Hi Colin, as the narrator says, the Light Infantry marched at 140 paces per minute, which is much faster than the rest of the army, but for display purposes, the LI band and bugles marched at 160. We were very fit in those days, not so much now 😂
I don’t think the county regiments marched at that pace.
I was a bugler there
How did maintain the ability to play the bugle at that speed I’d be hanging out my arse
i wanted to hear the music .the narrator could have waited till the end
