How do you get people to look past the A word (Autism)? Even if it is high functioning? I have been wanting to give the whole dating thing a try but even with a few women who I thought things were going well with, they always backed out before there was ever any face to face meeting? It doesn't matter if I am being simple or deep, I have tried so many things. I feel that I have decent enough looks, intellect, likeability factors and more than enough good stuff to offer. I have tried pouring out who I am, and I consider myself to be quite deep when I get to know enough about someone. So if there is any advice you can give me with this, I am all ears, cause I would love to find her someday, someone who is also deep and just real/true to themselves, o if there is a way to present this better or just whatever, please, please, please let me know:
"When I look at/experience stuff, like say, rocks, wind, touch, facial expressions, vocals/tones, emotion...everything, they/life are all like living/emotional objects to me, absolutely everything is, and in that way everything is the same thing/countless emotions/senses/etc forever changing, like that of constantly changing/moving water/ripples/vibrations/etc where me and everything else is just that, so the concept of anything being separate from one another took me quite some time to grasp :)
When I was on pills, I understood measurement/perspective, things being separate, nothingness, emptiness, boredom, vastly dulled emotions, death, time, and the world felt and even look like it had a lot less colourations/shades/depth, like it was a lot more 2 dimensional looking compared to my normal self and I felt much like an actual/literal zombie (Again, compared to my normal self) and all of this bought forth what to me was a new kind of fear, the fear of being alone, of death, of nothingness T_T
I then needed to find stuff to try to fill in this new concept of emptiness, of a kind of darkness/loss that I had never known before, of creating+faking emotions to try and fill the void and “time” seemed to move much faster as so much amazing+intense stuff was missing. I must keep emphasizing that without the pills, everything (Yes, emotions/sounds/etc too...everything) is like an ever changing bombardment of ripples, waves, vibrations and tones where emotions are everywhere and everything T_T
All too often, due to many Autistics physical/verbal/emotional/etc reactions this easily makes it look like a fair number of people on the spectrum don’t have much in the ways of emotion/etc, that we don’t really care about how others feel, that we shut ourselves off from emotions and so on, but I say that the problems are in the fact that too many of these “expert” researchers are comparing us to the average persons, and I see that as being a truly massive mistake on their part…
I live as emotion with forever changing emotion all around, and it is a super intense lifestyle, but when I was on the pills, they opened my eyes to another way of living/looking at/experiencing things/life and for me the way I naturally live (Without the pills) is the way I want to live even though for most others, it would probably send them into madness, just as the pills introduced me to a way of looking at/experiencing things that to me was it’s own world of madness…
This has all combined together to give me some very interesting perspectives/understandings, like a bridge between the 2 worlds, and I think that I have turned out very well as a result of it all, and I have even spoken in a couple of events before too, and being on the pills made colours and so much other stuff really dulled down, almost like being shut in a dark cold room, torn away from life’ love/a mother torn away from her child.
Without pills, everything is much brighter and sharper in an intensity soothing (non blinding with the right environments/etc) kind of way (Like floating+melting, as if being filled with water in a very cooling/cleansing way, as if I am about to enter heavens cool yet warming light), being able to see countless more shades/etc then I otherwise would due to things being so much more detailed, like looking at/feeling never ending/forever changing tapestries of bright liquid crystal silver light :)
Here is one of the pieces of poetry that I typed a while back that I think would go pretty well with this:
May your souls of ghostly liquid light spread their cleansing chills to hauntingly beautiful tones and vibrations in the never ending melodies of mysterious holy darkness in life’s eerily eternal song of infinitely awe inspiring complexities, turning fear into enhanced awareness & illuminating the way for others through the experiences of angels through us T_T"
I have also given Women a glimpse into other experiences that are important to me, and on top of all that I have asked questions with giving my own answers to them so that me and her can really get to know about our favourite hobbies, shows, foods and so on.

