If there is a rat nest it’s time to replace the air ducts not clean SMH
Good clean love the squeegee all that soil out if the rug😍😍😍😍😍😍
Beautiful clean 😍😍😍😍😍😍😂
Is it better than the Rotovac power wand?
Absolutely! It’s like comparing a Cadillac to Prius. The Zipper is built like a tank and when you order it they ask you a series of questions to customize it for you and to set it up for the type of truck mount you have, whether your right handed or left, and even your height. But there are several more questions but it’s their attention to detail why the zipper is second to none! To me it’s the best tool to hit the carpet cleaning industry since the wand.
so nice that it cleans on forward and backward strokes!!! steam junkie here from Bristol area!!!’ nice work!!!
What product would you use for air ducts in the ceiling like they have in the south?
WHERE DOES THE DIRT GO
You guys might think I crazy but I used to use awesome mixed 50% let dwell little then spray with the peroxide based encapsulation from interlink forgot name thg when red pad, then white pad with green strips. Came out just as good or better then any hwe I ever seen I was dry before I left. Never owned a machine would just rent machine $35 at home depot. Then collect $450, never less $300 per job. Going buy a hawk glide freedom forward motion 175 and get back in this game. Wish me luck
What awesome did you use ?
dry time really under 30 minutes with that for upholstery?? i just bought one myself to use with my portable with dual 3 stage vacs and heat
As one of the previous viewers mentioned, inspecting the duct work with a flashlight and camera before and after the cleaning is a good idea. I was shocked when I started looking into the ductwork of houses. A cell phone is what I generally use to inspect. Thank you for demonstrating this product.
You are correct. We alway give a free inspection with the estimate before the cleaning and use our cell phone and a 20 foot lighted cable camera as well when needed. After cleaning we usually will randomly pick 3-4 ducts to post inspect along with the return. Thanks for the comment!
whats the full name of this equipment please? thanks
How big of a vacuum and air compressor?
The vacuum system is designed for air duct cleaning it is made by Ram Air international and the compressor is a 175 psi pneumatic compressor
Whats the dry time like.
Our dry times are really good for us and it really depends a lot on the type of Truckmount being used with it and also the size blower on the truck mount. On a job like this one it takes around 1.5 - 2 hours to dry. On commercial glue down our dry times are an hour or less on average.
Cheers. Such an efficient design.
@@forwhatitsworth364 I’ve owned this carpet cleaning company for 24 years and to me this has been the best and most amazing advancement in the industry. For big commercial carpet cleaning jobs it literally cuts the cleaning time in half from the carpet wand cleaning. And it cleans and flushes so much better.
Im just slowly building my set up. Picked up a hoss 700 for pretty cheap but will be investing in one of these as soon as possible. Love that its light and no extra power cord.
If you pay someone to professionals to clean your ductwork , I suggest you buy or rent a lighted bore scope with a camera and inspect it yourself before and after. There is too many people getting screwed over by these so called professionals. You can get one fairly cheap from Amazon.
Oh we have cameras and on some of our videos especially on our Facebook pages we show the before and after‘s by using the cameras. But honestly we don’t use it as much as most people might think.
I recently bought the ram air system , what compressor should I use?? ihave the delwat 225 psi Should be fine with that ?? I also using it with a truck mount carpet cleaning Also how do I clean the col return trunk line ?? Should I drill a hole ?? Need help thanks in advance
To start out 175 psi Dewalt compressor will work fine but as you work up in progress a pneumatic compressor is what I highly recommend
Drilling any type of holes into the ductwork requires a hvac license. With that said, using the ramair you will not be able to really clean the trunk line effectively 100%. The vacuum suction just doesnt go that far due to physical limitations. Its a hit or miss.
This system sucks, we used it at work and it just doesn’t get all the debris out
We’ve been using this system for four years combined with a couple other air whips and tools and have great results. We clean out all branch lines this way now with no issues of debris getting hung up on dampers
@@colortexcleaningrestoratio6309 can you link me to the other tools you’re using?
@@matthewdockter7017 I can tell you that we have fabricated some of the stuff ourselves to really utilize this process to it’s highest potential. The other tools being used are viper rods and whips . The stuff that we have fabricated are proprietary to us and can’t show or talk much about them. But I can say that with these items we can completely clean any homes air duct system and even commercial buildings.
Wow! So clean!!!
Arrøw_Paw Thank you! Our process really is amazing and thorough
Nice! What chemicals are you using here?
mooreoftom we are using Angry lemon and detonator
Very cool, I love the innovation of the round dome.
