Hi mera ek doubt hain concrete mein 0.038 meter cube per sft bola apne 1000sft slab me ap sirf lenght aur width lere par thickness nahi liya jara na to jab concrete calculate karey to thickness bhi lete na par ap yaha thickness ki baath nahi kaha. So I hope you will clear my doubt. Thanks for uploading informative video.

Please, specific , from where you get these thumb rules !! Many items depends on mode/place of work , like Dia of Steel @Bar bending etc
Thumb rule doesn't mean it's exact. You can tell approximate based on experience at an average level

If area is 1200 sqft..
Then concrete required = 1200×.5 = 600 m3 (seriously!!!!!!!)
Let me calculate...
If thickness is 150 mm
The concrete for flat slab= 1200/10.78 X 0.15 = 16.72 cum
If we take 50 % extra for beams
16.72 X 50 /100 = 8.36
Total vol = 16.72 + 8.36= 25.08cum..

There is some calculation error.....like as if a work of plastering is 1000sqm then 3 labour and 3 mason complete it in 33.33 days instead of 25 days

Brother you are explaning very nice..but for people like us who dont know civil engineering.... can you make a video of house construction..... you were talking baout mixer grade.... but hamare ghar mei M15-20-25 etc... use nahi hue but thekedaar apne experience se bana raha tha.... CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE RESIDENCE HOUSE construction video in detail... so that lay-man like us can understand.... e..g. how to select thekedaar, how to pay him,how much labor, what is mason, how to make foundation, when to put column, what is shuttering, when to put roof, how to make rooms etc....

Kuch missing hai. Je se ki aap ne brick work ki detail me nahi batai. Vo clear kiji ye. Kuch material je se ki concrete ki aapne do bar detail di hai. Batten ka matlab nahi samaj me aai?? Tiles hai electric material hai granite hai. Vo quality pe depend hai. Cement me aapne sabhi grade bataye hai. Par kitne area me kitne KG cemet ki jarurat hoti hai??? Jese ki M10= 210 kg par kitne area ke liye????
