If a pain doc don’t prescribe opioids, I’m walking out. You’ve already wasted days if not weeks, set up appointments everywhere you can until you find a doc that’s actually going to prescribe pain medicine. I was given anti depressants and anti convulsants when I was in excruciating pain and was in and out of mental hospitals never being listened to, I have 0 respect for pain doctors who don’t prescribe pain medicine. Oh yea, and the shots can make your pain a lot worse.
