Illuminati: New World Order (INWO) is an out-of-print collectible card game (CCG) that was released in 1994 by Steve Jackson Games, based on their original boxed game Illuminati, which in turn was inspired by the 1975 book The Illuminatus! the bronze head... they say that when John the babtist was decapitated his head continued to speak prophesy, therefore creating the skull n bones tradition of keeping skulls and drinking blood out of the skulls like Geronimos skull which his great grandson sued them over.

Pizza for the Secret Meeting is the most important/nastiest card.
Fun fact: When I first posted this video last year, it got 1000 views a day for 3 days. That Sunday night the views completely stopped. It went from 120 views in the 9:00 hour to 4 in the 10:00 hour. I figured out that it was during the 9:00 hour that people in the comment section started talking about that card, so I must have gotten a minor shadow ban at that point.

The most illuminated card in the entire set (apart from "Trading Card Games" which gave you "control over all trading card games - _including this one"_ ) was "I LIED," which allowed you to break any deal you made with another player.
I love that card :)
My favorite story about this game is that there was a tournament where the two finalists agreed to draw and split the prize. One of them immediately played "I Lied" and took the win.
Creepy thing about the Brazil card is that it was recently announced publicly that the Brazilian Amazon has a whole lost city underneath it. This game obviously knew about it already! Crazy thing is that you missed a ton of key information in most of the cards. You scrolled past most of the most important ones. Gotta notice the images too.
I've had a couple other people mention that I went too fast too, but I didn't want the video to last too long. I'm thinking about trying to get the cards I don't have to complete the set, and then do a video with those, and maybe a longer form one looking at some of the other cards a little long. @@TabletopJason No. The Internet in a rudimentary form was available through BBSs (like SJG's own Illuminati Online), and services like AOL or CompuServe.
In its original form before the WWW was a big thing, it was made up of smaller pieces like email, UseNet and FTP. Personal Internet connections and the web came later, but the Internet was available through those services before the web.
I know, because I used them as a teenager.

Ironically I saw conspiracy articles on telegram or maybe they were posted online then deleted. That a certain mcdonalds item tested positive for human DNA. and 2 at a major meat packing plant there was a big fire and people on scene found human bodies inside.

Ive always been intrigued by these cards and would love for someone to be able to further expand on them.
Who created these and what knowledge did they have?
It was created by Steve Jackson Games in 1994, but was based on a similar game also called Illuminati in the 80s. There's actually a second edition of the original Illuminati game available in gaming stores now.
The 90s game, however, was released as a collectible card game to capitalize on the popularity of Magic: The Gathering. It used a lot of the same cards and concepts as the original game and I believe went out of of print in '96.
The most interesting thing, though, is that the offices of Steve Jackson were raided by Secret Service in 1990 and they seized computers and over 300 floppy disks. Really makes you wonder what is going on, huh?

It is based on a book written and published in the mid 70's called "illuminatous trilogy". So what maybe should we wonder about is what knowledge did the authors of the book had.

I found out about this game at 2013 through web and youtube videos. I really swear you that I saw and learned about the two cards about "Disease" and " Quarantine" during 2013. It was at the same time when I also saw the card " Paris" or "Attack Paris". I swear you that this is true. I know about these cards and thir predictions since 2013. So I can ensure you that at least 3 cards were published before events happened and predicted those events. Scary! I suspect that they are not predictions but knowledge of illuminati plans. They are not prophecies but conspiracies. If you read the book that was written 45 years ago ("illuminatous trilogy", 1975) you will be shocked.
In the end…while it is convoluted it’s simple when all the pieces go together. Everything and I mean everything is about the ruling class over the slave class. “Magic Tricks”. The occult has two sides “a light side and a dark side” but both work together to achieve what is called “The Great Work” the goal to enslave humanity and achieve immortality through technology… “cheat death” their plans and concepts are centuries in the making.. most people don’t look a year ahead…. So to clarify when you see things that predict the future. They aren’t predictions.. It’s insider knowledge of the plan to enslave humanity. Grasp this and you will understand why it is predicted in movies, television, radio and News. It’s how they program the public. TEL-A-VISION…

The game has still been in print up to 2019. The original is the limited 1994 edition.
The 1995 unlimited edition however is still being added to and updated today (It will still say "1995 Unlimited Edition", check the publication date and I guarantee it will have been republished recently.)
They reprint the regular game every few years it seems, but the CCG has been done since 1995. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illuminati:_New_World_Order I prefer the look and feel of this one to the later prints of the regular card game though, that's for sure.

I try to be optimistic about the future of our country, but things just seem to keep getting worse.
I was heavily invested in this game as a kid, and even won the only two tournaments to be held in my hometown. I had 300 cards including most of the rares, including a copy of the very rare "Trading Card Games" card, a magazine exclusive, signed by John Kovalic, the main artist.
There is so little info on this game anywhere on UA-cam or the web, it's awesome to see it covered finally.

When it came out, my friends and I were heavily invested in MTG and would often trade a bunch of Magic cards for the new games coming out. That was where I got these cards. We played this one a bit, but never had any tournaments. Pretty cool that you did.

I wonder if they made a "conspiracy theorist" kind of card, maybe featuring William Cooper (author of Behold a Pale Horse). At this time (1994), Cooper was hosting his short-wave radio program, the Hour of the Time. It was an epic program. This card game looks amazing, I want to know how to play it.

