Fly Fishing is still one of those things I havent tried. Its super intriguing to me. One of those things that just gets a lower priority to spend cash on given other hobbies and priorities. I think Fly Fishing ane Fly Tying opens endless new hobbies lol.
Great debate on this one. Industry marketing wants to show you tons of fancy stuff that “makes you a better angler”. It’s not necessary in most situations. Simple flies, minimal gear, and time on the water or at the vise honing your abilities is what matters.

That'a a great looking fly my friend! Where do you think most beginner fly tiers get stuck when learning to tie?
Man that’s a great question. Thread tension and proportions are the biggest hurdles to getting flies to be “acceptable”. What do you think?
