Landslide and Santana coming out to Britney are two of my favorite moments in the show - and while I understand Britney's side of things, she would have been nicer to Artie by telling him the truth about her love for Santana and breaking up with him. Plus, Burt is the absolute BEST Dad Ever for "educating himself" (as Kurt requested) and making Kurt listen to him about the emotional side of sex. I wish he'd been my dad because all I got was the statement "I wish I would have killed you before you ever got to this point". Nice, huh?
The Santana/Brittany love story has a special place in my heart. It was the summer between my sophomore and junior year of high school when I came to terms with my sexuality, and these episodes aired around the same time. This show, specifically Naya's performance, helped me feel seen in a way that's unexplainable. As funny and corny as this show is, I will always be grateful for it and the confidence it gave me to come out.
I love that Brittney doesn’t know about pregnancy, even though she personally knows someone who was pregnant like 4 months ago My random opinion that no one asked for: I find it so weird that people act like teens are incapable of not having sex. A lot of teens don’t have sex, they aren’t ready
That last part is so true, especially for Gen Xers. I graduated high school in 2014 and the vast vast majority of the people in my class were not yet having sex. I only knew maybe two or three people out of a class of many hundreds who had had sex by 17
the notion comes from the fact that a lot of teens do... and it has to do with sex ed. thats holly’s POV and it’s based on how not teaching teens about sex and abstinence only sex ed doesn’t work. areas with bad sex ed have higher teen pregnancy rates because they do it anyway, just not carefully.
@@SarastistheSerpent sorry, but there’s no way you could know that about the hundreds of people in your class organically lmao. not even if you did a creepy survey would you get that out of all of them. i graduated in 2017 with a class of 500 and i only knew the status of about 5 of their virginities (friends) because people aren’t broadcasting that info to every ham and egger they meet
Naya's acting in this episode just ripped my heart out. Repeatedly. "Landslide" is one of my favorite numbers from this entire show. I don't feel like she was really being fair to Brittany in the conversation where she revealed her feelings for her - but at the same time, I think her reaction is understandable. It's basically the first time Santana has willingly made herself fully open and vulnerable, to the one person she feels she can trust more than anyone else - and she felt rejected. I think it's a very natural, real feeling scene in terms of the emotion and it always makes me tear up.
Mike O'Malley played Burt so well and kurt's story line is one of the best if not the best. Damn I love Burt! My favourite character in any t.v. show I've watched (which is not a lot but still...). Also, Gwyneth Paltrow is soo pretty for being almost 40 in this.
The Brittany and Santana storyline will always be one of the best in the series. Such important representation, especially at the time of airing. Meant so much to a lot of people
I just finished binging Glee for the first time. This scene made me fall in love with Santana, and also made me absolutely heartbroken that Naya is no longer with us 😭
I was thinking the exact same thing. It's got me thinking someone probably knew of his gross habits and tried to give him a warning. If that somehow was the case, they should've just turned him in
Oh no I get very uncomfortable when miss holiday talk about well u know what in front of the kids even I been through that since I was a teenager while my parents are married back in Hamilton to Fort Erie & I got sick in my tummy thinking about it & if miss holiday talk about this again I’ll leave the room immediately so I won’t get sick in my tummy ever again
Afternoon Delight sung by the Abstinence Club is pure Glee perfection. It’s ridiculousness is the type of cringe I want to remember

"Don't throw yourself around like you don't matter. Because you matter" applies to so much in life. Everyone should have a parent like Burt.
best tv parent ever

I remember when Naya died, they played their version of Landslide to honor her memory. It gets me misty eyed every time I hear it
wdym? where did who play it

I think Abstince and being informed about Sexual Health doesn't exclude each other.
Landslide will forever be one of my favorite Glee songs. Just gorgeous harmonies!
beautiful !

I feel like this episode would've been a good marketing strategy to sell those Gwyneth Paltrow vag candles.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wow. I totally forgot about Puck's storyline in this episode. I'm looking for a word darker than "ironic".
Looking back there are several pretty creepy ironic Puck moments! Like him saying by 2030 he will be in jail or dead or both. So sad 😢
Forshadowing, he should have paid attention to the lesson in the script

This (excluding the puck stuff that’s uncomffy) and blame it on the alcohol are probably my two favorite episodes of this season 😂 great reaction ❤
Throughout this series, we should’ve got a “Santana is so hot” counter lol. Or take a shot every time you say it lol
“Do You Wanna Touch” is by Joan Jett & the Blackhearts ❤
Oooo
When Gwyneth Paltrow is on, do you ever think "What is Pepper Potts doing"?
Haha yes.
I think the building where the Warblers sang for the girls was used in the video for Sugarland's "Stuck Like Glue"
I LOVE THIS REACTIONS 😜
Thank u
8:02 thats aged not so well 😐
Yeahhhh
Just Glee predicting the future of its cast...again. 😬
Right I was like "oop"
was looking for this comment 💀😬
