It's hot but if I can sit in my garage and it's we are having a heat wave then to me it's not that bad.. but again I'm comparing this with Texas! What I love is it could be 96 degrees in Beaverton but if I drive a little over an hour to Seaside Beach it's 76 degrees. I can escape the heat. 🙂
3:51 that’s the Willamette in Eugene at the Frohnmayer bridge, not Portland/Selwood like you were speaking of. River is drastically different in these two places.

Wasn't sure if anyone would notice that. 🫣 I am still ironing out the kinks as I transition to a new editor, and when I saw that I decided, "close enough!" 🤷 To me, it wasn't worth waiting an extra day to get the content out there, for them to make the revision! Because it was still the Willamette river, I figured I would give it a pass for B roll. But you're right, that shot is from a bit south of Portland. @@portlandoregonliving I appreciate the response but that’s a bit like talking about the Mississippi River in Louisiana and showing drone footage of it in Minnesota. Willamette falls on this river just south of Portland is the second largest fall by volume in the US. Niagara is first. Its power plants from 1890s and future return to native tribal fishing is an interesting story. Kayak up from the lower side is worth an excursion while it is still summer.
