I needed this after the day I had yesterday. My dog went missing at the park. He is found luckily and so glad his safe and healthy. It was his birthday as well. I love your house especially the plants in the house and low lights. It defiantly makes it homey 🥰 What cosy up my house is having pjs on. Also curling up on the sofa watching Disney 🥰 ..also reading a favourite book in the sunshine. Me and dan have a pond, so listening to the water is quite relaxing 😌

The bird feeder outside the bedroom window is my favorite tip! We had one in the small tree right outside our bedroom window ( the one above our bed) we first got it for our two inside cats to have another “toy” and to feed the plethora of birds in our backyard. The cats loved it, the birds loved it, we loved it, and so did the raccoon every night when he’d clear out the entire feeder! It was an embarrassingly long time before I realized the birds weren’t eating all the food every day but that a raccoon was taking it all at night hahah! So now we have a bird feeder hanging with the fur that comes out of our Maine coon (long hair) cats brush. I wasn’t so sure how the birds would react but I saw a cute little chickadee having the best time picking up some fur for her nest one morning and it made me so happy! I’m happy to see ways to make a home homier that is more than a style, more than what’s trendy or what’s in style, what other content creators put in their posts, it just really makes me happy. Not that I don’t love to see the trendy aesthetic looks, it’s just hopeful that it will resonate with others to get creative in so many ways 💗

I usually say things happen for a reason but that doesn't quite fit eh but I am finding time to dreadlock my hair that I'd started but didn't really have the time to do... 🤭 And gardening, decorating, spend time with my 2 teenage children.. Life is deffinatly Not going to be normal again after this has settled in many ways.. ( hope didn't sound selfish but We know what's happening out there..) I love this. the cozy vibes are so needed. My space has gotten so cluttered with my mental state being a bit of a mess. I had a wreck a few weeks ago and totaled my car, so that's thrown me for a big loop. Hi Carrie! Your home looks lovely! I am thinking about moving in with my boyfriend, it would be the first home away from our families for both of us, do you have any decor tips for beginners? Also, I know that I would like to get a big house plant for the livingroom, but I need one that is easy to care for (because, let's face it, I'm not very good with plants 😅) and most importantly that isn't toxic to animals, because my boyfriend is going to take his cat with him. Plants actually don’t increase the oxygen levels by much...sadly. I have 45. I thought the same thing too - but you’d need like 3000 plants in your home to make a difference in oxygen levels. The little bit they do put off is negated by the CO2 that humans and pets give off! Fun fact lol. Regardless your home is pretty :)

I usually say things happen for a reason but that doesn't quite fit eh but I am finding time to dreadlock my hair that I'd started but didn't really have the time to do... 🤭 And gardening, decorating, spend time with my 2 teenage children.. Life is deffinatly Not going to be normal again after this has settled in many ways.. ( hope didn't sound selfish but We know what's happening out there..) Looking after ourselfs staying safe at home is what we have to do yeah!! 💋👍😍👍

I love this. the cozy vibes are so needed. My space has gotten so cluttered with my mental state being a bit of a mess. I had a wreck a few weeks ago and totaled my car, so that's thrown me for a big loop. I'm still recovering so i can't physically do as much as I'd like to, but this inspired me to try and tidy things up a bit and make things feel a bit better. thanks for the inspo.

Hi Carrie! Your home looks lovely! I am thinking about moving in with my boyfriend, it would be the first home away from our families for both of us, do you have any decor tips for beginners? Also, I know that I would like to get a big house plant for the livingroom, but I need one that is easy to care for (because, let's face it, I'm not very good with plants 😅) and most importantly that isn't toxic to animals, because my boyfriend is going to take his cat with him.
We both love wood, but we don't want our home to feel too 'old'.

Plants actually don’t increase the oxygen levels by much...sadly. I have 45. I thought the same thing too - but you’d need like 3000 plants in your home to make a difference in oxygen levels. The little bit they do put off is negated by the CO2 that humans and pets give off! Fun fact lol. Regardless your home is pretty :)
