Ugly truth: If the red bot gets the drop on you, then your vehicle is doomed. If you get the drop on the red bot, you don't need a tank. Why do I say it's doomed? Try building a cube of Tier-3 Metal and putting a button in the middle and then setting off an explosive near it. Your cube will live, your button will die. I think if you want a solution for red bots, you have to think of something radically different than a tank, because you just can't build a complex vehicle that can sustain a hit from those things in the current meta. You're better off dismounting and clearing the top floor without the vehicle. (Or, like I said, there's might be some outside-the-box thinking that can be applied.) 2. A turret that can rotate 180 degrees (rather than the Sturmgeschütz-style arrangement like here) works better, but it's not crucial. (Think 3-bearings - one big left, one big right, one steering bearing-lock for within 15-degrees) 3. Having the seat built into the turret (like on the chicken walker, but not this tank) makes aiming precisely easier, but not-so-easy that you can hit targets at a distance with any kind of reliability. 4. Tank steering, like here, works better than most other arrangements I tried (even a pretty slinky articulated model). 5. Controller-powered tanks are better than electric engines because they're 1/6th the size. They're slower and the steering is wonkier, but having space for a full turret makes up for it. 6. Different types of wheels are mostly side-grades from one another - e.g. big wheels work awesome on the office-construction-tile's rough floor, but can make the vehicle ungainly on stairs. Basically all the tiles present different maneuvering challenges and some designs are better at some tiles, other designs are better at other tiles. It's hard to pick a clear winner, but i think I'd go with six small wheels, like shown here, but with the wheels double-wide and running on a single-block center axle. 7. Many of the obstacles you'll face (e.g. tape balls, cardboard boxes) can be smacked out of the way with the gun or the hammer. 8. Armored glass isn't armored enough - tapebots can break it. (Tried that for an aiming reticle. Seemed a fail because the glass would break 3 or 4 times a run, although I never got hit through the shot-thru hole, for whatever reason. Only time I died was when I got out of the tank to fix it, like a dumbass.) 9. Tapebots aim at the player, so you don't really need to armor up the wheels. (Not saying it's a bad idea all the time, just giving the data.) 10. Never get out of the tank until you reach the top floor. There'll be plenty of time for collecting drops on the inevitable runbacks... Might as well make them worth something. Depending on the warehouse, it might even make more sense to run back down rather push through to the elevator. (Yes, there are definitely red bots between the loot and the elevators) I did my first warehouse run naked and I HATED every minute of it, but i had to have that shotty... Running through them with tanks was a ton of fun. Even when I died I wasn't pissed off (too much) because I either said to myself "dumbass! Why did you get out of the tank?? That said, I wonder if bringing a vehicle changed the spawning behavior, because there seemed to be a lot more bots in tighter cluster than usual. It's unfortunate how much trouble that one red bots caused you. I wonder if a turret cap and wheel covers would have helped, since the T3 metal was fine. Beyond that, some onboard storage might be nice, so you don't have to toss some loot at the end. Also, would it be possible to design a more vertical tank, or a tank that can stand itself up, to allow for a tighter turning radius. If a turret cap and wheel covers don't work, could you put a slab of T3 metal on a set of pistons, so red bot explosive go off well before they can hit anything destructible.

I noticed that. LOL. Although I didn't see him approach it with the hammer. I just saw him first shoot the chest then immediately switch to the hammer. That was funny.
Kan, just build a metal box on wheels. There’s no point in killing the tape bots. Have a mechanism where you are fully covered in tier 3 metal so you can’t die.
@@0rangeGhost4 huh, good idea with a hatch, but the box will need to be high then to fit you when you get up from the seat loot isn't a problem though since you can gather it with vacuum pump
I'm a Brazilian UA-camR, (little) and I'm learning a lot from your videos, what a talent you have ... congratulations! (now my gameplays will be fantastic) I will always recommend you!
