After returning back to karate after a four year layoff, after over 25 years of training, I find your instructional videos an excellent source of reference material. Thank you 😀👍
After a 30 year break having snapped my ACL I thought my Karate days were over. I am back and thriving loving it and your instruction videos have been invaluable. Grading for 2Kyu soon, thank you for your dedication and love of Karate, Oss!
All of his videos are extremely helpful. I personally enjoy all of the 26 katas, but we all have our selective favorites we love to use or would love to properly learn. Out of all of the major styles I've had the opportunity to learn Shotokan became my most favorite one I've chosen to teach as my main base style. Arigato, Osu!
Over the years I have been following your videos and found them excellent in demonstration and commentary. With many thanks to you sensei I have just passed my black belt grading.
its really helpful watching it demonstrated at a slower speed , as it allows students to mentally absorb the postures and techniques , thanks for posting . :-)
@@lorensmortillaro1746 yeah, I still remember when I fought this adventure battle, it was really hard but with the lesson take by the mister Jackie I came out winner, uatanga, augg🦧👊

Fantastic video. Clearly explained and perfectly executed. This guy is excellent. Thanks, and thanks again.
Hello; for example: before the first keage geri/uraken uchi he forgot the stance!
Thank you for this kata it's really helped me in my shampion ship and because of it i have the black belt, honto arigato sensei
The Kanku-dai is, in my opinion, like a fingerprint of the karate (a compiltaion of all heian's).
Yeah, and that's why I keep confusing the eyan godan with the kanku dai
its not just heian kata, you can also see that there are kataslike basai dai kanku sho and a few more in kanku dai as well
I believe this man is the best internet sensei.
Thank you! I won from a brown belt in championship and I am blue belt!
Thank you so so much!

Incredible technique, just as good as the one of my sensei Flavia Galfano, she watched 7 years of Jackie Chan so she knows her stuff, oss
Yes, I agree, I'm truly the best