I'm a single guy in his early 20s and I'm really damn tired of hearing MGTOW people telling me to "abandon ye hope all who enter here" and never get married. So thank you for this video. I want to take my time but at the same time, I would like to get married or at least in the process of marriage before I hit 30. Modern feminism today scares the hell out of me but I still do want to raise a family and have kids. I believe I'll be a good father. Thank you for the video :)

Good for you! I’ve only been married two years, but it’s great and my husband would agree!
I showed up to our first date (met online) with a list of pre-marital counseling questions. We made a game out of discussing a few questions each date. We matched up on all of the major questions about religion, political persuasion, and life goals. Everything else was easy to keep an open mind about because it wasn’t important to either of us.
Almost 3 years, a wedding, and one child later, I have no regrets. He is now my best friend. Marriage to the right person for the right reasons is a blessing, not a curse. I highly recommend it!

@philspaghet I TOTALLY understand your viewpoint. I felt like you when I was young. However MGTOW guys have it right. Life will teach you the hard way or you can follow wise advice. Your Purpose as a MAN does NOT involve wife and family. Furthermore, getting married and having children in USA puts you on a path of being betrayed by wife and children and destroyed by govt if done in the West. My success story is ever greater that DBP's. His story doesn't hold a candle to mine and what I have avcomplished and overcone so he cannot dismiss me as an irrelevant loser. I will say that if you genuinely want to have a family, wait until you have secured lifetime financial security in your 40s 50s or even 60s and can move to Phillipines, Thailand, Eastern Europe, etc where marriage and family is not under assault by Gov't and society.

    • @philspaghet
      @philspaghet Рік тому +7

@andre1987eph bro I want my wife to find me attractive, I'm not going to wait till my 40s. Also, statistics are easily manipulated. I'm a devout Christian man, by that alone my chances of finding a traditional woman go up from maybe 5-10% if you're a secular person to well over 60% when I couple that with the fact that I'm a pretty good judge of Christian character since I've been in ministry for so long since middle school.
As for lifetime security, I'm an engineer, I'll be making over 6 figures by the time I'm 30, I'll be fine when it comes to that. I don't want to marry a chick who would be my theoretical daughter's age lmao.

Interesting, I preached the same advice to my single friends! I'm always checking out girls for my husband😂😂 NUMBER 1 RULE I gave my husband when I met him. We DON'T FIGHT ABOUT MONEY! We talk and find a solution. Marriage is like a business, you invest on eachother, you strategize solutions, etc. If your investment is not helping you grow or bringing the business(family) down then time to reinvest or find a new business. I have to say this: Your marriage advice that you give people here is one of the best I've heard! I know you are not a marriage expert, but I think every married person can give at least a little helpful advice about marriage. I also want to say that I love your videos, they are full of important information for entrepreneurs. I like people like you who get to the point fast without fluff and a lot of self promotion. And I love your honesty!
As far as marriage and entrepreneurs I also have a little advice as an ex-married person: if you are single and an entrepreneur or are considering having your own business, make sure your partner is going to be at least opened to the idea (if not entrepreneur herself or himself). You cannot imagine the struggle you'll have with people who do not trust in your abilities that you can do this and constantly tell you to give up and get a job because is the "safest" and "best" way to live. Particularly when you start your own business is going to be a lot of work to build it and it's going to take a while to make a constant stream of income, and if your partner does not support you in this, it's not impossible to be successful (there are lots of people who've done it), but it's going to be a constant struggle.
Anyway, thanks for the video, and keep them coming!

I'm really glad I saw this in my feed; this is gold! I'm a middle aged bachelor and an aspiring freelancer. I am wrestling with the question of getting married or not one day; currently unfortunately I have no gf or any prospects - the pandemic isn't helping now in finding compatible ladies ha ha. This has to be one of your best episodes on your channel. Good marriages have been proven (based on stats; and yes, not every good marriage produces the following) to bring guys elevated levels of positive perspective, ambition, job promotion, earnings and health. I found that question one would pose regarding a hypothetical daughter to be great, and as for me (which is a bit brutally awkward to accept, but accept I will) the answer would sadly be a clear no. Man, I have so much to work on. Thanks once again for this covering this topic. I wish you and the Mrs. many years of happiness!