I was working on a similar project, but you got a lot farther than I did. I found that the best way to stop explosions from breaking everything is to have a piston push a wall of T3 metal forward because explosions do damage through walls. I also found that tapebots will not shoot at pistons or bearings, and covering your sides in that will prevent getting shot, but they will walk towards you. also on the piston wall on the front, put a part that flips up to cover the spudgun turret. the bots will also try to aim straight towards the control seat, so that may be something to consider
Hey kAN, my wife and I did that a while back. We built an improved model once we got in there and experienced getting stuck on the scenery rolls of tape. Had to modify the underbody to get up and down ramps while also being able to cut the corners. It's funny to watch the tape just bounce off. :) I'm no youtuber but I posted a video if you want to see it. I'm proud of the little guy. Thanks for the videos!
My warehouse run, also a 4 story one, I made a tank that worked like a forklift, 2 big front wheels and the turning wheels in the back. 3rd floor they shot the seat through a 1 block hole opening that I used to access the seat. Twin spud guns are Not worth it, a single spud works just fine. I was thinking of trying a saw for cutting the tape barricades. I like the tank steering method you used. For the explosive tape bots I was just using a wall of T3 metal that could block a door or access and I just worked my way through the 4th floor using that. The T3 metal will not destroy from an explosion the big red farm bots will damage it but so far that is the only thing that does. Ever since the last update where they "improved" tape bot pathing if you think you are doing a warehouse without a tank you are crazy or suicidal. I got swarmed by 5 or 6 at a time especially on the construction floor where they came up from under the floorboards. Cheers
A few weeks ago I was doing a warehouse run and a tape bot literally dove through the air coming down a long ramp, shooting me while in mid air, matrix style. It was ridiculous.
Red tape bot solution: The answer is staring you in the face....literally! LOL Back when I saw you take the chicken walker inside a warehouse, I decided to make my own warehouse crawler. But my first thought wasn’t towards a tank and unbreakable blocks. But how to shoot around the corners. Bots shoot when they see YOU, so offset your gun to the side of your tank and fire from the safety behind the walls.
You have to find out exactly how explosive damage works. Did it destroy your wheels because there was still one block worth of unarmored space on the front of your tank, between the bottom of the frame and the ground, or did explosive damage bypass your metal blocks? I'm guessing the former because your engines were undamaged. So, if this is the case, you know how you have to modify your tank design.
explosions damage everything in range, even through other blocks. the best way to avoid damage is to prevent the bots from being able to target you at all. I did some research and found that the AI will not shoot your creation if its covered in bearings, but they will try to get as close as possible to you.
Just a suggestion, not all warehouses are empty apart from the last loot room, most have a few 'hidden' green crates on each elevator-floor. Including but not limited too: - In bathrooms - In floors/ceilings - In some of those metal 'fence cages' (the ones like you see at for example 8:40 in the vid) - 'Out of bounds' (read: sections of the warehouse you dont usually see, the outside of the vents section, that kind of stuff) That said im not 100% sure this applies to all worlds, or only those created after a certain patch, in my first world i hardly had any green crates in any warehouse (occasionally find 1-2 in the entire place) made a new world after a few patches (because i made something so complex i couldn't load first world anymore lols) and now im finding green crates in all the warehouses (like 2-4 each elevator-floor)
I'm surprised out of all these youtubers I seen run through a warehouse that none of them notice that the Elevator is attached to the Blue Room of each floor.
Kan you should put a vacuum on the bottom of the tank that connects to a chest so you just drive over loot instead of getting out of the tank and collecting it
there is nothing that can pick up free floating items on the ground therefore in the loot room you cannot pick up the items after destroying the loot crates without exiting your vehicle
It's videos like these that makes me wish we could go into the upgrade seat menu to manage all the activators you have hooked up to the seat (buttons and switches) so that you can can not only re-order which trigger goes to which slot (1-10) without using the wiring tool, but can also set which key you use to select that input in that same menu, which would be separate from the binding your quick slot items. Keep in mind, this is not a binding list for your account, this is so that every different seat can have separate bindings. So in this instance gun left and right could be Q and R with up and down being R and F and Fire being Left Click. You would only want this binding for this vehicle though.

