Your hair is so healthy, I love how you care for your hair. Our hair isn’t created to look “silky” glad you accept that as well. I always wanted a REVAIR it’s just so expensive! As a dense 4c girlie I’d be so grateful for one❤️
Honestly, your hair is sooooo beautiful. No one would believe it's not a wig. So glad you're a champion of the beauty and versatility of natural black hair. Thank God for you.
Even though you said it wasn’t, this could be a tutorial for people who want to straighten their hair with low manipulation and low heat. I call it poofy straight, cause it still is straight but with some volume. I have a similar way I blow dry, but instead I just use the tension method. This is where I don’t use the comb or brush attachment, I just hold my hair taut and let the warm air from the blow dryer stretch out my curls and it gives it almost the same look as the rev-air that you used, and that’s good enough for me! I can’t wait until you’re able to do the giveaway! 🤗 This turned out beautifully btw ❤ Love the videos, keep ‘em coming!!! 🤩
Your hair is so beautiful ❤ I have 4c hair, my oldest daughter is 7, she has 4c hair, and my youngest, 3, has 4b hair. In my opinion, our hair isn’t designed to be bone straight. I’m not knocking the look, but I love that you have the “4c version” (best way I can word it) of “straightened” hair. I’m terrified of hot irons, or any kind of heat so we don’t use heat tools on our hair, but I thought about trying just the blow dry method to see if that would help me manage the girls hair better. I have locs so my hair requires a different kind of care regimen. It’s been quite the hair journey for all of us. Your videos have helped me grow out all of our hair, maintain the volume, and now our hair is so thick, gorgeous, and growing beautifully. It’s ALOT! 😅 But, thank you! 😊
This video really helped me! I was low-key stressing about doing the comb-chase method, but when I saw how pretty your hair turned out without it, I didn't bother, and my hair turned out really nice 😊
I love your channel, you're my new fav natural hair youtuber. I feel like you're real especially when it comes to 4c hair and I don't feel any pressure anymore to make sure my hair is perfect and to trim it and all that. ❤
Omg ur hair looks exactly like mine! I don’t see a lot of natural hair UA-camrs with hair like this. Idk a lot of them have a very “neat” look. I use neat in air quotes because that’s a term I side-eye, but it’s how they describe it in comparison to hair like mine that is “unkempt”. In any case, I feel seen by your channel so thank you so much for ur content!
If you use a leave-in conditioner, that is a great heat protection for blow-drying. The only way I found to protect the hair from a heating tool, like a flat iron, is to use a product with silicons, or very low temperatures.
Yep! I'm definitely OCD when it comes to fiction in the ends. My hoodies are sleek nylon(or satiny nylon)just for that reason. I'm eating mini braids with Crystal beads held on with micro links and I still make sure my ends are not touching anything because I roll them up into the beads (spraying daily).
Yes I tried putting my hair in twists and then just leaving it to air dry, I wasn't a fan because it took FOREVER for it to dry and I didn't like going to bed with wet hair. I also find that blowdrying really helps me with detangling and avoiding too many extreme knots that could cause breakage. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful hair! 😍 Appreciate this video and your content. Especially want to see your ends journey since you don’t trim but do use gentle heat to straighten.
This is a beautiful tutorial even though you say it’s not a tutorial :) and your hair beautiful! This is the first time I’m hearing and seeing no comb/brush detangling method. But I have to say, it’s a lot of work. I have 4 beautiful girls and a life🤦🏾♀️. I try my best with their hair. Thankfully (Yes I said thankfully 😁) me and my first daughter have locs. Still, it’s a lot of work doing my other girls hair. I’ll definitely keep the above mentioned method of growing out our hair in mind.
Love your hair! Is this the new version of the Revair (the smaller one)? I asked because I am considering investing in the Revair. It’s a pricey tool. I’m also thinking about NOT using my comb anymore. 😊
Gorgeous! 🫶🏽💕I love the layers and dimension you created while using low manipulation and low heat. I would love to learn how to care for my hair fully without the need to use a tool. Even when trying my hardest when finger detangling, I almost always need a tool to assist at some point even if it’s not throughout the process.

Wowwww you don’t use combs? That’s amazing. I’m currently combing out my locs and I’m about to be a loose natural. I’m very excited but extremely nervous at the same time, hence why I’m watching so many videos. I want to ruin the stereotype of “black girl hair is so hard to take care of”.