If you look for red flags, scan guys like a detective, leave after they shout at you, show signs of controlling, jealous behaviour, choose a kind hearted person that tries to give you everything, time, alone time, support - financial, emotional etc. - you will not fail. Many settle or choose a person because of looks, sex, etc. so their marriage fails.

Pat, you are 100% right. Common beliefs are everything, BUT you first have to be able to define those beliefs outside of what your family, and culture at large, is telling you who you are. This is the work most of us don't want to do. It's uncomfortable. So we choose to settle with the familiar and thus, end up in a disastrous marriage.🤔 btw you're hilarious 😂

You know... I really like you and your way of thinking. I sent this video to my sons (who are currently 28 and 32). I believe they will get a lot out of it and lead to more discussions about where they want to go and what they want to do in life. Mostly though, I like the great example of you, your family values - and business. Keep it coming.

I'm married (for 13 yrs now) with kids, and my wife makes it next to impossible for me to invest and pursue my dreams of starting a business. She wants to have a house and be wealthy and live the lifestyle ...
BUT she doesn't want to put in the work...she wants to get the results without putting in the work. Once we have some money saved up she wants vacations, she wants to spend her money on eBay and shopping and eating out, and car parts (not to fix but to making it look custom)...and it's driving me crazy.
When I'm trying to invest in stocks... she complains but when she wants this new car parts, shes first to go for it without asking me and the crap is worth more than what I want to start investing with.
Needless to say we argue about finances all the time. I want to take her to finance meetings but she declines... Sorry for ranting...but I don't know what else to do.

Patrick the first time that I saw this video was about four years ago when I was just getting out of the IDF. While I was in the military I was building a business on the side. Borrowed money and have built a business that I still have. Once I got out of the military I began building a second business, and although I was fortunate to have the second business be a success within an year. I lived like I was still in the military meaning a one bedroom apartment and an average car. I planned to get married and I was planning to be more financially solid then at that time. She felt differently about it and instead of leaving she stepped out. I have since then bought two other companies and real estate properties. I should have mentioned that the apartment I was living in was being owned by me. Now I'm where I want to be financially and I love my life. I'm not excessively promiscuous I enjoy reading a lot and continue practicing martial arts. My family and the Rabbi at the Synagogue thinks that I should get married but I'm not sure I want to do that. I am not into the club scenes, bars, or any of that other stuff. I don't drink a lot maybe some scotch on Thursday or Friday. Other than that I lead a clean life in the sense of a clear mind, life, and body. I think I have watched this video one hundred times. (P.S. I have read every book I have seen your recommend on here from the videos I watched. Built quite a library that way.) All of this being said I'm not sure I want a family, or children, or the things that most of my parents do. You have provided a lot of clarity here. Thanks

Good Video, Sad Nobody told me this 30 years before! I'm finally content with who I am as I've overcome many insecurities and faults, became more centred and well-rounded and courageous; though still have things to work on like I want to take up boxing or a martial art, and attend improvised comedy classes. But I don't feel I'm ready for dating let alone marriage, mainly for my lack of time and money at the moment, being a uni student and raising an infant by myself. Stoic philosophers and having a men's coach as a mentor certainly helped me on a path to maturity and self-awareness. Used to hate the mirror but after years of work, I'm genuinely proud of myself.

  • @theresaowen7044

The most important decision you ever make is whom you marry. This is your "other half," the mother or father of your children, the person who decides much of the spending, her/his impressions on others will reflect on you too, her/his family becomes your family. The right partner will make your success exponential, but the wrong person will ruin your life even long after the divorce. Many people will pretend to be someone they are not, until it is too late, so get to really know them. People can 'say' anything, but not follow through. Imagine what that person will be like going through a divorce; are they vengeful, bad-tempered? On the other hand, early marriage can be extremely healthy physically and emotionally and help you financially. The stability and support a good marriage offers is substantial. Consider a very cheap wedding and save for more important investments or travel. Weddings do not need to be expensive to be fun and memorable.