Ho Ho Ho" the movie is set at a company Christmas party
It's more like Tape bot: "puts out +4" Kan: AHA YOU FOOL YOU ACTIVATED MY TRAP CARD "SLAMS +4 ON THE TABLE" Red tape bot: I am about to end this man's whole carrier "puts down a ray man punching things card"
Loved this. A real shame the tank couldn't withstand the Red Bots. The best thing about this though was recovering your stranded tank from the roof with spuds. Amazing :)
Tank idea- build a roof system that makes protected pistons come down to make a covered roof. Idea 2- put spud guns in pairs of 3 around the tank for a wider spread and possibly more damage if you can make them aim at the same spot.
I would suggest some shields or spaced armor that keep explosions away from vulnerable parts... But there is no more space in tunnels. Maybe, some redesign, move guns and AI components to the back section and cover them by a driver body XD Maybe make the front section flatter, so shots will fly above it? What about pistons and their weird collision model? Some piston-based space armor?..
maybe you can add a front wall of tier 3 metal on pistons (it should have decent buffer so pistons wont break from explosion) and use wall when red guys appear. Like an active tank armor)))
@@dnr-vs1lk well splash will never stop or it has some range? For that range defence wall should be far from tank on pistons. Though it still will be chaos when red shoot - it can break floor.
@@PaulMats I did some research and a piston making an air gap in front of the tank would work as red tapebots seem to only do damage in a 5 block radius and pistons dont take damage and are untargetable to bots
Riot armor shields would be nice to have in this game, maybe mounted on a couple small wheels so you could push them around, to have a portable body-encompassing wall you take with you.
Suggestion for the red bots: If i saw it correctly the T3 metal didn't get destroyed by them, so how about a frontal T3 metal armor wall/plate on a T3 metal stick that's able to extend from the front of the tank. This way the "wall" can be pushed forward away from the tank as spaced armor and any red bot explosions will only have the seemingly invulnerable T3 metal in their explosion radius, leaving the rest of the tank intact. The easiest way then to mount the spudgun is on an extending piston to shoot over the wall, as to not add any holes in the frontal armor. Looking forward to the tank V2, and you've definitely motivated me to make my own tank.
Funny thing about the red tape bots: Your hull will survive, but the explosion radius will go past that and hurt all the juicy internals. The only way you could ever deal with red tape bots with a tank is build a set of extending armor. The piston(s) would have to be set far back enough so there is enough armor blocks between the plate and the piston. This creates spaced armor that protects the internals. Best thing to do is test it in creative
Tank drive with 4 buttons. Seat to an engine which connects to the up-down of the turret and steering for the left-right turret. Also connect the drive buttons + gun button to the seat. Then add an ammo container and connect it to the spudgun. The rest you can design as you want
@@abdulazizal-hagan9455 hahaha observe at 18:23 tank steering works by controlling the rotation of the left and right set of wheels separately. The reason it turns extra smooth is because he is using 4 engines to power the 6 wheels, 2 engines per side powering 3 wheels. Each wheel has a stack of 2 bearings rotating it.
@@abdulazizal-hagan9455 And a good item to put between the 2 bearings is the small barrel. Also make sure the inner bearings rotate to the other direction than the outer. And 1 button per engine and that's it.
Hey kAN you should put pistons on the top of the tank and the tier 3 metal on the pistons connected by a switch so that when you are in the warehouse press the switch and you will have protection on the top of tank and also for the spud crate reinforcement you should cover it with tier 3 metal and leave a small hole so that you can refill it.
@@planetearth8044 No. That is fake. They used console commands to lift the restrictions and "justified" it by blowing those thing up. Blowing them up doesn't actually do anything.
@@anteshell lies, it is no fake execution, for 2 reasons, boom bots show that the entire warehouse is made of of actual blocks and can be destroyed, and by editing the games code to use console commands, it breaks the multiplayer functionallity, and therefore crashes the person joining, and if you still so believe it is fake, try it yourself, and btw, it would show you the console commands in the bottom left anyway. Good day.
I'm thinking a t3 metal net in front of the tank. There are many issues with this such as aim and size for the elevators, but I'm sure you can figure something out. If they dont destroy bearings, you might be able to make a piston out of bearings and t3 metal for the net, one more idea is to push all of the sensitive equipment to the back in cost of making the vehicle larger.
