I have a 2012 BMW X5 xdrive35i.
I replaced my throttle body and my HPFP.
The car throwing fault code P15DF.
I also have the Engine alert:
Engine malfunction reduced power
Chassis stabilization malfunction
DBC malfunction drive carefully.

I changed fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator. Will this fix ?
did you eventually resolve the issue ? i have the exact same issue, every time at 1/4 tank of fuel, the car would just shut off even at driving. I had both of the fuel pump (passenger side ) and fuel sending unit (driver side)

You may need to connect a fuel pressure gauge and continue to resolve where you might have pressure loss. Could also be from faulty injectors I believe. It's a difficult thing to track down.
Hey man I have a question, does it only shut off when it’s 1/4 of gas ? What happens when you have more than 1/4 of gas ? Does it still shut off ?

Wrut- roe! I do not know how the x5 E70 was set up..... On the 3 series E91 the Fuel Regulator/Sending Unit was on the Left/Driver Side and the Right/Passenger Side had the fuel pump and 3 or 4 fuel lines between the two in the gas tank... I replaced both @136k The fuel regulator had cracked (plastic) on top and there was a fine mist of gas coming out when pressurized(engine running) you could smell it the cabin and definitely out side; and there would be a few drips of gas on the ground after you parked the car. You have to open both sides the tank and might as well replace both....I purchased VDO..... which the BMW original part because the BMW markings were erased off. $400 and some change for both.
Thanks! I replaced the transfer pump ($220) and left the fuel pump ($550). The fuel pump (passenger side) was replaced in 2018 it looks like, under recall. Wiring harness burns out so they replace a section of harness and the pump. So hopefully this is the end of the story. Long form video coming this weekend!
