    I love the rear bag lights. Even i had no issues installing. Didnt know the Indian lights were just running lights, glad i went with custom dynamics! Also love that the driving lights dont need to be flashed but not a fan of the install. Love the color of your bike! I put the hard lowers on with the Indian lights and aside from having to have them flashed (poor form, Indian), i love the looks and quality of the lights. Love knowing it makes the bike look awesome with much higher visibility.

    Nice video. I installed the bag lights and halo crash bar lights as well. However I installed the bar lights on the inside of the engine guards because I didnt want them to take the hit in the event of a tipover. BTW that 2-3 minute delay on the shutdown almost prompted me to return them. Tech support said that they would shut off in 30 seconds but my experience was like yours. Hopefully they will put an addendum on the instructions.

  • @janice8460

    Those crash bar lights look great, although I wouldn't want anything to stick out wider than my highway pegs.

    • @TwoIndians
      @TwoIndians  2 роки тому +2

      Yeah you can flip them to the inside of the bars also.

      @@TwoIndians Given that you have a red bike, do you wish you would have gone with the smoked lenses for the bag lights? I have a Springfield DH in Blake Smoke, and I'm torn which lense color to go with...red or smoked.

    Great video but I'm curious about your wiring? The holes that you drilled out have a sharp edge on the inside and can possibly rub and cut the insulation and wires in time. If it were me, I would go find some wire bushings to protect it from possibly shorting out.

    • @TwoIndians
      @TwoIndians  2 роки тому +1

      That’s another reason why I pushed a bunch of RTV into the holes.

  • @digbysdownunder
    @digbysdownunder 2 роки тому +2

    Another ripper vid.. in regards to the lights you put on, and why they stay on.. I'm thinking as must new cars lights stay on for the safety walk into the house or just provide some light in the dark for a few minutes.. just thinking out loud..

    • @TwoIndians
      @TwoIndians  2 роки тому +1

      LOL, I understand the benefit but what I’m saying is NOTHING else on the bike seems to have power when it’s off so it seems odd. Yes, these do have an independent power cable attached to the battery so I guess they have a continuous feed of power but I’m thinking they could’ve made them turn off faster. More than two minutes seems a bit long. Doesn’t change anything for me just curious.

      there's def merit to your points. I'm usually a fan of the Indian products when it comes to electronics for obvious reasons but these worked out very well for me.

    Awesome video / My only concern would be compromising the structual integratity of the crash bars (HUGE HOLE LOL) in the event of a an accident, thoughts...

    • @TwoIndians
      @TwoIndians  8 місяців тому +1

      Yeah I’d thought about that too but in every instance I’ve seen the bars tend to just bend backwards a little. I think they’d have to take a sharp pointed hit right at the point where the hole is to take advantage of the weakness and honestly I just don’t see that. I think the average drop or collision (even at speed) would still leave you well protected.

  • @RoonyPrime

    Love your videos!!! Have you installed Custom Dynamics (or any other brand) engine decorative LED kit? If yes, is the battery terminal in the front and have to route all wiring to the front rather than under the seat?

    • @TwoIndians
      @TwoIndians  2 роки тому

      Thanks for the compliment! You do have to route power wiring to the battery for a light kit. I’m planning my install now for this.

    Hi
    I’ve seen a lot of videos of yours and I can tell you admire Indian bikes which I love.
    I just want your opinion if possible, I’m trading in my F6B with an Indian, I like the challenger dark horse the most but it’s not available where I live. They got an amazing chieftain elite which is super expensive and can’t afford and they offered me a brand new 2018 Springfield dual tone color at a crazy price. But I’m a 35 years old guy who doesn’t like chrome. So I’m planning to take this bike and paint whatever can be painted powder coated paint and buy the required black engine part covers to make it alike the dark horse (which they don’t have as well) or just simply don’t buy it and keep looking for a second hand. Appreciate having your thoughts about that.

    • @TwoIndians
      @TwoIndians  2 роки тому

      Curtis Sawyer with Indian Rider Radio took a chromed out Elite and blacked it out too, top bottom, looks amazing. Personally I would probably wait for what I want. As you know I have a Springfield and a Challenger and if you forced me to pick one the Springy would have to go. The full fairing is essential.