You need to use dual ammo boxes connected together so you can stay in your seat longer. Also, have a large chest on the back so that you can have spare parts in it for times where reds rek themselves. Beyond that, all I can think of is having a kind of "schuzen" in the form of the metal bars. Aka spaced armor that takes the blow before it reaches your main tank. You could put it on pistons to give you that much more distance between the tank and the bars.
I think by going in the elevator it may teleport you to an alternate dimension in-game. So, you will have to be in the floor of the loot in order for it to respawn. They may have also coded it so it doesn’t snt respawn but idk. Like so he can see.
kAN, I had an idea for an improvement on the tank. If you give the gun 180 degrees of rotation, you can shoot around corners, instead of having to position yourself each time there's a tape bot around the corner. Also, maybe put a shield around the spudgun to keep it from getting shot. Maybe move the wheels in one block and armor them as well. Idk how much this stuff will help, but I just thought it might be a good idea.
This was an awesome idea Kan very nice little tank, so unfortunate about the explosive tapebots. It looks like the blast radius took out the logic, wheels spudgun and even the container on the rear! Not the actual tier 3 metal. It's like the walls don't 'block' the blast So I don't think theres anyway round it unless you made the whole thing bigger or maybe a longer front just purely blocks? But then more awkward navigating the warehouse with such ease as it seems you did. I think like you said, gonna need to clear the last floor on foot, I was also wandering how you were going to deal with the vents, I thought vehicles despawn off the lift if you don't place it in a certain amount of time? Any little tutorial of the tank coming our way? 😁🤤 Oh and just a little secret: if u carry your own explosive to the loot room theres a cracked wall on the bottom floor you can blow up which takes you directly to the elevator for the roof
Love the idea, though there's at times the tricky part where on final third floor you may have to crawl though vent ducts and that tank, as small as it is, won't fit into those. Hopefully tape bots indeed do aim at specific height, so your wheels may be safe, though the ammo container at the back can take a hit and (possibly?) get destroyed.
i liked the idea so much that i made a tank myself it worked soo smoothly, the only times i died were when i wasnt in the tank! thanks for the idea mate, cheers!
as for conserving spuds, you're invincible just put a saw on the front. for the fourth floor i would build a ballistic shield (big enough to fill the vents) that is just a tier3 metal wall with a shooting slit in it that i would move around with the lift, nothing on it for the red bots to destroy so ideally a saw tank u could use for the early floors with a detactable shield part that u could use for the last floor
The tier 3 metal tank idea is very good. Just need to cover all the destructibles with a layer of tier 3 metal(for the montable spud gun you can create a retractable door that can open en close to use the gun(cannon) this might help protecting the gun(theoraticaly), for the wheels just cover them along side with the ammo crate and try to take with you a crate to enter your loot items this way you will not run out of space) Love your vids KAN-man
I think that the micro tank need a controllable lid for better protection and a small chest on the side for storing loot as for soil bags, ramp pieces, healing food and backup parts and bombs too! Also the tire and the bullet storage need more protection too and some headlights for a brighter seeking
If you still wanted to do combat on-foot, one option would be to just carry an armored box with a tiny bedroom inside with you. I assume you can respawn in a bed in the warehouse.
As the explosive bots seems to not break the metal you should make te logic more protected, like under it on the center, and maybe add some ground clearance too, or add some ramps on the front, maybe it could help, nice video btw
Idea: put a bed in the bottom of the tank, Then sleep in it then take it off the lift so now if u die when getting out of ur tank u can respawn without the bed being in the way
Nice tank, I like it. What you can do is put a shield around the gun that moves with the gun. that should / could be destroyed when the red one attacks, Last time I was there I didn't bring enough potatos, so I just built walls on lifts cut a hole and shoot through that. If they agro on you, but caught in the wall you can just melee them they keep running forward. I ended up doing 2 floors like this, but it's very long and tedious work. This tank is better.
