I went off anti-anxiety medicine a few months ago after having taken it for a couple of years and it really messed up my eye's ability to focus too, glad to know it's not just me who has this problem

Love you Christine! Massage Therapist here, and I HIGHLY recommend getting either the treadmill desk or a standing desk and getting a flat treadmill. That way you can have your body moving while you write. It'll be an adjustment, but people that work on computers are the majority of my clients and you'll feel better!

Hey Christine! I am writing this with all of the love and respect from one anxious bean to another! I noticed that you made a comment about trying anxiety meds and it not really working for you-which is the case for a lot of people! But I do hope that you'll give them another chance in the future. I started anxiety meds of my own last year (and, in the words of my doctor, the meds help to "take the edge off the anxiety," and I can confirm that's absolutely true). But I also know the journey to finding the right med and dose can take a little while! I just hope the meds that didn't work in November didn't scare you off them forever. I promise they can and do help, but it takes time to find the right kind (plus, there's that pesky 4-6 week waiting time before the meds are fully effective). Much like with the writing journey, don't forget to be patient with yourself and take care! 💜
this is SO random (but also big fan): next month you can do the mid-year freak out tag ALONGSIDE the same tag but with content creators. We all discover different channels everyday, but the ones with bigger followers can shout out some, meaning more and more new channels get noticed! maybe?

Same boat with not taking drugs cause scared. I got prescribed pain killers that at high dose are used as anti-depressants and have not used them yet at all because I am afraid. Guess nothing heals chronic pain faster than fear

Little late to commenting, but if you're using Word you should be able to turn on autosave so that it just automatically saves as you write, so then you'd be less likely to lose what you're working on
lol unfortunately it tells me i need to subscribe to the microsoft cloud in order for it to auto save which feels like absolute bs
