Hey i don’t know if you’ll read this but my daughter turned one this month. This last year has been crazy. But one thing I could always count on is when she couldn’t sleep I would take her downstairs and put on a siege batter. It would calm her down enough to get her to fall asleep. I love your content and thank you for all the work you put in to it. Keeping it political free and just everything. For real man from my daughter and I thank you for the content:)

Cant believe someone called you a racist, that's like calling Bambi a cannibal. Btw the word slave came from Slav due to the number that were taken as slaves.
Actually more because at the time the main non-Christian - hence a-ok to enslave and trade - demographic in Europe were the pagan Slavs in the central and eastern parts. Didn't help that many of them were getting regularly hoofed by the succession of nomads drifting westwards across the great steppe belt who had no compunctions whatsoever about selling wholesale to whoever was buying.

It's because the chariots were charging into stalls, they drop quicker if they charge into already broken stalls, kinda like a glitch

@@vishwanathtigadi6689 I'm the Egyptian player (Cushing Shaun), Apollo missed alot of things that happened on our side of the battle. Though the Roman player was sub par, (Armoured Scarab) the Luisitani player is one of the best Rome 2 players out there. I used my 6 thureos spears to flank and shoot down his low armoured units. Luisitani shifted over the rest of his forces towards rome. While Armoured Scarab used his brain; the Roman Player (Fear Goose) the noob/ no offense, used brute force, managing to kill alot of my Infantry with his superior units!
Speaking of formations, Manor Lords looked interesting.

Is there any infantry that can hold against Kush's shotel warriors? I've been looking around the internet but none really answers. Seriously, their melee attack and defense alone is decent but the addition of armor piercing damage makes them so difficult to fight off!

19:39 so glad you brought this up. You can't say anything nowadays without making someone upset over nothing, like in this case, how is it racist to call something by its name? During the classic period slavery was a common phenomenon, almost everyone had slaves. Of course, even African populations. We already have to bear with bs like women as generals, can we at least don't worry about stuff like that and enjoy the game?
Why would you worry about those let extremists? They just bark, don't bite.
I wouldn't necesarily call woman as generals bs. It was rare but it happened sometimes, one example would be queen Amanirenas that leading the Kushite armies against Rome. The scythian queen Tomyris wouldbe another one, Cynane, a half sister to alexander the great, lead an army. There are also accounts of Lusitani women fighting alongside man, same goes for Bracari and Teutonic Ambrones. So while rare and unusual there are several acounts of woman fighting in battle or leading armies
@@sewi014 there was also queen boudicca from Iceni. I know all that, but there's difference between a few isolate cases and making all women from a faction generals, especially for greeks.

Helots weren't slaves, they were serfs. Though given how for example the Spartans treated _theirs_ many might well have preferred full-on enslavement because then they'd at least have had the distinction of being valuable property...