I have a Idea for a new gun called a glew gun, when you shoot a bot with it it would do damage over time and slow then, also you could use it as a sort of grappling hook. It would be hard to get since you would have to trade 1 farmer and 1 crate of pineapple and 1 crate of broccoli for 1 glue gun part, you would need 3 glue gun parts and a glue gun core which can only be found in warehouses where it has a 1 in 3 chance of spawning. Lastly as ammo for this gun you would use 5 glue and 5 chemicals for 10 glue gun ammo. If you guys agree then like, and if you have any other thoughts on it then comment.
This seems like way too much hassle for a damage over time gun/grappling hook, especially when we have guns that can just kill stuff in a few shots (Which you would likely have since you would need to raid warehouses)
I think you'd be better off trying to make a bed on the tank and doing the explosive floor manually, that way you don't have to bother with explosive resistance but also have no risk of spawning outside the warehouse.
Never thought it would possible to bring your creation into the warehouse. Maybe a respawn vehicle with reserve ammo could work too and it would save you those gawd damn elevator waiting times...
I think you should Build a flyer, fly to the top of the warehouse and loot it. Also should do some testing on what material is the best against explosions and make a shield around the spud gun.
Make the floor of your tank out of chests full of potatoes and cover up the spud storage in the back maybe put a little arch of metal over your head for a little extra protection maybe add a bed too
They should really add cameras that can feed video to terminals, would be sick to see a multiplayer tank with a driver and gunner and the gunner gets to see out the cannon or mg port
This comment is probably coming way too late, but Scrapman did discover that bots won't attack you if you're not in a seat and behind blocks, so all you really need to do is enclose yourself in a cockpit so you're not exposed, take the seat out and move the buttons so you can operate the tank without a seat. If you do that they barely even notice that you're there, they just flinch when you push the buttons.

I don' t know why but I had a really good laugh at this.
Red tape bot solution:
The answer is staring you in the face....literally! LOL
Back when I saw you take the chicken walker inside a warehouse, I decided to make my own warehouse crawler.
That tank save at the end was awesome.
Kan:this tank is invincible
Red tape bot: I'm about to end this man's whole carrier (coffin dance)
Kan's tank: lol, no. (Tier 3 Metal is invincible for all types of bots except farmbot)
Logic blocks and spud container: lol yes
Just a suggestion, not all warehouses are empty apart from the last loot room, most have a few 'hidden' green crates on each elevator-floor. Including but not limited too:
- In bathrooms
- In floors/ceilings
- In some of those metal 'fence cages' (the ones like you see at for example 8:40 in the vid)
- 'Out of bounds' (read: sections of the warehouse you dont usually see, the outside of the vents section, that kind of stuff)
That said im not 100% sure this applies to all worlds, or only those created after a certain patch, in my first world i hardly had any green crates in any warehouse (occasionally find 1-2 in the entire place) made a new world after a few patches (because i made something so complex i couldn't load first world anymore lols) and now im finding green crates in all the warehouses (like 2-4 each elevator-floor)
I'm surprised out of all these youtubers I seen run through a warehouse that none of them notice that the Elevator is attached to the Blue Room of each floor.
Wdym?
Blue room? The office?
@@dnr-vs1lk The Office is Teal. If you notice the room in 13:00 and 23:12, the Pillars, floor, walls, etc they have blue on them.
Kan you should put a vacuum on the bottom of the tank that connects to a chest so you just drive over loot instead of getting out of the tank and collecting it
I don't think that works.
It doesn’t
That would be to big for a warehouse vehicle.
Isaiah White your probably right I’ve never played the game so I don’t know
this is not a functional system as you can only pick up free floating items by hand, there is no form of automatic item collection
add a loot collector to the tank so you dont need to exit the tank
there is nothing that can pick up free floating items on the ground therefore in the loot room you cannot pick up the items after destroying the loot crates without exiting your vehicle
Demonic Demon or any other drops throughout the warehouse*
Let's ask the developers for a item Sucker
Yeah the vaccuum pump should pick up items
@Demonic Demon the loot I'm talking about is the loot from tapebots

Tank idea- build a roof system that makes protected pistons come down to make a covered roof.
