Actually when I was a kid we would go to the beach 1 to 2 times during the summer and stay about a week each time. That’s all we did would be staying on the beach, so I would get bored and found that shark tooth hunting on the beach was really fun so I did that a lot as a kid, but I would only find small ones. I never knew until recently that you could find these big teeth in my home state! I do believe that I will start doing this a little bit more, I had a really good time, hope y’all have a wonderful evening and dinner!

    • @mezellenjohnson2753

@@TheCrystalCollector I like the small ones but the larger ones there have such beautiful colours and they seem to shimmer in the light, I showed Terry and he was amazed how big they were, he wouldn't like to meet up with sharks that had teeth like those he said lol. I enjoyed my dinner thank you, gluten free pizza is a treat I have once in a while and I love them. Terry does the cooking now bless him. We used to go to the beach for a week each summer, or was a sandy beach but further up where the cliffs were crumbling there were fossilized teeth, Mum couldn't go up that far so we didn't know about that area. My nephew has found quite a few in amongst the debris though. I didn't sleep last night so I'm going to rest for a while, I am very tired. Cheerio for now Bryan, love and hugs Mary-Ellen UK

Awesome. Thank you for sharing another cool digging of yours. It's always so exciting to unearth those treasures from millions of years ago, especially when you get the well preserved specimens which are complete, in good shape, and in beautiful shinning colors. Even though they are from millions of years ago, many of them are still sharp and pointed enough to cut or puncture. Those predators still bites.

there are some ways to calculate the size of the shark based on the tooth. To get a rough estimate, multiply 10 by the blade length in inches (do not count the root/gums). I would say the shark could be anywhere between 35-45 feet long based on the tooth in the video.

Oh man, I’ve heard stories about that location, it’s not even that far from where I live in Wilmington actually. Sure would be cool if it got open back up, maybe something I could try to work on, I’ve had people ask me to get in touch with them but I don’t have that much power, LOL. You never know though, she would be cool, I never got to experience that place! That’s wild you found the tooth on the skeleton, that’s really cool!
