Is the wireless thermometer the only way to probe Combustion air intake for a direct vent piece of equipment? Other manufacturers you can bypass ambient temperature for your true net stack temp but with this it seems you can't
I’ve already got a Testo 300 and only this morning ordered a Testo smart probe heating kit because of the 510i as I’ve read that it can be used for a tightness test. Is this untrue?
In my country It was @ 70£ for the calibration … Things that matters: what tipe of sensors you have - generic or long life And the most important thing for the lifetime of the analizor and the sensors: the user - you most avoid poisoning the sensors… You must read the instruction manual for best practice In my country the guys from testo are very friendly and helpful😊 - this is why I accepted to pay 50£ for 6 paper tools for the Thermal printer😅😊 In total for calibration, set of replacement filters and 6 paper rools I paid @ 150£ - It is not the Best deal but to have friendly technical support you have to pay their salaries 😊
Hi Allen, the main issue atm is connecting it to my iPhone via the smart app. i have the smart probes they connect to app fine but not the 300. other issues, when i set the wifi connection on the 300 it does not stay connected. i have found no way to export any results to my phone for emailing to customer.
I can’t send anything to the app only way is set up an email address but then it doesn’t work over the phone data so I have to take it out at night and send it over my WiFi at home which is pain thought it would be seamless transition to the app but no big downside for me. might have to fork out for a printer😢
I got told if I am not commercial engineer wouldn’t need the second screen. It doesn’t connect apps for apple so that doesn’t work unless someone prove me wrong
Shot there’s selfs in the foot there I had the 510i says on the description for tightness and let’s bys pressure test pressure from -150mbar to 150mbar on multiple websites mine stopped working and was leaking they wouldn’t repair it as it wasn’t under warranty and not worth fixing so either multiple websites are lying or these fuckers are 😂
Nice video Allen. I’m having the same issue as a few of the other engineers are with connectivity to the app. I also have an issue that the unit doesn’t auto zero on startup unless you long press the power button. To me this FGA seems more flash than function

Me too, has a mind of its own. Tried on IOS and Android. Doesn't connect to either.

£120 for first 3 years then goes up slightly after that sensors get changed every 2-3 years

Biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent. Appalling service, sent unit back faulty after calibration.