Idea 2- put spud guns in pairs of 3 around the tank for a wider spread and possibly more damage if you can make them aim at the same spot.
Fireflare 908 the tape bots are one shot anyway
@@gabrielmartin2429 It could still be helpful at times.
Fireflare 908 It’s add unnecessary weight.
Only if you hit their head, which the turret is at the right height for if fighting on flat ground.
In addition, that would waste a lot of spuds
I would suggest some shields or spaced armor that keep explosions away from vulnerable parts... But there is no more space in tunnels.
Maybe, some redesign, move guns and AI components to the back section and cover them by a driver body XD
Maybe make the front section flatter, so shots will fly above it?
What about pistons and their weird collision model? Some piston-based space armor?..
maybe you can add a front wall of tier 3 metal on pistons (it should have decent buffer so pistons wont break from explosion) and use wall when red guys appear. Like an active tank armor)))
Pistons don’t take damage, they don’t have collision, like suspension. The splash from the explosion would still go through and break the logic.
I looked at the name and thought, “what is kan up to now?”
Building micro tanks and invading warehouses
As always, he's up to more shenanigans! lol
Suggestion for the red bots:
If i saw it correctly the T3 metal didn't get destroyed by them, so how about a frontal T3 metal armor wall/plate on a T3 metal stick that's able to extend from the front of the tank.
Shout out to everyone, elevator doors can glitch so that they are "closed" when they should be open
I think you should put another layer of metal 3 so that the wheels will be better protected i think
I’m a believer to the best you tuber
Funny thing about the red tape bots: Your hull will survive, but the explosion radius will go past that and hurt all the juicy internals. The only way you could ever deal with red tape bots with a tank is build a set of extending armor. The piston(s) would have to be set far back enough so there is enough armor blocks between the plate and the piston. This creates spaced armor that protects the internals. Best thing to do is test it in creative
Can you do a tutorial on how to build it?
Tank drive with 4 buttons. Seat to an engine which connects to the up-down of the turret and steering for the left-right turret. Also connect the drive buttons + gun button to the seat. Then add an ammo container and connect it to the spudgun. The rest you can design as you want
Spyrgeli Spyy thx
@@spyrgelispyy how is he turning on spot like that though?
@@abdulazizal-hagan9455 hahaha observe at 18:23 tank steering works by controlling the rotation of the left and right set of wheels separately. The reason it turns extra smooth is because he is using 4 engines to power the 6 wheels, 2 engines per side powering 3 wheels. Each wheel has a stack of 2 bearings rotating it.
@@abdulazizal-hagan9455 And a good item to put between the 2 bearings is the small barrel. Also make sure the inner bearings rotate to the other direction than the outer. And 1 button per engine and that's it.
This is why i love creating games. Always a way to become OP!
I mean you can always add a bed to the tank back, as long as it doesn't break you have a spawn point on the final floor
beds don't work inside warehouses.
That was stated somewhere in an update changelog
Hey kAN you should put pistons on the top of the tank and the tier 3 metal on the pistons connected by a switch so that when you are in the warehouse press the switch and you will have protection on the top of tank and also for the spud crate reinforcement you should cover it with tier 3 metal and leave a small hole so that you can refill it.
you should try blowing up things and taking them out of the warehouse..
Blowing them up completely destroys it
Yeah blow things up just like iballisticsquid did
Blow up the encryptors you mean? Squid did that
@@planetearth8044 No.
Good day.

The Tapebots that don't notice you right away are probably like "Hello fellow rogue machine!" and then bam their head explodes from spud
Never knew i could fall in love with a brick but well here we go
I'm thinking a t3 metal net in front of the tank.
Kan: I am gonna destroy this warehouse with a tank
Tape bot: Oh no we are dead
Red tape bot: Hold my beer I am gonna end this guy's whole career
The tapbots seem to aim at a specific hight above the ground. So you could place the spudgun on the "roof" of the tank and it should be a lot safer
tapebots aim directly at the control seat of the creation
Loved how happy Kan was when the potatoes bumped the tank off the roof
I would recommend using spaced armour to keep the blast away from vital components
kAN, I had an idea for an improvement on the tank.
