Do u know anywhere to find shark teeth in Alabama?
Sorry, what I meant was if you find something of cultural importance can they claim it? Should have worded it better lol.
Careful those moccasins can be very aggressive. I was exploring a creek and one chased me for about 100ft and I had nothing to defend myself with. I've been told they do that but would have never believed it if it hadn't happened. Search4
Beautiful hunting
Loved the video man; if you are ever interested in
Cretaceous period shark teeth in north Mississippi let me know
I’m 58, and a retired Army Paratrooper. I devoted most of life to the military, doing cool military things....... but.... I happened to come across your channel, and I am so ‘ENVIOUS’ of you two!! You are both young, in the prime of your lives, and you have the great gift of knowledge about this world’s past and recognize the signs and clues of those ‘days gone by’. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with everyone. I would like to give you both the best gift I can bestow upon you from someone who is fast becoming a old fossil themselves......my gratitude, and a bit of my personal lifes’ history....Thank you!! Thank you!! for making me feel young again. Me and my wife, when we were about your age, some 40 years ago, (which is a long time if you actually think about it), were just as enthusiastic as you two are now... we panned for GOLD all over the USA, and parts of the world. It was some of the best times of our lives. She passed away 4 years ago, (DONT be sad, she lived a great life), and watching you two makes me very ...’Happy’ inside. I really love your adventures and your shared adventures. Thank you! SUB’d to your channel, you two have been adopted, your great kids!!😇👍
58 isn't old!
So you were 18 when you had a wife…..
@@seanhu1266 I was 20 when I got married,. I joined the Army at 18.
@@juditharsenault2131 feels old to me. LOL
Thank you for your service! Retired Air Force family here, my parents met the same time you and your wife did. Thankful for the life that the military was able to give me. God Bless.
I love that you listened to my comment and added pictures of where the fossils would have been on the animals! And then those arrowheads were amazing!!! I really enjoy seeing you two explore the outdoors.
It was a great suggestion! I’ll keep working on refining my techniques for showing you all where the fossils were on the animals. Thanks for watching the vids and for your helpful suggestions.
@@PaleoCris My pleasure! I’m also super excited to give the Meg tooth I ordered as a birthday gift. My friend is going to be super excited.
The value added by the pictures is amazing. Great suggestion, and great execution of the idea.
I love being able to see where it would have been too! amazing addition
Yes!! Thankyou for educating us!!! I love your videos, and I love that you are showing us the amazing animals that the fossils you are finding belonged to. Love you!!!! God bless🙏❤️
Both cottonmouths, bullseye pattern on sides it the tell. Those were healthy ones, stay safe!
I was hoping someone would comment on what kind of snakes they were cause I couldn't tell.
My 10th birthday was a week ago and I would love to meet up in Florida and find shark teeth with you and my dad. Anytime anyplace. My dad said I could I could skip school.
The sound of chert clinking together is the greatest thing on earth, I'm drooling over those points 😢
23:40 YOU TWO are the BEST COUPLE!! Thank you for sharing both your wonderful, educational experiences with us but, also an example of a healthy partnership/relationship!
The opening nature montage was epic. Thanks
The snake in the hole was likely a cottonmouth the black tipped tail gives it away!
Awesome hunt! I liked the illustrations showing where the fossils come from. Deeply appreciate the extra editing time that must have taken
Your B-Roll shots are always incredible! I loved the shot of the dragonfly/damselfly taking off!
Awesome finds and yes go back to that creek again, but take Wildkyle with you.
The first snake was a cottonmouth, I couldn't see the other well enough to tell but it looked like it. It could be a banded water snake. Be careful. Thanks for not hurting them.
Edit, the fossils are cool but the stone points are amazing. Awesome. I'm a native Florida man and never found one, but I never really looked either. I wonder if the indigenous used shark teeth for points? They have a good shape.
They did, it is documented.
They would've made good bird-points
My wife and I to this day have yet to find a Meg! Y’all are blessed!
Should you go back?LOL! Absolutely .I suspect strongly you could make a pretty secure research career just exploring that clay layer. Amazing day by anybody's measure.
Showing where the fossil is located is absolutely a game changer for me watching. Keep going back to that creek. Great job!
Thanks Mike! I’ll keep that as a regular part of my vids if it helps that much! I appreciate you watching and commenting.
hey mike
update please
did u go to this location? if so what did u find
Thank you for showing the reconstructions- very helpful!
I'm not a herpetologist or anything, but I'm about 95% certain that WAS a cottonmouth. Glad you steered clear; they can aggressively "chase" you if they feel threatened. Very beneficial sneks, for sure, but we gotta give 'em a wide berth.
Dude! What an epic hunt!!!! The opening b-roll was crisp as heck too 🔥
As always, he is the king of B-roll footage on UA-cam. He knows what hes doing and he does it well.
Always nice to see one UA-camr comment on anothers with positive feedback. Even better when you watch both channels already.
Uh, yeah, definitely go back and take Kyle with you. What a tremendous day!
Absolutely amazing finds. You have located a goldmine of a location. I know many people who have found great things on the Peace River in Arcadia. Not sure where you all were. Glad you were watching for the snakes. Those were water moccasins and huge ones at that. Happy hunting and please go back to this location again.
The impact of finding and touching/holding the points, for me, is knowing you’re the first humans to touch the artifact tool since its 4k year old human maker. So cool!
Fantastic video!
The finds were amazing but I also really love the flora and fauna shots.
And the inserted diagrams and pictures of the original animals to show were the bones and teeth came from are excellent!
Thank you so much for the effort you put into producing this video. Please give us more!
Wow, you guys have really upped your video game! Love the added diagrams, too - very helpful. Love that you capture flora, fauna, as well as fossils- and what a killer artifact day!
It’s hard for me to believe that those serrated teeth are just the by product of millions of years of evolution. Seems like there has to have been some sort of guiding hand involved. It’s way over my head to comprehend
Brilliant video, as always! You have not only a great eye for nature's details, but the knowledge to explain what we're looking at - and even when you don't explain and just let the beauty of the area speak for itself in your close-up shots and slow mo, it's breathtaking! I could watch hours of your nature footage!
Hi from the UK. Your video is fabulous; as exciting and dramatic as it is educational. Especially appreciated the diagrams showing where the finds would have fit on the original owners. Keep it up and keep on posting!
Anyone gonna talk about that amazing opening transition sequence?
You guys need to find the fossils of the as of yet unknown Briosaurus Chrisonii.
Absolutely love how knowledgeable you both are of all your surroundings. Also how well you explain those things to viewers to understand.
Amazing finds. Thanks so much for sharing! You guys are so much fun. Love to see more at that creek!
Appreciate the knowledge and explanations about your finds, made this vlog worth watching
Now you know why you were meant to be there that day at that time! 😀🥹 Thank you for saving that turtle🙏💯❤️😉🌞😎