David Hart in our area we have a lot of homes with different size round ceiling vents and so one day while cleaning some I came out with this idea. My next project is to find a big strong suction cup that I can put on the end of an extension pole to suction to the dome cove and also to our Ram air cover for ceiling vents. That way there is no risk of it sliding out of place and falling. You can raise the pole up with it suctioned on with ease. I think this will also cut out the need for a second helper on some jobs. Since most the time it takes two guys to put the cover over ceiling vents with an extension pole.
@@colortexcleaningrestoratio6309 Where I can buy same plastics to clean the vents?
So you still use Ram Air system? How do you feel about it now?
Dreamer’s Disease My guys and I really like it and we get great results. We do use other tools though besides just the ram air system and intergrade them together.
@@colortexcleaningrestoratio6309 So great to hear you love the system. Have you tried our AirWhip? Keep up the good work, and let me know if you need anything.
David Hart yea we use your air whip quite a bit depending on what type of duct we’re cleaning with great results.
David Hart we actually have a video that we posted about a year ago of us cleaning ceiling vents in a retirement home using your air whip. It’s amazing what came out of those vents and the air whip broke everything loose. You actually can hear the air whip beating the inside of the vent as we clean it.
man that whip really works !
Yes it does! We have several different sizes for aggressiveness and usually one pass does the job. It’s aggressive enough to clean thoroughly but still gentle enough not to damage any flex lines.
Color Tex Cleaning & Restoration TJ Ferguson i love it ! That’s awesome , so fast !!
Integrity Cleaning we’ve used several methods over the years just trying to better our process and these whips are fast and easy compared to some other methods and by far have given us the best results. I highly recommend going that route if you clean air ducts or are going to get into it. We also use them with reverse blow balls as well when we don’t need as much agitation. It’s hard to get good videos of duct cleaning but this does show them in action pretty well.
Color Tex Cleaning & Restoration TJ Ferguson totally understand that! Looking at my old carpet cleaning UA-cam videos vs my new ones, I can see a lot of process and equipment changes lol
Integrity Cleaning I’m constantly doing that and always trying to better our process.
What are you using for your whip gasket?
Toby Tyler I am using a single whip in this video that I purchased directly from Ram Air. I also have another whip that I like that is four thinner whip tubes that does a really good job too.
Cool. What'd you make that from? A kitchen bowl?
Eric Van Fossen it was a dome cover to a bird feeder that I found at Lowe’s. I looked everywhere for something that would work until I found this.
That IS cool. Great idea
Cool I just ordered one off amazon to try
Your a Pretty Smart Guy !! Thanks for putting it out there 👍
nice video, a few questions 1) what are using to pick up? just water or any rinses? 2) It looks like you are using a ziper machine, can you use any extracting machine? I have a AquaClean 18flx machine, and do use a standard wand, will that work just as well? 3) do you use any boosters? if so, which one? Thanks Mike
Thank you. In the video We are using a 15 inch zipper with a Judson van mount. I can’t remember the guys name who invented it but if you call them he is there to answer all the technical questions for you. He will even set it up for you whether you are left or right handed. I wanted to go with a 17 inch but he recommended against it because I would loose to much air flow. He’s really great at letting you know what size zipper would be a good fit for your machine. As far as a ringer I believe we were using a fiber rince during this video. We usually do so not to leave any chemical in the carpet and to neutralize the ph. As far as boosters go we do use a couple different kinds but we didn’t on this job. We ran this straight to test out the effectiveness of the product since it was our first trial run with it.
Thank you for quick reply and answers. Yeah i dont have a truck mount, only a walk behind machine with low psi. I believe only 60 psi, but i do use a standard wand with it and work pretty good. I ordered the special sauce sample, so hopefully it will work. I usually use flex ice as my rinse. Do you still use the Saiger Sauce today? Do you like it? recommend it? And do you think it work just as good without a zipper wand or is the wand very important to this process? Appreciate the feedback :)
I’ve used Flex ice and I really like it. I like a lot of the Flex line and have had good results with it. On really bad or commercial carpets I tend to lean towards the Sager sauce code red. I love it and it’s my go to pre spray. I use it over Flex and very rarely need a booster.
what ever camera you used looks really good and HD...WOW
Thank you. My fiancé was actually recording this on my i phone7. It's all I ever use for my videos and usually does a really good job. Thanks for checking out our video!
I applied it straight with no booster. I was impressed as well and have had amazing results with it since. I love adding a couple scoops of peroxy powder booster every now and then as well.
Very nice! Getting ready to order one ourselves.
