An xenomorph is a completely different entity than every killing floor monster, unlike every creature in killing floor the xenomorph doesn't just run at you, there smart, they stalk their pray and pounce ripping them to shreds

If the pyro had access to his full gear they could hold their own against the xenomorphs a lot better than most. Flamethrower; Always shown as effective against the Aliens, Fire Suit; Better protection from the acid blood then most peoples clothing, Pyrovision; either a help or a hindrance, Lack of fear might confuse the Alien or lead the Pyro not to be wary enough.
Then you have the flare guns, the thermal thruster gives him more mobility than the Xeno's especially in Zero G.
The Gortbort Energy guns may also be good as the disintegrate rather than just burn so would bypass the Xeno Armour and remove the Acid Blood issue.

***** I don't like my drawings at all on paper. People tell me that they're alright, but nothing too special. Would getting a drawing pad on the computer help me out, or is it not worth spending the money on?
If You like drawing and plan on going through with it then You definitely should, it doesn`t have to be an expensive drawing pad either.
Getting a pad won't magically make you better at drawing. It's just a tool.
I got a Wacom Intuos for $150 and it's a great tool. Definitely much more comfortable to work with than pen & paper, specially since I tend to erase lines a lot which wears the paper. These things are very durable, even more so if you aren't an animator doing tons of frames.
