For The Love of a Daugher is THE BEST song on this album by a long shot for me. If you listen to Demi's songs about her father in sequence (World of Chances, For The Love of a Daughter, Shouldn't Come Back, Father and Buterfly) you feel SO MANY emotions. You feel sorrow, you feel regret, you feel pain, you feel forgiveness and finally, you feel relief. It's such a journey everyone should experience (Yeah, I'm ignoring Daddy Issues cause it's about her Father but in a very different approach)
Demi recorded Skyscraper before her first time in rehab, thats why her voice sounds so row, they tried to re-record after but it doesn’t sound as good as the first time. MLILAS is my favorite song too, this album was my first time hearing demi, so it got a special place in my heart but it definelly has some skips
The lack of love for mistake deserves so much more love 😢 Fun fact: For the love of a daughter was supposed to be on “here we go again” but didn’t make the cut so she switched it up and added it to unbroken instead

It's not their best but don't think this album is super weak like a lot of people say, I feel like it has some of their best songs on here. But Here We Go Again is for sure way better than this and might still be my 2nd fave album of hers! It's back into the pop rock sound

This album actually made me a certified #Lovatic 🫶🏻 Skyscraper made me confront my mental health issues particularly bipolar depression. Lighweight made me recognize that I’m a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP). Fix A Heart touches on the lifetime effects of trauma - that endless band-aids can’t cure invisible wounds. For The Love Of A Daughter exceptionally hits home for me personally. It made me glad that aside from Christina Aguilera, here comes Demi Lovato, the millenial version of Xtina, shows the world that she herself struggles with father-related issues, too, such as alcoholism, domestic violence, and mental health issues of a parent.

unbroken deserved so much better! it should have been a album with only the ballad/r&b type of sound... such great and iconic songs from demi's discography mixed up together with their worst 😭 so excited for your hwga reaction!! one of my absolute favorites

Also jason derulo's ft song was like one of my favorites from the album (missy is there too). Lightweight really shows demi's vocal prowess with her belting and runs. Ngl unbroken is like the first album by demi that I really listened to growing up on the radio and getting my first laptop. I of course watched sonny with a chance when I was a kid and all those songs were cute pop moments (she was 16). Yet, it was only when I was older and Sorry Not Sorry single came out, I really looked into demi's entire discography on spotify and listened to every album in order. Shes even got awesome covers on spotify only like Aint No Way by aretha. Its so slay.

Nah I have beef with everyone saying this is their worst album because it most definitely is not. Disregarding tracks 1-4 and Hold Up, which still leaves us with 9 songs, I could argue it’s one of the better earlier projects. I do highly recommend watching the vevo live performances for this album at some point (if not here then on your own time). Although her voice/vocal range has changed exponentially in the time since, the live performances still blow me away

For me SKYSCRAPER RV is better than the original. IMO it's more emotional cuz of the new instrumental and her matured voice.