22:00 That's what real MBT designers are trying to achieve last 50 years
MBT - main battle tank
Oh and just a little secret: if u carry your own explosive to the loot room theres a cracked wall on the bottom floor you can blow up which takes you directly to the elevator for the roof
Scrapman just did a zero deaths warehouse run so.......
Kan: how would you deal with this without a tank?!?
Scrapman: Extremely easily.
Love the idea, though there's at times the tricky part where on final third floor you may have to crawl though vent ducts and that tank, as small as it is, won't fit into those. Hopefully tape bots indeed do aim at specific height, so your wheels may be safe, though the ammo container at the back can take a hit and (possibly?) get destroyed.
i liked the idea so much that i made a tank myself it worked soo smoothly, the only times i died were when i wasnt in the tank! thanks for the idea mate, cheers!
as for conserving spuds, you're invincible just put a saw on the front.
for the fourth floor i would build a ballistic shield (big enough to fill the vents) that is just a tier3 metal wall with a shooting slit in it that i would move around with the lift, nothing on it for the red bots to destroy
so ideally a saw tank u could use for the early floors with a detactable shield part that u could use for the last floor
Tier 3 metal is bomb proof
The tier 3 metal tank idea is very good. Just need to cover all the destructibles with a layer of tier 3 metal(for the montable spud gun you can create a retractable door that can open en close to use the gun(cannon) this might help protecting the gun(theoraticaly), for the wheels just cover them along side with the ammo crate and try to take with you a crate to enter your loot items this way you will not run out of space)
Love your vids KAN-man
I think that the micro tank need a controllable lid for better protection and a small chest on the side for storing loot as for soil bags, ramp pieces, healing food and backup parts and bombs too! Also the tire and the bullet storage need more protection too and some headlights for a brighter seeking
9:55
Kan: Omae wa mou shindeiru
Tapebot: NANI?!?!?!??!?!!?!!!???
Spud gun: Cachuk
This is the kind of scrap mechanic came for. I love your videos. Keep it up.
Hey kan, add a small free spinning wheel to the lower middle part on the front of the tank, that way going up and down stairs / ramps is easier.

Idea: put a bed in the bottom of the tank,
Then sleep in it
then take it off the lift
so now if u die when getting out of ur tank u can respawn without the bed being in the way
You cant sleep in warehouses
You could always mount the spudgun on an extending piston, so you can blindly shoot around corners.
Dev's: no the wharehouse is ment to be hard.
Kan: ha ha tank go brrrm
Nice tank, I like it. What you can do is put a shield around the gun that moves with the gun. that should / could be destroyed when the red one attacks,
Last time I was there I didn't bring enough potatos, so I just built walls on lifts cut a hole and shoot through that.
@@neonblade8591That is true so I would just say the 3 glue gun parts!
I think the gun would kill in 1 shot

The Tank Idea is extreamly good
Everybody Gangsta till Kan rolls up in a tank
I think you'd be better off trying to make a bed on the tank and doing the explosive floor manually, that way you don't have to bother with explosive resistance but also have no risk of spawning outside the warehouse.
beds do not work inside warehouse anymore. That was changed with the last (iirc) update
Improvement list:
- Bathtub armor, definetly
- First person aiming redicule
- Wheel covers
Never thought it would possible to bring your creation into the warehouse.
Maybe a respawn vehicle with reserve ammo could work too and it would save you those gawd damn elevator waiting times...
No respawning inside warehouses anymore. That possibility was removed in an update.
So it was possible one time. Dang it. Ty 4 the info :3
3000 IQ Play, kAN is a genius
I think you should Build a flyer, fly to the top of the warehouse and loot it. Also should do some testing on what material is the best against explosions and make a shield around the spud gun.
Make the floor of your tank out of chests full of potatoes and cover up the spud storage in the back maybe put a little arch of metal over your head for a little extra protection maybe add a bed too
Also keep back up wheels, spud guns, engines, storage containers, and other materials in your inventory
