Wow, I love it! The one bar looked like a woman without a face and one looked kinda like snoopy lol! I love swirl designs, you never get the same design. Thank you Holly, nice to see you again 😊.
This is beautiful I love all of your videos on how you make your Soap, I've been watching your videos for a long time and you still amaze me, some people on here copy your Style but I only see original you keep up the wonderful work, you have taught me a few things, and Thanks.
Charcoal doesn’t mess around. I finally understand the differences between indigo for my hair and the one crafters use. I guess it’s dried after dye release as opposed to dye releasing on hair. I think. I should just look it up beforehand.
Beautiful ! Thank you for sharing :) I made a similar soap, but I used charcoal twice , one in a black batter as normal, and the other one with less charcoal ,so it was a grey batter , and final white batter and I used aniseed, mint and eculyptus essential oils ! I did the swirl in the loaf mould, next time i will try pot swirl instead and probably omit the aniseed as it was a very strong smell ! Thank you :)
Your soaps are always so beautiful! So, the sunflower oil used for the colors just adds to the superfat? Could I use a different oil such as sweet almond instead? Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. 💝
Thank you for another great video. On your fragrance amount, in a lot of your videos, you use 40 g/kg.... in your opinion, is that a low-medium-high scent level in your final product?
Hi Holly. Absolutely LOVE your videos and been a long time subscriber. I make soap only for my own enjoyment-it eases my mind and give such pleasure with mindful work of each step. The creativity of scent and colour are also a joy. When I watch your videos, I see your plan, your creativity and even some sometimes it goes a bit wonky, you easily adapt and your soap is beautiful art (and totally great to use!). Would like to ask, when you’re creating a new recipe-do you create with a “micro recipe”? Meaning maybe one that is total 500 grams but more like 250grams? Would love to understand this part a bit more from someone who has such great soap! Thank you and best wishes, g
I’ve used the same recipe you provided and my batter is still getting thick way too fast. I’ve removed sodium lactate as well so it doesn’t start getting thick too quickly and still can’t keep it fluid long enough. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.
Hi! Thanks so much for watching!
- Holly :)
