there are a lot of places for disabled and wheelchair access, but that is what makes Everton the people club it includes all people. Watching the match could be the highlight of someone's week and what better stadium to see it in. Cheers🍻👍
Another wheelchair activist 😂
Yawn
Seems a bit ott for the disabled seats.will these be filled every game?
They cud of left the south stand alone.shame
South stands for the disabled ultras
Yeah, they should stop being lazy and just walk in like everyone else.
OTT ? What like the Park End, Bullens Rd, Main Stand & Street End ?
Totally agree. 💯
All you ever do is moan mate but moaning about the amount of disabled seats is a new low 👍