Great finds. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge with us. Much appreciated.
Great video you guys. Congratulations on your awesome finds. Keep the great hunts going-the additional coverage of plants and animals is fantastic.
What a fantastic adventure! Thanks for sharing :)
What a great video! I love the nature scenes both in the beginning and interspersed with fossil hunting. Oh my gosh, the points are incredible! And that last one is magnificent! That area must have been a very desirable place to live for native cultures throughout the ages. You've definitely got to go back there! Thank you for braving the bugs and snakes to make this video!
Killer finds! I want to see more from this creek in the future! 👍
Seeing you rescue such amazing artifacts from the creek is so refreshing. I always love how the points are basically shaped like the teeth.
Beautiful, good work you and Brie
One of my favorite videos !!! Great finds. I’d go back there often. !!!!
More incredible killer points and fossil finds. You never cease to amaze me! Congratulations Cris!
OMG I had to share this all over the place!!! Such an amazing brilliant video ! Thank you- more more more
Yes Yes!!! We need to see what other crazy amazing totally awesome treasures you two can find at this crown jewel of all creeks!!! What a blast, thank you for sharing your adventure thru the world of fungi!!! Bri and your excitement from discovering your finds is so much fun!!!
Cant wait for the next adventure!
Really awesome finds wow! Also love the environment shots and really interesting that you explain more about the fossils. Greetings from the Netherlands
You two are so knowledgeable which just adds to the enjoyment of watching! Thanks for the lessons! 🙂🤠
Your "big snake" was definitely a cottonmouth. The pattern is very distinctive, and looks very similar to a copperhead, the one right after that looked like the same species, that's a good place to be careful where you put your hands and feet. Once you've seen enough of them, they become pretty easy to id. You actually show quite a few venomous species in your videos, it's good to see healthy, thriving populations of them, considering how many people indiscriminately kill them. I appreciate SO much that you're respectful of them, and admire their beauty. They're very pretty little critters !! Just the same, you might want to invest in some good snake boots, they can save your life, and protect you from a 10K hospital bill.
When I turned it on and seen the snakes I felt helpless! They have a lot going on based on there interest geology and paleontology can't be getting taken out by a 🐍🙏
Naw we are the bigger species and they die if it means us dying thats how nature works, you think 1 wouldnt take you out the first chance it got?
Love watching you find fossils but absolutely love arrowheads. You guys killed it on this hunt…congratulations
Amazing . I love the information on all the finds .thanks
They’re both so smart ! I learned so much ! Thanks thanks
So excited about your new honey hole! What a year-maker!!

Holy wow guys, such awesome finds congrats!! You really really need to go back to that spot, I would bet that there are lots more where that came from.
I love living through you guys!!! I'm not mobile any longer and seeing these things makes me happy. I would love to get out and do these things. So cool!!!

Love that your showing where the bones go on the screen shots. ❤️❤️❤️
Definitely enjoyed the whole video! I don’t know much about fossils, so seeing the “Where at” diagrams was very helpful and interesting. The points on the other hand are our favorites and you both found some some beauties!! Especially that Serrated Stemmed Kirk! What an absolute killer piece!! Thanks for sharing.
Guys...knock it off!!

Most excellent video. Fabulous nature shots, great inset illustrations….you guys really know your stuff! I figured state land because when you show road shots, there are long long stretches and no driveways! I am so glad you get to collect in the tiny streams..way cool. Thanks.
Really appreciate the information about what you're finding in these creeks.
Best video of a hunt I’ve ever seen. Superb sidebar goodies, depth of knowledge…and the finds were SO incredibly interesting. You two make an awesome team. I got goose bumps at the big serrated point too! Epic! Many thanks. PS: Yes…go back!