@@DKPSKs Yeah, I think the second edition is terrible diluted and seems to favor the establishment instead of criticizing it. I also don't like the art on the current version. This 1994 game is pretty expensive now though.

The game was loosely based on the works of Robert Anton Wilson, especially the _Illuminatus!_ trilogy, published in the '70s, and which still holds up as a story about the rivalry between the straight-laced, power-mad Illuminati and the hippie-dippie, free-love Discordian Society, although it incorporates a large number of lesser conspiracies.
The Discordian Society, in turn, was based on a curious book from the early-mid '60s called _Principia Discordia,_ copies of which can be found online and which will blow your mind, man.
The _Principia_ was mostly written by "Malaclypse the Younger" and Kerry Thornley, with input from Robert Anton Wilson, which illuminates the teachings of Discordianism (or "Erisianism"), a religion based on the worship of Eris, the Greek Goddess of Strife, Beaurocracy and Aftermath. It's debatable whether _Principia Discordia_ is a joke masquerading as a religion, or a religion masquerading as a joke.
Discordianism is oftwn seen as a rival of the Church of the Subgenius, (on which INWO's only expansion was based.) They share an "am I joking or am I serious" style and æsthetic.
Interestingly, Steve Jackson Games published an edition of the _Principia Discordia_ shortly after INWO came out with some new material, and at one point even accepted submissions for a second edition of the Principia that never materialized.
I hope this gives some background on INWO. Check out _Principia Discordia_ and the _Illuminatus!_ Trilogy. The Principia was the original "copyleft" publication and is readily available in several editions, including several places online.
The Illuminatus! trilogy is still in print, I believe. You should be able to get it on Amazon.
I read the trilogy around 5 years ago. Pretty fun, but a little confusing at times.

New World Order cards were about the favorite conspiracy-theory topic of "the Illuminati instituting a New World Order," which could be of various kinds, depending on the card played.
They changed certain aspects of the game for all players, and a new "new world order" would cancel any old ones.
Sometimes they empowered different types of groups, sometimes they made it impossible to play different types of plot cards, sometimes they had different effects.
If you weren't careful about how you played NWO cards they could end up biting you in the ass.
I definitely prefer the look of this game to the original. It feel much more sinister.

@@TabletopJason well... if I counted correctly then there are 412 total cards. I have exactly 360 unique cards. That means I'm missing 52 cards. Some of them are cheap, some are around $20 each and I haven't looked them all up. I've only looked up around 10. I was hoping I was closer to the collection being complete. I don't think I want to invest the money into buying the cards individually on eBay. Darn it! I may just sell the set I have on eBay.

The questionable ones dealt more with racial or ethnic issues I didn't feel comfortable showing on UA-cam. I'm wondering if I should do a few more videos with these, going a little slower and show more of the text on the cards.

These only work for the collectible card game from 94/95, Illuminati: New World Order.
The original deck is now listed for over $1,000 online. In other words, completely unaffordable for the average person.
Yeah, it's really gone up in the secondary market. The second edition of the non-collectible version is available and currently being sold for around $25, though. Thanks for watching.

Some friends and I used to play this game back in the late 90's. The further the game progressed, the more complex things became until all of the permutations became impossible to keep track of. That seemed to be part of the point of the game. The book (trilogy) is wild, by the way. Definitely worth a read. It will fnord your brain.

These were pretty much tarot cards that told the future. Which leads me to questions, who made these cards? Why did they make them? What was the creators belief system? Pretty creepy how majority of these predicted the future.

I remember playing this in the 90’s, my friend had it who was obsessed with the Illuminatus trilogy. Was an ok game but I was turned off by the mid artwork that was done by 1 person.
I read that Illuminatus Trilogy. Fun, weird, confusing, and interesting all at the same time. As for the artwork, it's still 1000% better than the second edition that was released a few years ago. Thanks for watching.

I have the original complete sets over 500 in just 1 set, never opened. It is the original Steve Jackson games NWO Illuminati 1st limited editions. Steve Jacksons business was raided by the secret service because of these sets. I bought them over 30 years ago and never opened them. I also have the book which has most of the collection so no need to open them. I have studied so-called conspiracies since i was 14. Only the plastic box wrap removed, i just wanted to open and see the packaging. All the cards are wrapped in gold foil like wrapping. I believe each has about 5 cards but i would have to look…

They are. Look up Illuminati: New World Order on ebay. They're actually going for quite a bit, especially the cars that "foreshadow" things.

INWO didn't really predict the future: it was satirizing the people and events of its own time, as well as lampooning conspiracy theory as a whole.
The Pentagon card was a reference to the scene in Illuminatus! where the Discordians tried to "exorcize" the Pentagon using "good vibes."

As I did see it and my ex girlfriend next day even saw it and told me about how she couldn't sleep after seeing it. The moon holds mysterious power as I also didn't sleep one full moon when I was like 10 years old I believe. But yeah it was big and red. The eclipse happened at 3 am or 4 am. I was about to start my shift at a retail store. I remember filming it and took a photo. I'm not sure if I have the phone as this was years ago but hopefully I can dig it up. But when the eclipse happened it covered the moon and it was dark like a shadow. I saw it on the pacific front

They're roughly 2.5 x 3.5, so standard card protective sleeves will fit on them.
