As one of the previous viewers mentioned, inspecting the duct work with a flashlight and camera before and after the cleaning is a good idea. I was shocked when I started looking into the ductwork of houses. A cell phone is what I generally use to inspect. Thank you for demonstrating this product.
You are correct. We alway give a free inspection with the estimate before the cleaning and use our cell phone and a 20 foot lighted cable camera as well when needed. After cleaning we usually will randomly pick 3-4 ducts to post inspect along with the return. Thanks for the comment!
If you pay someone to professionals to clean your ductwork , I suggest you buy or rent a lighted bore scope with a camera and inspect it yourself before and after. There is too many people getting screwed over by these so called professionals. You can get one fairly cheap from Amazon.
Oh we have cameras and on some of our videos especially on our Facebook pages we show the before and after‘s by using the cameras. But honestly we don’t use it as much as most people might think.
I recently bought the ram air system , what compressor should I use?? ihave the delwat 225 psi Should be fine with that ?? I also using it with a truck mount carpet cleaning Also how do I clean the col return trunk line ?? Should I drill a hole ?? Need help thanks in advance
Drilling any type of holes into the ductwork requires a hvac license. With that said, using the ramair you will not be able to really clean the trunk line effectively 100%. The vacuum suction just doesnt go that far due to physical limitations. Its a hit or miss.
Dreamer’s Disease My guys and I really like it and we get great results. We do use other tools though besides just the ram air system and intergrade them together.
@@colortexcleaningrestoratio6309 So great to hear you love the system. Have you tried our AirWhip? Keep up the good work, and let me know if you need anything.
David Hart we actually have a video that we posted about a year ago of us cleaning ceiling vents in a retirement home using your air whip. It’s amazing what came out of those vents and the air whip broke everything loose. You actually can hear the air whip beating the inside of the vent as we clean it.
We’ve been using this system for four years combined with a couple other air whips and tools and have great results. We clean out all branch lines this way now with no issues of debris getting hung up on dampers
@@matthewdockter7017 I can tell you that we have fabricated some of the stuff ourselves to really utilize this process to it’s highest potential. The other tools being used are viper rods and whips . The stuff that we have fabricated are proprietary to us and can’t show or talk much about them. But I can say that with these items we can completely clean any homes air duct system and even commercial buildings.

What product would you use for air ducts in the ceiling like they have in the south?

To start out 175 psi Dewalt compressor will work fine but as you work up in progress a pneumatic compressor is what I highly recommend

So you still use Ram Air system? How do you feel about it now?

David Hart yea we use your air whip quite a bit depending on what type of duct we’re cleaning with great results.

This system sucks, we used it at work and it just doesn’t get all the debris out
