Miss my days of being in my garage with my buds working on cars trucks or bikes, you brought back some great memories. You saved a lot of money doing that work yourself, it does look great. BIG shout out to Doc, Tim, Joel, Matt, Chuck and Daryl.
People saying "why don't your ride the Indian" AND the people who say "why don't you ride the RG" in Challenger vids are missing the point. Yes, I prefer Indian, I don't hide that, but the man has a RG, and a Challenger in his garage? Adam is living the dream as far as I'm concerned!
Nice set of bars! Great to see Doc and the gang there! How’s Freddie doing? I hope he had a successful recovery! Thanks for all you do for our veterans! Ride safe and take care of yourself, Miss Ashley and Scooter!
Great how to video , but it always helps when you have good people hanging out with you to help pass the time. thanks for the video Keep up the good work that you do
dude I have been riding for 40 some years rode with some great mechanics, I am 65 years old and I am just learning how to work on the old shovelheads I had a "47" indian for 16 years. let's put it this way I have faked looking good on and knowing how to work on them , alway come up with extra nuts and bolts
And for our next video, Chuckie and I will be customizing the new Kubota lol. Garage hangs are some of the best times. Bars look good brother, hope you get to enjoy them soon!
It is good to see some aftermarket parts showing up on the market for the Indian motorcycles! I've been thinking about trading in my FXR and Chieftain for the Challenger. Those T-bars look great on your bike!
I'll wait to replace mine until I get to Moyers OK since I know some professional installers 🤣. I'm digging them T bars looking sweet. Good stuff brother. God Bless
If it comes apart without breaking, it will go back together. The one big issue people don't like putting custom handlebars on their bike themselves is the wiring. I'll never understand why. Just learn to solder and follow color code and easy peasy.
Getting my mid-rise bars, heated grips and heel shifter installed on my 20 Chieftain DH right now. Can't wait to pick it up out of winter storage and hit the road!
Hell yer brother. Sorry for the late reply. Only just saw this notification. I look all most of my advice off UA-cam. You can find the answer to everything. Keep safe bro
Looks good ,so you say its a pretty easy job thats when you have a few buddies around to help, hmmmm its tedious work to say the least but you got it done and I'm ready to see the bike on the road .btw the exhaust sounds great
Awesome video Adam!!!! Love to see you and your buds putting in the work on that Brautiful Indian Chaenger 👍 Most people wouldn't put in the time and effort , they'd just pay the dealership to do it 👎 Brother , I'm loving that Indian!!!! Wish I could afford one 😁 Really enjoyed this video 😊 Ride safe , and enjoy them bar's and the fruits of your labor!!!
The bars you took off would be nice if they didn’t have that sharp bend . I would like to them with a nice radius and the ends were the control are bent slightly inward about a inch or so.
I hate trying to find bars that feel good! I have a Chieftain.and put Indian bars on it only to dislike the pullback. Now in search of a different set.
I tried to be the First. Damn Adam you have mad patience I don't have a problem with work but that was more than I would get into mainly with the wiring. Looks good though. Good job.
Nice Adam, glad this works for you, more comfort equals easier miles. Next upgrade. May want to look into what Lloyd Greer of Lloydz Garage, Indian of Charlotte, NC. Looks like he has a tune out for the Challenger, something called a CRT V1 he will be installing on Challengers at upcoming Daytona Bike Week. I think this includes a performance cam.
Glad to see I’m not the only one makin changes. Mines down to frame as of today. Prepping for powder coating and painting. The ol Road King will be 20 years new by end of March. Edit: haha blue locktite for the win!! Bought a ciro wireless charger/mount and as soon as the make over is done it’ll be on.
I assume you moved the hand gips up and back . .. I have very short arms put a 4" riser on my snowmobile .. so now I am not sitting on the gas tank to reach handle bars.. I aslo have a 2" Riser to put on my street biike.. Don't know yet if I will have to legnthen the brake line clutch cable ect..throttle cable .. I did have to leghtnen on the snowmobile ..
Anyone know of a good dyno tune shop in the DFW area to dyno tune my 2020 Indian Challenger? I have the 2 into 1 zombies with cat delete and the power plus cam.
@@adamsandoval I just pulled the trigger on a 2021 roadmaster and they are disassembling it right now. She's gonna be candy apple red frame and all plus color matched dash. Bassani true duals with rear cylinder terminating on the left side to balance pipe length and speakers in the bags so I'm out an extra $12,750.00 to fully customize my new ride. After that I'm going to trick out my challenger in sunburst orange. Frame off .
I would love to come to America pick up a cheap van and a Harley and spend a few weeks at a camp site in each state travelling out daily on the bike to see as much as I can.
dream until that dream comes true! you’d definitely never forget it and go back with a ton of stories to tell. I hope the kriver campground is on that list!
@@adamsandoval I have absolutely no problem with everyone having a better bike. It definitely looks like an improved evolution of what was already good.
Hay, Dud love this life u do, just wondering , whats you idea of a good bike it's been about 15 to 20 years since I rode getting ready to buy one here in the next month or two then on the new ones and you've been on some of the old ones too I used to have it 2005 Harley had my ex-wife maybe get rid of it years ago what suggestion on something to ride now plan on riding it as much as possible every day just wondering if you value your opinion
Best advice I can give is go test ride lots. There hD been much change in the last few years of production. You should see what’s available and what you actually enjoy riding.
@@adamsandoval Your right , im going have fun testing the bikes, i live here in Southeast Mo, Cape Gitardeau Mo. Any time ,hope to see on the road .
Looks great. How are you liking the analog relocation? I wish the nav on my challenger was higher but I'm not 100% sold on the relocate with this package. Still looks good though.
Nothing better than workin on bikes with good friends.

I was a Harley-Davidson man for years ,now I’m a indain man waiting on my new challenger comeing ride safe .love your videos 🏴
Your going to love it
Good job Adam. That kit is awesome, I don't like when T bars are in the way of the screen and this solves it.
couple "coffees" and some friends over is absolutely the most fun way to work on a bike.
Replace the coffees with BEERS and your statement is correct

Step 1. Disconnect battery or pull main fuse! HAHAHA. I about spit my coffee out when you said I think I started my bike!
All them buddies, and not one reminded you to disconnect the battery. 🤷🏻♂️👍 That’s what my buddies do to me too. 🤣

I want your old bars... love the new setup though. Saw it on the MOMS video. They did a great job with the design. Hope you enjoy it!
Nice job! Looks SWEET!
As a retired Aircraft Electrical Tech, you're killin me with that wiring Adam.. Lol Stay Safe, and Stay Stubborn!
I put the KST bars on my Challenger and I can’t say enough about them. I’m very happy!
That looks way better than the stock setup. I dig it.
I’m diggin it too brother 👊

Wow! These look amazing bro. Well done. 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Man that looks like a job putting those bars on! I would be scared to do it, but good job Adam.looks like you had a little help too..lol
DOC! Love seeing Doc in the video almost as much as Ashley... lol Ok, that's not true. But I really like seeing Doc.
Those bars look way better.
Goood stuff thanks for getting back to me on the book face. Slick set up just keeps making me wanna go from my rg to the challenger even more!

I like the look of that dash
Great job! Looks great!
IMO that dash setup should have been the way Indian sent the bike out. That looks great

This popular "club style" look is making the older bikes look really dated.

That’s awesome looks really good

Makes it easier to get to the vents for opening and closing?
Pretty cool crew but wow that's a project
