Thank you. Gurglers are on of our favorite flies and we still fish them regularly. We made this Sipper so the fish actually sees a real baitfish profile slightly below the surface. Possibly helps when they have commitment issues :)
I look forward to try tying one of these. I bet spotted bass on the coosa would tear these up. Peter at Lost Angler Fly shop had mentioned to me about your space coast Fly's in the past I do believe. I'm from Satsuma and I would love to set down and tie with you sometime. Cool looking fly.
Really cool pattern and looks great moving in the water. This fly will definitely be going to Belize with me in hopes of meeting some of the natives there! Thanks.
Love the water this fly pushes, but I made 4 of these, and all 4 lasted 2-4 fish, and the foam snapped nearest the eye. What type of foam would y'all recommend? I fish primarily for striped bass and bluefish. All 4 were decent-sized flies, 2/0, about 4" long, maybe 8mm foam when glued.
Sounds like you have had success for sure. I use mainly high density EVA foam normally . I have made a more stout version using cross cut foam same thickness (8mm) from rainys. It’s stiffer and might be better for those blues with teeth.
Thank you for sharing. I love gurglers, and this seems like an improvement! Great design.

Wow that action is incredible with the aggressive strips!
Thanks. It definitely has some wild action when it dives.
That stop and wiggle 😮
Suuuuper cool!!

You guys are one of my favorite channels on YT❤
Nice pattern for jacks. I will try some out in a couple of different color schemes. Thanks for a good video.
@@edwardmlotkiewicz2343 The jacks definitely love them!
Great looking fly. I will have to tie some up for my trip to the keys in May . Thanks for sharing
Thanks! Good luck on the trip and let us know how they work for you.
Really enjoyed this tutorial. Thanks for making the video. I can't wait to tie some up.
Glad you liked it. Can’t wait to see everyone’s color combos and variations.
I know I will be tying a ton of these 😅
What width do you cut the foam for the different versions?

Thank you. I'm sure the Spots would eat them up. The Largemouth and Striper have been loving them too.

Could you make it weedless?
Absolutely. You can add a hard mono weedguard or a mono loop.
Nice
Be good for Peas
GSP for thread instead of waxed.
Nice video but skip the music please.
Turn down the volume if you don't care for it.