Omg, RevAir is BOMB foe type 4 hair.
So nice. Our Afro hair looks sooooo good.
Thanks so much!

3:28 There is a new smaller lighter RevAir. But I just started doing weight lifting- no lie. Now it’s super easy to use 😆
Really!? Wow i had no idea! lol
Doing my hair is my arm workout😅

Poofy straight is the perfect name for it! Thank you for watching!@
Good to see a no comb-chasing straightening method.
Glad you liked it!
Yeah That’s how why your hair breaks off
You're officially my favourite channel.
Thank you!
You & your hair are beautiful! Great tutorial and thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you so much!

Wow that's so awesome to hear!! I'm glad I was able to help! Thank yo for watching!
It looks so natural. I love this so much ❤ 💕
Thank you so much!
Beautiful results 🎉
It seems to be a perfect setup for two side buns for maximum bend.
Actually you look very classic American Indian ...any chance?!?❤
No I’m Ghanaian!
This video really helped me! I was low-key stressing about doing the comb-chase method, but when I saw how pretty your hair turned out without it, I didn't bother, and my hair turned out really nice 😊
Awesome!! I'm so happy to hear that!
I love you natural 4c hair…!❤️
I think having type 4 hair it’s more dangerous when getting silk presses because we take more to get our hair straightened versus looser texture
I def. agree that extra care has to be taken with ours
Yes it does it removes the Tangles I love my REVAIR
PS- I loooooooove that pretty sweater at the end of the video!❤
Love the dancing at the end😂😂😂😂I usually just revair again on the third day
Thank you! lol!
Love your earrings! They look beautiful on you. Is there a particular place that you shop for them may I ask?
Thank you! I actually got them in sicily italy a few years ago from a small mom and pop shop so I dont' know how to get more unfortunately
@@preciousfro My loss but you made excellent choices. They are beautiful!

Your hair is beautiful❤️
Thank youuu!!

Girl, Im from France and Im doing positive affirmation on UA-cam and you really do a great job. I like your content really 😊
Thank you so much!!
Your hair looks great 😍😍😍😍 I'm the same with middle part for out styles and side part when "straightened"
Your hair is beautiful well done. I would love the revair but it is not yet sold for the Caribbean...I hope it will be soon possible.
Thank you so much!
Girl that flat iron 😂
yeah it's def. a struggle iron😂😂😂
Hey doll, maybe get some satin headrest covers! That's what I have and it def helps with friction in the car
That’s a great tip!!

It looks great. So much patience. Have you tried any “no heat” straightening methods? If so, how did that go?

@@preciousfro have you tried the banding method?
Your hair looks good. I wasnt too sure about heat protectants either.
Thank you!
New subscriber here , I love how your hair comes out after straightening ❤
Thank you!!
Beautiful hair! 😍 Appreciate this video and your content. Especially want to see your ends journey since you don’t trim but do use gentle heat to straighten.

OMG i need a revair
Looks nice!
do you have the 1st revair or the newer model....asking because I want to know if you have the newer model if you are saying its heavy....thanks
I think i have the old model but to be honest I'm not 100% positive

Yes it is definitely a lot of work! Thankfully I don't straighten my hair often lol Thanks for watching!
Love it
Thanks so much!

I just found out there was a new version, i'm not sure but i think mine is the original size!
How long have you been growing your hair?
What lipstick are you wearing with the tan sweater
It's actually a green and a red that i mixed together! I'll find them and update this comment with the names!
The new RevAir is smaller and less heavy!❤
That's what i'm hearing!
Since you straighten your hair like that and still detangle maybe try the straightening combs type of ones 😇
They are def. effective but i dont like using combs in my hair to avoid breakage

@@preciousfro please do! I would love to learn how you part and your weekly regimen.

I have heard that too about heat protectant! It's just a placebo . . .
It looks better like that
lol my blow out is done the next day!!
It’s so nice to see someone with the exact same “no wet detangling ever” philosophy as I have. PS my arm is tired watching you 😅
😂😂😂

Don't be nervous! Although that's def. normal. As long as you're patient and gentle with your hair you'll see results!
Living Proof, your hair won't revert back to its original state if you go to a Dominican hair salon (generalizing).
I think this was a fail.
Heat protectants definitely don't work. Ive tried with and without.
