In this video Thumb rules for labours in construction, labour productivity is explained. Approximate Labour ratio of various trades in building construction is also shown.
In this video we will give you various thumb rules, labour productivity per day (8hours). These are general thumb rules, actual figures may vary according to the local conditions of the place where work is carried out. Hope you found it helpful.
The first step to increase productivity in construction is to understand the thumb rules of labour productivity.
Labour productivity in construction refers to how fast a project can be built, and how much it costs to build. These are critical factors that influence the cost and duration of any particular construction project. Sir, I have doubt. For 200thk AAC blockwork productivity is more (10sqm) than compared to 100-150thk AAC blockwork masony. Not able to understand its logic. Kindly clarify.
for 100-150 thk AAC blockwork, productivity is told as 8sqm
For 100 mm thick blockwork binders Or patali beams are required after every 1m height...
I observed that Bathroom flooring gives less productivity than room flooring, because of less work space, desired slope towards trap. 2) Painting work productivity taken very high..pls confirm...3) Waterproofing productivity taken very less..

Moreover, cpwd recommendations are somewhat contrasting from your figures..
It depends upon efficiency of workers. It may change as per efficiency of workers. Like skilled , semiskilled.... It's as per practical experience for reference. Theoretically it may be different.
