This place is maybe the farthest point from KL on Mainland Malaysia but is definitely worth the trip depending on why you are travelling! Kota Bharu can be translated into english as "NewCastle". They also have very thick accent which for many is hard to understand. KInda like the Geordies I suppose 😅
Kota baru... emm dont think there are many 'Mat salleh' (caucasians) heading to kelantan... but then again you guys are a fun couple and see things in a better perspective. Plus ,to que for hours just for an ice- cream... that is so wicked , It must be so sedap ice cream.😁
Haha we must admit that during our whole time in Kelantan we only saw a couple of tourists, we hope that we can inspire more people to visit! The ice cream was so sedap! 😋

Kelantanese are known for having a sweet tooth. Don’t be surprised that even the roti canai curry gravy are laced with sugar
We did notice a difference and often asked for some garam (salt) for the curry / dal!
