After my total knee replacements both k eyes 6 months apart. I started rehab immediately. After 25 yrs. in the army and many injuries I know real recovery comes through physical therapy. I went to therapy several times a week. When I was home and watching tv I'd take a rope with a loop at the end and pull my foot back. Never let your knee get stiff. It took me two years fully recover and the two knees really became part of me. Like I said earlier the new knees are almost as good as the ones Mom gave me. I snap kick, side kick, and a fair crescent kick. My only problem is I can't sit on my heals.

Week 6 post meniscus repair and ACL reconstruction, and though my leg muscles are getting stronger, I’m struggling bending past 42 degrees which is quite frustrating. I will try some of these at home. Thanks

I have had the knee glide for a few weeks now and I have been using it each night in three positions, and it is helping to get me
better bend and this is pre surgery. It is well build and easy to use, so I am helping it will be equally helpful after my surgery in 6 weeks. Sure glad they created it.

Love your clip guys and so joyed to see Bob is okay.
In Australia no one had heard of the knee guild and I've been using a skate board which works the same and after several weeks I've had to screw a piece of timber to the top to increase my RoM in both knees.

I had Bilateral knee replacements 11-3-17. I did not want to sit on the ball. So I put it on my bed and that did two things for me : 1) I was able to work on the bending, and 2) it was great for elevation! I used my gait strap to straighten my leg, then used the fulcrum idea to raise my leg, because it was so darn painful to get my legs up on the ball. But really, a four-square size ball would work just as well either on the bed or on the floor. Thanks for the video! You guys rock!

The knee glide is a good idea, but if you have an office chair with wheels, place your feet on the ground and use your hands on a desk or table to pull the chair forward. This is the same motion as the glide but you don't need to pull or push with a strap. I found this much easier and I could do it whilst using the PC or watching UA-cam as a distraction to the pain. It's similar to the wheelchair but I think more people have an office chair than a wheelchair.

One knee glide just sold! Does seem a bit pricey but I love your videos so it's worth it to me to support you. I'm at week five post-op battling that scar tissue issue so I am trusting this will help me. I'll leave a review in a few weeks.

Thank. you guys so much. My TKR was 12/16/19. Last day of PT was early March and achieved 122 degree before the pandemic shut the clinic down. I am trying to find ways on my own to get the most bend out of my knee before scar tissues starts to impose. Measured my ROM yesterday and it was about 120. Disappointed that I lost a few degrees. What other exercises can I do at home to try and get the max bend before it is too late? A lot of the ones in this video I am able to do with ease. I need to find a way to increase bend even more. TIA.

I had bi lateral tkr 2yrs ago and left knee does not fully extend straight out when setting in a chair. Doc says its 10% lag knee. mri says all good. When i walk it gives out some and caused me pain as in siatica and surgery and a coflex in back. doc says i had to billed up strenght in quard . After 8wks pt and 9 months 3x a week of gym there is no difference. My knee will extend fully when legs are flat on floor or gets some help to extend it. Is there something I can do or is it too late for this 70 yr old knee ? Thanks for any input

Do not over do your PT. I found that doing aquatic exercises at Golds Gym has helped me like no other PT! There’s plenty of water exercises on UA-cam that you can watch and practice at a gym that has a pool and you won’t feel like you’ve been through aggressive PT. I love it...🌺🏊🏻‍♀️🏊🏻‍♀️🏊🏻‍♀️

there is overdoing, but this must be done into severe pain, if you want mobility back. I have had 3 knee surgeries, my husband 2. The pull back, past extreme pain 2x a day, is critical.

Could you please do a video on physio for your toes. On my right foot, the 3rd,4th and pinky toe won't flex so I can't stand on my tip toes. This is because of the nerve damage from my herniated disc 16 years ago. I've been able to strengthen my lower leg and ankle as best I can, despite physios and doctors telling me I'd never gain any strength there again. So if you have any exercises to straighten and strengthen the toes and outer edge of the foot I'd really appreciate it. Thanks guys, you're awesome xx

being a karate enthusiast you can sit on your heals. I also am a karate enthusiast and have two total knee replacements. My new knees are almost as good as the ones mom gave me, but I can't sit on my heals. Both knees bend more than 110-120 degrees. But I can't sit on my heals anymore. Is there anything I can do to be able to sit on my heals. I am 70 and have no Time problems in the dojo.
